I’ve been going to footlights since I was six and have made so many incredible memories and met just the most amazing people. Apart from learning to sing, dance and act, footlights is so much more than that! It’s a family and being apart of it is something I will never forget!!”

“Chestnut Theatre School is just fantastic! My daughter has been going for two years, and it's been amazing to see her come out of her shell. She used to be so shy, but now she's much more confident and loves going to her drama classes. The teachers are so kind and really know how to make the kids feel good about themselves. “Our first visit to Knutsford Little Theatre, and boy! Did this venue deliver! Seats are limited, but that means you're always going to be close to the stage! The show we saw, Together for Theatre's "Into the Spotlight", was fantastic, and it was clear that there were up to date lighting, sound and stage equipment available! We enjoyed a drink in their bar, and appreciated the service and assistance of staff whenever sought... I currently have mobility issues and found it easy to navigate. Parking is limited on the street, but there was a nearby car park in easy walking distance, even for me! I highly recommend this venue!”

Miss Sally is just so lovely too. She's so good with the girls. They all love her. It's so good to see. Like a family. And I've made some lovely friends there too with the dance mum's. X”

“My first time at Everyman and I was blown away by the fantastic customer service. As soon as we arrived we were wonderful greeted and shown a table before we waited for the screen to be open. A lovely guy with a beard and glasses came and sat to take our order - I couldn’t get over how incredibly friendly and polite he was. The service was worth every penny and the food was delicious.”

“Absolutely fabulous night watching the production of 'Dad's Army'. Characters were so true to TV adaptation. Singing WW2 songs in the audience really added to the ambience.”

“Great to see the contemporary dance performance 'shed' by the Northern Rascals dance company at the Partington. Such a great performance dealing with timeless issues in a contemporary way in a performance which really spoke to me. Wonderful to have touring acts perform at this venue (let's bring more if we can!) as well as traditional theatre performances by the players.”

“We went for Smugs one man show which was absolutely brilliant, it is a small theatre and worked well to give a really intimate feel. A lot going on behind the scenes to provide such a great show, for me it was everything the theatre should be, special mention for front of house staff who were lovely. Wish them ATB for the future.”

“I went there last night and I had a great time. Miranda Parker, who I worked with for Factory International last year and worked with her on Anton Benson's production of Aladdin at Queen Elizabeth hall last year. I have a Master's in Writing for Stage and Screen, and if anyone one to get involved they are doing 25 days of Oldham project in which you can make a short film, play, or poem and it will be shown a Shaw theatre before Christmas. So if you want to get involved in the industry here is a good start.”
