Tasted like real Eastern European cooked in the home, which is actually what the lovely host told us: all cooked by his wife. Unbelievable desert, nothing was too heavy, but rich and layered tastes. “✨Amazing Indian Vegetarian / Vegan Cafe✨ We visited for the first time today as my partner is obsessed with Chai at the moment. For drinks I had the biscoff coffee shake which was sensational, the coffee wasn’t too overpowering and the roast / blend choice was delicious. My partner had the home brewed Masala Chai which he thoroughly enjoyed, and the pot of tea he received was massive! (We stayed a bit longer just so he could finish it as it was that good) For mains we had the Indian breakfast muffin (vegan sausage, Indian spiced hash browns, and a bbq tamarind chutney) and the Chai Buckwheat pancakes which came with syrup and berries. I thoroughly enjoyed the sandwich, the chutney was amazing and really pulled everything together. Though I didn’t try the pancakes they were gone within minutes. Both me and my partner agreed portion sizes were bob on, we felt full without feeling overly lethargic. Though we didn’t have the opportunity to try them the cakes and Indian deli looked delicious. Our entire meal with drinks cost under £20 which I think is ridiculously reasonably priced considering the quality and portion sizes of the food and drink. (Not to mention the very quick service!) It is also worth noting they seemed to have an extensive ice cream range. All staff were super friendly, the woman serving us really seemed to care about our experience there and we were given customer service you can’t simply buy without there being a true passion for what she was serving. I would highly recommend dining here, and we look forward to visiting again.”

“Came here for our anniversary meal and it honestly was the best meal we have had! The staff were incredible throughout the night, and whilst we didn’t get their names, the young, blonde lady and the middle aged, olive skinned gentleman who served us a glass of bubbly each were amazing. The food is to die for and trust me you will not be going hungry when you leave. Thank you for making our night an unforgettable experience!”

“Extremely satisfied with this place! Family-run business, so you know they really take care of the place and the quality of their food. I got the option that lets you try 3 dishes in one meal, as well as their beef and vegetable momos. I highly recommend the broccoli stir fry! Serving was generous and I had to take home some of the food I wasn't able to finish. Not disappointed at all and would definitely go back if I get a chance.”

“Dishoom Spinningfields is one of my favourite restaurants in Manchester. When it first opened back in 2018, it was Dishoom’s first restaurant in Northern England, and since then they’ve set a remarkable standard of both food and service quality and certainly left me coming back for more. The interior is super impressive, cool and unique. Dishoom is based on the old Irani cafés in Bombay, and the interior is so large and feels like no other restaurant in the city. My go-to dishes are the Chicken Ruby with Basmati Rice and occasionally the Gunpowder Potatoes. The portion sizes are generous, and the rich spices of the curry are super good — it’s obvious they use great quality ingredients and seasonings. For drinks, again the selection is vast, with my favourites being the regular Chai and the Mango Lassi, which are both really good. There is always a staff member walking around topping up tap water, so you’ll never go thirsty. The pricing is a little high, but I feel it is worth it for the quality. Matka Holders can also roll a dice at the end of their meal to potentially earn everything for free, food and alcohol included, during certain times. This makes it all fun, being able to put the meal on the roll of a dice. Due to having an allergy, I can scan a QR code on the menu for the latest information, and all the staff members are well trained in dealing with allergies. They’re aware of coeliac disease and the danger of cross-contamination, and always keep my items separate from my friends’ when I dine in a group. Overall, this is one of the places to be in Manchester if you’re looking for good food with fantastic allergy awareness, overall ambience/vibes, food and service quality. It’s a place that you can go for a special occasion or even a quick lunch (although a lunch menu / meal-deal offer would make it even more enticing for sure!).”

