“Brilliant place with a great atmosphere. Very comfortable and welcoming with extremely friendly volunteers running it. Brings a real sense of community which is part of the aim. They run a fab cafe with some very different choices of food and also include vegetarian and vegan options too. Events and projects for the community run during the day and the evening. There's a bar for evening events which serves a great selection of drinks at incredibly reasonable prices. A very relaxed informal welcoming place. Open mic night is lots of fun with anyone and everyone encouraged to get up and play or sing. Very eclectic with something for everyone. Lots of local artisans and artists sell their wares here too and there are lots of plans in the pipeline yet to come”

“The best Curry I have ever had! Amazing value for money and the owner (pictured) is super accommodating, as he often allows me to switch an item for something else! As a regular customer, I get greeted with a drink on the house and a big smile too! The food is top quality, and so is the service. Freshly cooked with a 5-star food hygiene rating. I highly recommend onion Bhaji and Meat Samosa!”

“I’ll start my review by saying that I’ve eaten at all the so called ‘best Indian Restaurants’ locally and to be fair there are a few good ones but often victims of their own success. However, in my opinion, Spice Bistro is up there amongst the best and from the meals I’ve eaten, it is by far the best Indian Restaurant around the Tameside and Glossop area. The meat they serve is so very tender, full of flavour and simply melts in your mouth and this is complimented by the curry sauces which have so much flavour they make you drool. The portion sizes are exceptional because they are thick and not full of oil or watery sauce and if you order a takeaway the foil container is full to the top. I can’t compliment the quality of the food enough…….it is that good. As a side note, the staff are incredibly polite, helpful and chatty but most important they are humble and respectful and this creates a happy vibe around the restaurant. If you have not eaten here before, believe me it will become your no. 1 go to restaurant for a curry. The cost of a curry from here is similar to a kebab from a takeaway and my only regret is that I haven’t eaten from here more often. The restaurant is not the biggest in the world but that’s a bonus as it allows the staff to look after their customers and give them an enjoyable experience. I cannot praise this restaurant highly enough!”

There were 4 fantastic not big brewet ales on tonight with good rock background music next door to the Hyde central station This pub, when drinking real ales in Hyde, is an essential visit”

“My recent dinner experience at The Rising Moon Restaurant Pub was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. Everything, from the moment we walked in to the time we left, exceeded our expectations. The food was simply amazing. Every dish we ordered was prepared perfectly, delivered piping hot, and tasted incredible. It’s clear the kitchen takes great pride in the quality of their ingredients and cooking. Beyond the food, the atmosphere was delightful. There was a lively, warm buzz amongst the other diners, creating a very welcoming and comfortable environment that made our evening truly enjoyable. What really made the night memorable was the exceptional service provided by the entire team. All the staff members we interacted with were incredibly nice, polite, and attentive. In particular, I must give a special mention to Adam, who was truly great. Adam was not only very friendly and professional, but he went above and beyond to make our visit special. When he learned it was my mother's birthday, he kindly and thoughtfully brought out a slice of cake for her. This gesture of genuine care and attention made her day and demonstrated a level of service that is rarely seen. The combination of great food, wonderful atmosphere, and exemplary service ensures that we will definitely be returning to The Rising Moon Pub again very soon. We had a lovely evening, and I highly recommend this establishment to anyone looking for a superb dining experience. “Only Indian restaurant we dine at, Menu is very varied,my favourite is the Shathkora, a medium curry with Lime, food quality and portions are spot on, service with a friendly smile, everytime. Moving soon into the precinct, so more room as its only a small restaurant currently. Prices are good, and the cobra is just right.”

“Wouldn’t go anywhere else.As I am new to the area and unable to get to the nail salon I went too.I was worried I would not find anywhere that was as good as my last technician..Because of plenty of places to park and get to I decided to try this Salon first..I am glad I did.they are even better. So friendly and welcoming..always offered a coffee when you sit down.All 3 staff are brilliant.I show a photo of what I would like and that is exactly what I leave with.I am constantly complimented on how nice my nails are.Nothing is too much for them I returned after a few days once because I wasn’t happy with what I had chosen.The gel and nail art was removed and completely re done to something else I had chose the technician would not take any money from me.. I would definitely recommend the Salon to anyone…”

“Amazing! Fresh, tasty, love that the sauce and salad is separate so food is really hot, salad crunchy, naan as it should be and not a soggy mess. Lots of meat which was all really well cooked. We ordered the apple pie, wish I had ordered 10........ordered from choices many times and had one not so brilliant meal so shopped around, mistake because nothing else has come close, hence we returned and so glad that we did. We also used our points tonight so the bill was really cheap, almost feel guilty using the points because the quality of the food was perfect. Delivered in really good time too, bonus, portion's are large so enough for lunch tomorrow too. That apple pie!”

“Hello, We ordered food for my son's birthday party. The food was delicious, and everyone loved it. It was delivered on time, and the staff were lovely. There was so much food for everyone. I highly recommend them for parties. PS: Chicken Biryani and Chicken lollipop were yummy, but Parotta and chicken curry were the stars of the day. Really busy but the staff were excellent so no problem getting served. Although there was a choice of bitters it's a shame that there was no cask ale. A good looking pub and a friendly atmosphere and the band were brilliant so a really enjoyable Saturday night.”

“Fantastic inclusive dance school. I attend the adult tap class. I joined a few years ago now as a compete novice. I was made to feel welcome instantly and have enjoyed participating in shows and charity events. I would highly recommend joining if you are looking for a friendly welcoming dance school”

“Went in here whilst I had to wait for my brakes done. I ordered the £11.50 fish special. The staff were really friendly, it looked really clean inside. When the food came it was a decent size portion for the money, I actually struggled to finish it. The fish was really a good size, fresh and flaky. It melted in your mouth ,the batter on the fish was crispy and light. The chips were cooked perfectly and plenty of them as were the mushy peas, this also came with bread and butter and a drink. I would definitely come back in the future when im in Hyde”
