βSmall school with excellent facilities and a very high standard teachingβ
βA friendly and fun environment for absolutely everyone! Children make friends for life and learn various skills across the arts!β
βSince the first day my daughter started at Hale Day Nursery, she has thrived and loved every moment. Sheβs seamlessly moved from one room to the next, receiving the same level of care and attention by each member of staff, who deliver learning and development in a fresh and forward-thinking way - one that engages and stretches the children. I canβt recommend the nursery enough.β
βWonderful place and people who go thereβ
βMy daughter underwent a total transformation within a year at Bowdon and had I known the difference it makes to a child's development earlier, I would have moved her from her original school much sooner.β
βMy son has finished his first year of reception and itβs been a good experience. Our hope was that heβd find a friendly and diverse environment where any learning needs could be quickly identified and addressed. Although our primary focus was an emphasis good pastoral care and holistic development versus pure academic targets, weβve been happy to note that he performs well above a broad group of his peers in this aspect. He has been stretched in areas where he was strong and supported in those he currently struggled with. As a consequence, he no longer finds mathematics onerous and takes pleasure in demonstrating his skills. We look forward to his pursuing opportunities in music and on the sports field in the coming years. A welcome bonus has been making new friends with other parents from a wide range of backgrounds. Accepting that we may be biased given the wealth of excellent state primary schools in Trafford, overall our experience with the school has been a good one, supporting our choice for an independent school in general and St Ambrose in particular.β
βI went here before high school. Absolutely AWESOME. Awesome people here and just greatβ
βA fantastic dance school. My daughter has attended classes here for about 14 years! Started as a toddler in a pink frilly tutu! The dance teacher Lesley is lovely and patiently teaches all the children from toddlers to teens and runs adult classes for fitness as well. Itβs very much a calm and no pressure environment. Affordable. There is the opportunity to achieve dance grades with certificates, medals and trophies. There is a dance show to take part in each year which again is fun with no pressure on the children and also costumes and tickets etc are much more affordable than other places. My daughter has loads of hobbies and interests but this is the longest lasting β¦. I think Lesley also provides her with a safe place to talk about her stressful life issuesβ¦..even more important in the teenage years! Iβve met lots of other lovely mums throughout the years too!β
βWe have had the pleasure of having our two children looked after by Elmscot Day Nursery for the past five years, after a lot of researching other nurseries before we set out. I can confidently say that they are simply the best in Timperley / Altrincham. Special thanks to Joe, Danielle, Mrs Williams, Ruby, Siobhan, Louise, Kathryn, and of course, Practice Manager Laura, who has gone above and beyond in every way over the years. Their kindness, professionalism, and genuine care have made a big difference in our childrenβs lives. We always felt reassured knowing our kids were in such capable hands, learning and growing in a warm, nurturing environment. Elmscot is not just a nursery; itβs a second home for our kids! Thank you for all the wonderful memories!β
βWonderful school, my son has flourished since beginning there. Keep up the good work!β
βMy daughter has attended at this nursery for 3 years now, she is always so happy to come in to the settings! We have always had a lovely experience with the staff team! Theyβre very friendly, caring and supportive. My child has learned so much during this time with them! Would definitely recommend to everyone! The nursery looks so nice and clean.. and the outside area looks great too. Iβm so grateful for this lovely team. Xxβ
βFantastic school! Incredible ethos, teachers, facilities and a real feeling of being part of a nurturing community. Proud that our son is a Forrester.β