“My son and my daughters birthday treat. We didn't book, thee restaurant was busy and we were asked to wait a few minutes whilst a table was being prepared. I ordered the pan fried Salmon, the better half ordered the chicken sizzler, the birthday boy ordered the bang bang and the birthday girl a Chicken burger (yes she's your typical 11 year old. The foodwas geat topped with excellent service from Asad. He treated the birthday twins to the best cheesecake I've ever tasted and a Brownie. Food 10/10 Service 10/10”

“I came in with my granddaughter last week, and I must say, the food was exceptional! Upon walking into the establishment, it felt as if we were transported to New York. As a proud American, I must say I felt right at home! My granddaughter, on the other hand—who is very hard to impress—took her time, but by the time the food arrived, her demeanor had changed. We ordered the Benny's Burger, the schnitzel wrap, and the sweet potato chips. I have to mention that my granddaughter did not make the life of the young lady at the till easy. With the number of notes my granddaughter gave for her schnitzel wrap, I was sure she would be laughed at by our server. Instead, we were met with kind responses, smiles, and absolutely no issues. The food came out very quickly, and all three items we ordered were presented exquisitely! Every note was followed perfectly. The service was probably the best I have experienced in this otherwise abysmal country. I come to England at least twice a year from New York to visit my children and grandkids. I try to give each one time alone with me so I can give each the attention they deserve. My son had mentioned that there was a splendid restaurant I had to try; he has ordered Uber delivery from you a few times. I truly recommend the dine-in experience! I will definitely be returning the next time I come to visit the kids. (I do apologize, as I had intended to share the photographs that were taken. But sadly, only my granddaughter took photos—she has the better phone and therefore the better camera—and she seems to be taking her time sending them to me.)”

Both the dinner and breakfast restaurant staff were also lovely, and the food was very good. The location is convenient, making it easy to get around the city. We had booked connecting rooms and received exactly what we requested — the rooms were spacious, bright, and comfortable. A great choice for families and anyone visiting Manchester.”

“Had an amazing time at Hawksmoor Manchester. The team’s hospitality was spot-on — friendly, genuine, and made us feel really well looked after. Started the evening with a few cocktails at the bar, which were fantastic. The steak was the real highlight — perfectly cooked medium rare, juicy, and full of flavour. From initial meetings with both David & Alan we knew we’d come to the right place. From helping to answer our questions, to choosing key pieces and delivery, the service was flawless!! We’ve shopped with Bo Concept on more than one occasion now and are never disappointed- our Bulldog Maggie also approves of what is now one her own outside seats (she can vouch for the comfort!). “We visited MyLahore for lunch today for the very first time, and our experience was made absolutely exceptional thanks to our server, Nadeem. From the moment we were seated, he was warm, welcoming, and attentive in the most genuine way. We both ordered the Chicken Dum Biryani, and when Nadeem brought the dishes over, he took the time to carefully cut into the dums for us. The moment he lifted the lid, the aroma was incredible—and the biryani inside was beautifully cooked. Perfectly tender chicken, fragrant rice, and so full of flavour. His presentation made the experience feel even more special. Nadeem’s professionalism, kindness, and pride in the food truly elevated our first visit. “My boyfriend and I visit this restaurant every couple of months as a treat. This is by far my favourite restaurant in Manchester, the food is amazing, the actual cooking of the food is a really fun experience but most importantly the service is phenomenal. I’ve visited about 8 times now and have never waited more than 10 seconds for service, the waitresses and waiters are so on top of everything and very helpful for suggestions and how long to cook each item of food. We usually spend between £30-£50 between the two of us and have a loyalty stamp card that we use everytime we visit for a free item! Cannot recommend enough!”

“My experience at Las Iguanas was truly exceptional! From the moment we walked in, the welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff made us feel right at home. The food was incredible – the buritto with steak and chicken was perfectly cooked and bursting with flavour, and the presentation was beautiful. We can't wait to return to try more! “Great spot for always having at least one gluten free beer on tap, usually a couple. I'm a big fan of when they've got locals like Brightside. Generally a good atmosphere whenever I come. Sometimes a lot busier than others, probably event related as it's very close to a number of live venues. That said, I can often find a seat in the second, quieter room pictured below. I would appreciate GF food options, but I understand this is exceptionally difficult considering they do pizzas. The music is almost never particularly loud, which means you can always converse. The only setback would be that some of the beers can be pricey, but this is absolutely to be expected given they are quality craft beers rather than mass products, and I say this is one of the few spots where it's worth it”
