“We’ve been here twice recently because it’s just so good! The first time I had the Turkish eggs with halloumi and sausage, then the second time I went for the chicken and pancakes, both were amazing. One visit was around 11am on a Saturday and there was about a 15-minute wait, but definitely worth it. The other time we went a bit later and got a table straight away. You can book ahead, but they also keep some tables for walk-ins. Staff are nice and friendly and really good to accommodate allergies too”

“Now we’re talking. La Collina was a treat - they have a short, simple home-made lunch menu. I had gnocchi with Bolognaise sauce. Perfect portion size. Coffee was delicious and forced myself to have a pistachio cannoli alongside it. Matt the chef is a focused on flavour and dishes with a twist - you can taste it. Nice space to work from too. Back soon. BACK AGAIN: La Collina is a hidden gem. The menu is developing from daytime only into an evening offering too. Matt, the creator and chef is passionate about the menu. New menu dropping in mid August. Go there.”

“Saturday 8th June 2024 Today, I had a good fortune to be in this grand little real ale micropub This pub had some excellent quaint beers on from small breweries. There were good local followers of real ale beers. The staff/owners were really good and knew their real ales. There was also a smashing quiet real ale outdoors drinking area at the rear of the pub. The best real ale pub in Hazel Grove by far”

“The Royal is an hidden gem the food is outstanding all home cooked, and excellent value for money. The menu caters for all, the Sunday lunches are amazing all freshly prepared and if you don’t have room for your dessert you can take it home. The homemade pies a choice of Cheese or Meat are freshly made by Alison are a worth a try they are delicious. It is well worth a visit and the prices are extremely reasonable. The staff go above and beyond they are so friendly especially Alison & Nicola.”

“Amazing food, great service and unusual idea, all you can eat steak with the system of controlling when you wish to be served again by flipping the card from green to red. We visited last night for the first time and left really full and impressed. This is definitely not our last visit,the next time will probably come for bottomless service so drinks could flow as well. It's not cheap but it is worth the money. Everyone from the staff was very friendly and welcoming, the whole experience was just unforgettable including the deco and music. Thank you for having us and making our anniversary so special. “We had some amazing food here on the 25/11/25. The restaurant hasn’t been open long so the venue was pretty empty however it was a Tuesday night. We will certainly be back in the new year.”

“Hats off to the team at Toms Table, we booked a table for our anniversary and had a fantastic meal, starters of pork fritter and I had the cheese soufflé, then we both had Sirloin steak that was perfectly cooked. We were too full for dessert but we received a lovely little complementary cake with happy anniversary written in chocolate sauce which was a lovely touch and totally unexpected.”

“This place is five ⭐ stars!! Afternoon event for a Holy Communion! Food, atmosphere and staff all amazing. A sense that they all enjoy their work!! Very clean and probably the best breakfast food I’ve had in years! Perfection!! Value for money also was a 5/5!!!! My son who has autism enjoyed his food and ate it so that’s a big compliment!!! “All the food is very delicious and tasty. We like kubaidah and Naan and qabli Palau. The meat is very tender juicy and delicious. The atmosphere is cool here. It's not a big restaurant so it's always full or even fully booked. You need to book it in advance to secure the table here.”

Service was really good, especially for a busy Saturday evening. Ambience was lovely, we sat in the glass roomed area, needed to put the heaters on but was warm enough. This is a really well- run restaurant and nicely appointed, creating a really pleasant environment to catch up over the well presented and really tasty food and well- chosen wine list. The steak, carbonara and lamb are all just delightful. Not the cheapest, but thoroughly worth it. I'll be returning regularly.”
