After struggling with severe pain from my coil for weeks—so bad I couldn't even go to work—I was growing increasingly frustrated with the NHS's long waiting times. “I've been suffering with abdominal pain for over 6 months and it was put down to suspected gallbladder issues. I was referred to Prof Sheen who after a HIDA scan ruled that out. I was tested for ACNES as an alternative cause and surgery was suggested. I was booked into the Spire and the surgery was carried out swiftly. 6 weeks post op and I haven't had another pain in my abdomen. I'm so pleased Prof Sheen is such an excellent surgeon and diagnostician, and my issue is solved. With the lack of knowledge around this condition I am so happy the correct diagnosis could be formed and solved so quickly.”

“Whilst I had an initial consultation for a sore throat, I ended up having a half thyroidectomy to remove a sizeable lump that I had no idea was there. The investigation was done in one session, quickly and efficiently, with a swift follow on, resulting in minimal concern. The operation went smoothly, with an almost immediate recovery and hardly any evidence anything had happened. I am delighted with the knowledge, communications, empathy and practicality I have received. Information sharing was pertinent and timely, meaning decisions were easy. Now I feel a lot better and Clarendon give me blood test every 6 months to monitor my bloods great service”

“Excellent. My optician advised me to go to the eye hospital following an eye injury. All the staff were lovely and professional. I was triaged very quickly. My injury was treated and I was on my way home within an hour and a half. Glad I went to the eye hospital and no my local a&e.”

“I was dubious about the treatment and wanted to wait a few weeks before I did a review. Firstly Keran, the nurse who did my treatment was amazing! Put me at ease straight away and was really easy to talk to! The treatment itself was a little more painful than I expected, but bearable. After 2 weeks I was noticing a difference in my symptoms and they are continuing to improve! I will definitely have another treatment if/when needed. I would recommend to anyone struggling with their vaginal health! 10/10”

“We had to take our cat for an emergency appointment and this place was suggested on our vet's website, since this place was open after hours, Sundays and Bank Holidays. We rang up and got told to come here as soon as we could, no appointment needed. The facilities were good. A really great idea in dividing the waiting areas for dogs and cats, so less disruption. The cat waiting area even offered blankets to cover baskets if we had a nervous cat, lovely touch. Unfortunately we had to have our cat put to sleep, but the vet that we had informed us of our options, respectful to us and our cat, and the process. He really helped us through it all and what to do next. The reception staff were all friendly, attentive and helpful.”
