“Came in for a few drinks a couple of weeks ago and I would recommend this pub to anyone. All the staff were friendly, but Kerry really stuck out to me. She is a breath of fresh air, always smiling and Nothing was to much hard work for her. Such a lovely girl and a great assist to you.”

“Massive shout out to Alex in the kitchen. Ordered 2 mixed grills this evening and they were absolutely spot on. Steak cooked exactly how we wanted, chicken nice and juicy, and everything else as you’d expect. We’ve had worse steaks from actual steakhouses! Food was out fairly quickly however standard was not compromised in the slightest”

“Absolutley amazing, very last minuite room hire due to being let down by a venue and trevor was really kind to let me have my birthday party on such short notice, couldnt thank him enough and couldnt fault him either, the music was great and he made sure we all had a great night, the bar staff were amazing they were so friendly, i will definitley be reccomending this place to everyone, thank you all for a lovely night it really will be a night ill never forget”

“Down for a weekend from Rhyl went to Lincolns in town centre warm welcome felt comfortable excellent food well priced definitely worth a visit if you've not been not far from shopping centre cromptom place it's a little hidden gem”

“The best fish ’n’ chips in the area. PERIOD. Anybody saying the Kingfisher on Parrin Lane is better — and the other comments — listen up. Yes, they are super friendly at the Kingfisher. They also close at 8:30, not the 9 p.m. this one does. And you can’t complain that this no longer takes card payments because neither does the Kingfisher, but this at least allows bank transfer — so basically it takes card payments. Also, saying it’s expensive? Last night I got a LARGE FISH & CHIPS with a pot of GRAVY and a pot of MUSHY-PEAS (both of which are far superior to Kingfisher’s) for £11.20. I think that’s very fair. I’m posting the pics here so you can see how amazing they are — and that’s after going to Lidl and walking 10 minutes home. Hot, delicious, and not greasy. 10/10. Give them a try at least once so you KNOW for yourself. :)”

“My friend and I visited John Gilbert on 19th December for lunch. Service was very good (by Casey). Both our meals were very tasty and served lovely and hot. It was beautifully decorated for Christmas. A nice relaxing ambience. I would definitely recommend this pub both for food and service.”

“Service was amazing. They were very attentive to my friend who has a food allergy. We got there at 6:40pm but got a train to catch at 8. They sped up the service and we were out by 7:40pm. Steaks superb, Caesar can’t be faulted, and chips to die for.”

“A lot of people will disagree with this as the reputation of the Navigation Hotel is not great, but having just returned from an early afternoon meal there, I have to say it was excellent. The food can't be faulted, it's not haute cuisine, but good pub grub, with some nice options on the menu. The staff were friendly and helpful, and I much prefer it here to many other places that are more popular. Prices are very low, the fact that there are no cask beers is a little disappointing, but I was there to eat, and the John Smith's is adequate. Yes there are screens showing football, but it was not overwhelming and it wasn't full of drunken fans. I would certainly recommend the Navigation and will be back soon.”

“Always have a laugh in here with the family serving. Convenient with good stock and decent prices for a local store. Usually just buy my milk and the odd chocolate fix but essentials there too and open when they say they will be. Would love it if they started doing more services like evri and yodel but have recently got an inpost outside so that’s a start :)”

The portion sizes are generous, the food is consistently delicious (the salt and pepper chips are 100% worth the extra), and the atmosphere is always warm and welcoming. Carl always greets us with a big smile and makes us feel right at home. Highly recommend, and already looking forward to our next visit!”

“Visited Yarrow Bridge with my wife and daughter for a casual bite to eat on a Saturday afternoon. Lovely place with good outdoor seating and a nice relaxed atmosphere. Staff were friendly and the service was quick. I went for the chicken platter with fries, coleslaw, and Carolina Grim Reaper sauce. The coleslaw didn’t arrive and, as it turns out, the sauce was way hotter than I was ready for (my fault). I popped inside and asked if I could swap the sauce for something else instead of the missing coleslaw. To be fair, the barman came straight over with both a new sauce and the coleslaw. No hassle. Really decent customer service. We stayed for several drinks. All round, a great pub with good food, friendly staff and a proper relaxed feel. Would definitely go back.”

“So enjoyed this our first visit and far exceeded our expectations- easy and free to park by simple registering your vehicle at the console by the bar. Spacious, well lit, beautifully set out with windows offering views of the canal basin ,its boats and nice canal walks in both directions. Friendly and very welcoming staff. Plenty of tables inside and on the terraces outside. Lovely atmosphere and ambiance and includes historic photos of canal and boating life. Dog and child/ family friendly. Usy on our mid lunchtime mid week visitGreat selection on menu and reasonable prices and such delicious food ( great coffee too) Will certainly visit again soon and likely do so regularly from hence. Thanks to all the staff for making our visit a marvellous experience . I'd highly recom end this lovely pub restaurant.”

“After following how this place went above and beyond to survive since Covid, it was great to finally be there in person... The welcome is so warm, Mediterranean and done exactly beautifully right! The food - pictures speaks for themselves! The starter and dessert sharing boards are phenomenal. Fill of varieties and flavours. The pasta dishes were delicious and delivered a great intense flavour. Though, nothing beats the sharing of boards. The service was super attentive, friendly and welcoming. We loved it! Highly recommend this place !”

“Absolutely love little place. All the staff are friendly and can’t do enough for you. Food was amazing and came out quickly, hot and presentation was spot on . We Went on Mother’s day and they decorated the tables with flowers and balloons. Also had a live band play whom were very fitting for the occasion. Highly recommend. They cater for dogs, children and families.”

“Came for bottomless brunch with the girls, drinks were replenished promptly and cocktails and drinks within the prosecco menu were really good quality compared to other bottomless brunch locations. Everyone on the table were able to pick specific bottomless brunch menus meaning we could have choose whether we wanted the cocktail or prosecco menu, which meant everyone was happy. Staff were attentive and friendly and nothing was too much of an ask. FOOD … WOW! The food was incredible, piping hot and really good portions! We’ve already booked our next visit! Highly recommend!”
