Tasted like real Eastern European cooked in the home, which is actually what the lovely host told us: all cooked by his wife. Unbelievable desert, nothing was too heavy, but rich and layered tastes. “The dashboard on our Ford kuga lit up like a Christmas tree with numerous faults and messages. Quickly booked in with CJ auto's who diagnosed a faulty electrical module, I was kept informed of the progress and available options, once fixed I asked them to service and MOT the car which they completed quickly and updated the Ford digital service record. I would highly recommend them and will continue to take the car to them in the future. A trusted Ford independent specialist.”

“Came here for our anniversary meal and it honestly was the best meal we have had! The staff were incredible throughout the night, and whilst we didn’t get their names, the young, blonde lady and the middle aged, olive skinned gentleman who served us a glass of bubbly each were amazing. The food is to die for and trust me you will not be going hungry when you leave. Thank you for making our night an unforgettable experience!”

“It’s a must-visit place, especially for true football fans. I highly recommend taking the guided tour, as the guides share fascinating stories and historical moments about Manchester United’s incredible journey. You get to visit the locker rooms, walk through the players’ tunnel, and even sit in the manager’s seat at Old Trafford — “The Theatre of Dreams.” The museum is also very impressive, showcasing trophies, legendary players’ shirts, and multimedia displays that bring the club’s history to life. The tickets might seem a little expensive, but in my opinion, it’s absolutely worth it for the experience and the emotions you feel inside the stadium. However, I would emphasize that it’s most enjoyable if you’re a football fan — especially if you love Manchester United. For anyone passionate about football history and atmosphere, this place is unforgettable.”

“We travelled from Newcastle and stopped at this place for some lunch. The atmosphere was relaxed, and the weather was sunny. The staff were all nice and happy and extremely accommodating. “We visited for the first time on Saturday 8th November 2025 and we were served by Simona. She couldn’t have been more attentive. The service provided was excellent and right up there with the food. I had the arancini and the carbonara with sides of tenderstem broccoli and rocket. My partner had the scarpetta and lasagne. We both really enjoyed the food, particularly the dishes I picked. Simona kindly made me aware that the carbonara was traditional and not cooked with cream, which is what I expected but I do know people who have eaten a version of “carbonara” with cream who would definitely appreciate this information for their knowledge and to be aware of what they were ordering. Despite our table being booked for 7pm on a Saturday and the restaurant being very busy, we did not wait long to be served or for our food to come out. It was all well presented and perfectly cooked. I’ve already recommended a number of people to visit since our meal and we will definitely return next time we’re in Manchester.”

Carlos brought my full order to my table and made sure I had everything I needed. Catherine bused the dishes from my table when I was finished and ensured I was satisfied with everything. I had a lovely conversation with all three of them after I was finished and left feeling very thankful this was the coffee shop I chose while I was in town for a day. “A hidden gem. My son had his 5th birthday party there today and had a fantastic time. The staff (especially our party host and who l believe to be the manager) went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and were so accommodating- nothing was too much trouble, nothing felt rushed and all the children looked like they were having a great time.
