“Bethany and her team created the most beautiful bouquet of flowers and centrepieces I’ve ever seen. I’m not being over dramatic! I asked Bethany for bright colours - pinks, lilac, yellow and orange. I was happy for Bethany for pick the flowers so when she arrived with them it was a wonderful surprise. I actually didn’t put my bouquet down all day other than eating our meal. I didn’t want to be without it because I just loved the colours so much. Bethany also made our church look stunning then transferred them from church over to Manchester Hall to be our table centrepieces. It all happened seamlessly because I have no idea when she did it! But by the time we were having our meal the church flowers were ready to go. So many people complimented our flowers and I’m just so pleased that Bethany and her team made them for us. Thanks so much!!”

“Thank you Sandy Green for doing my very first tattoo. It was a very nice experience. The result came out better than i dreamed of. The atmosphere in the studio was great. Quite simply, a bunch of lovely people. Maybe there will be a few more tattoos later. Who knows :-) If so, I'll be back ❤”

“Came here after reading reviews. We ordered wonton/ dumpling soup, Beef ho fun, salt and pepper tofu and mixed vegetables. The dumplings and wonton are huge in a well flavoured broth. The beef ho fun was nice. Loved the salt and pepper tofu. It was very light and crunchy. The ladies working there are very friendly and nice. A lot of Asians come here so you can tell it’s good food. Very extensive menu for a small eatery I would book at busier times. We came late afternoon. Next time will come earlier as they had already run out of roast duck and char Siu”

“I’ve been a huge Crystal Maze fan since I was a child and this place is very authentic and true to the original game. We were a party of 4 and everyone got to play at least 4 games while travelling around the 4 zones. My only critique is that I feel like there should be some sort of prize at the end or a scoreboard or something as it felt like a bit of an anticlimax. It is quite a treat to spend so much money on 90 minutes of entertainment, but truly, I would do it again. I loved it!”

“Great little cinema which is made especially enjoyable by the little introduction that the staff do on each film, giving a little insight into how it was made, or other films the director has made. The place is welcoming to everyone, and when my partner and I went to watch The Handmaiden, there were a wide variety of people in the audience, which is always good to see.”

“Just been to watch 'Everyone's talking about Jamie'. Wow, just wow. What a brilliant production. I cried, properly cried and I turned to my friend who was also crying. The acting capability was outstanding. The venue, lovely, small and perfectly adequate. Never been to a show at the Playhouse before, but would 100% return. What an amazing night watching some talented young and older actors.”

“Absolutely fabulous night watching the production of 'Dad's Army'. Characters were so true to TV adaptation. Singing WW2 songs in the audience really added to the ambience.”

“We went for Smugs one man show which was absolutely brilliant, it is a small theatre and worked well to give a really intimate feel. A lot going on behind the scenes to provide such a great show, for me it was everything the theatre should be, special mention for front of house staff who were lovely. Wish them ATB for the future.”

“I took my very nervous french bulldog to have her nails clipped for the first time at poochys grooming and the lady was very nice and calming, if my dog could talk she’d probably say she had a terrible time having her nails clipped but I would say differently I had a lovey experience and I would definitely recommend to other Thank you :)”

“I keep being asked how my visit was by Google but I've only ever known this as a pub. It looks fantastic inside. I drank in there from 1986 upto 1995. To turn this into what in guessing is a young child's pool must have been such a gamble but it seems to have been a very clever one. I wonder if such imagination will go into other pubs that close. “Decided to give our local a go having seen the refurbishment happening. We weren’t disappointed. Our dog was welcomed in too. Lovely atmosphere, great jukebox and the drinks are well priced and served with a smile. The landlord is a lovely guy, very friendly and chatty. Can’t wait to spend some time in the beer garden in the summer too.”
