“My new local coffee shop, and I couldn't be happier to have such tasty beverages on my doorstop :) Sandwiches, cold drinks and pastries are available too, but it's their teas, coffees and hot chocolates (with a vast array of flavour options) which give them the reputation that they deserve.”

“This is my favourite Café. I always pop in for a breakfast/brunch when I'm in this area. I also love the Armenian dessert. Place is run by super kind and polite, and very professional people. Always smiled and happy to help. You can see how your food is made, as kitchen door are always open. It's always busy here but I've never waited for the food too long. Very tasty coffee. They also provide few toys for small children, so families are nicely welcome here. Prices are fair. I highly recommend that place for everyone, who values a good quality of food and expect a positive attitude from the staff. I've been here many times and for sure, I'll be coming back here soon.”

“Local couple following their dream. It’s a cafe but I haven’t visited during the day. As a bar they have Neck Oil and Cruzcampo on draught. Wine and spirits available. Gets busy and buzzy Friday and Saturday. Would be great if they do snacks eg meat platters, cheese, olives etc in summer. I wish you every success.”

“A massive thank you to the whole team at Barwoods for the fitted wardrobes and dressing tables etc that we have recently had fitted. This is the second time we’ve had wardrobes fitted with Barwood’s and the quality and attention to details hasn’t changed at all. Our eldest has already hung his medals up on the custom made board and arranged his trophy's on the shelf above his desk and even our 4 year old was excited to have new wardrobes! I absolutely love all the bedrooms. Genuinely, we’re absolutely delighted with them and wish to pass on our thanks to David & Jean, Josh, Nathan, Jonathan and of course Julie who designed it all.”

“Cannot recommend this beautiful venue highly enough. We chose by chance ahd couldn’t be happier. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left 3 days later the staff and owners were nothing less than perfect hosts. Everyone was friendly and helpful, the food was simply incredible, the venue is gorgeous and the atmosphere is so peaceful and chilled. Our room was stylish, beautifully furnished and comfortable. We will DEFINITELY be back. A hidden gem of a place.”

“What an amazing B&B. Sharon and Dave were simply wonderful hosts, with my family descending on them for the weekend for a nearby wedding. The beautiful flowers on the door were a good omen that we were in safe hands. The decor in the cottage was lovely and the whole place was well maintained. Sharon did a great job providing breakfast for all of us and they made us feel very welcome. It was a lovely break from urban life, would definitely recommend to others and I'd happily stay there again!”

“Amazing food, great service and unusual idea, all you can eat steak with the system of controlling when you wish to be served again by flipping the card from green to red. We visited last night for the first time and left really full and impressed. This is definitely not our last visit,the next time will probably come for bottomless service so drinks could flow as well. It's not cheap but it is worth the money. Everyone from the staff was very friendly and welcoming, the whole experience was just unforgettable including the deco and music. Thank you for having us and making our anniversary so special. “This place is five ⭐ stars!! Afternoon event for a Holy Communion! Food, atmosphere and staff all amazing. A sense that they all enjoy their work!! Very clean and probably the best breakfast food I’ve had in years! Perfection!! Value for money also was a 5/5!!!! My son who has autism enjoyed his food and ate it so that’s a big compliment!!! “Fantastic little tea room. I'm not one for writing reviews, but felt this place really deserved one. Very busy when we arrived, we were lucky to get some comfy chairs in the window. Amazing bacon bap with lovely thick tasty bacon from the local butcher, huge mug of delicious black coffee, very happy to pay £6.95. Charming staff, will definitely be back.”

“This place is amazing. Visited for the first time yesterday and will certainly be back. The food was great, felt really authentic and was clearly freshly made. It is also so reasonably priced for what you get I was met warmly when I went to collect our order and whilst I didnt get to chat the service was genuine and the people were lovely I don't know what goes into the gravy with the chicken split but I would happily have it everyday My photos do not do this place justice as I was too eager to start eating!”

“From the excellent reviews, I was expecting a lot. I wasn't disappointed. The menu contains the traditional tapas options, with the odd twist. Everything we ordered was delicious. We ordered 6 tapas between the two of us. This ended up being quite a bit of food. We still managed it though. Some dishes are on the pricey side, but the quality made them worth it. The mushrooms in cream, the pork belly and the albondigas (with cheese) were the highlights. But, as mentioned, everything was delicious.”

“food - great and super tasteful and well cooked. we ordered some appetisers, the mixed grill and the mixed seafood grill/plate. it was realy good and we filled ourselves too much for dessert. that saffron rice was so good. service - good but can be sorta slow? the food came pretty quick and we didnt have to wait too long. drinks arrived after appetisers which was a little strange but oh wells. no complaints about the staff tho. atmosphere - really nice and pretty. they have a sort of balcony seating which is decorated beautifully. however there was a big group so the place was a little noisy but no fault of the restaurant. overall, really great place and food was amazing. will return again”
