“Meticulously prepared food /knowledgeable staff and super friendly. I would recommend everything especially the festive Dhal and rice/ sprout bhajis/ Padron pakora korma/ The world famous okra fries-superb!! Also the classic Burl Puri and the mung bean chatpata/ chole saag and vada pav are all stunning genuine delights. As a regular of bundobust in Manchester I cannot recommend them highly enough.”

“I always make an effort to visit here, it’s my favourite pub and well worth the 45 minute train journey! Nice staff and they always have decent beers on tap which are always changing and have a lot of bottles to choose from as well. There are board games and snacks too for those who fancy that.”

“Wow! We came here today after originally planning to only go for a hot drink after our walk. We looked at the menu and then had a little walk around but something was calling us back. We decided to sit outside and grab a menu - the food smelt absolutely unreal so we chose to move inside and order food and drinks. Best chicken club I’ve ever had!! Very friendly service and the place was nice and busy which just proves it’s a very successful food business”

“Went to Piccadilly Garden with friends then just searched cafe on Google map, found this cafe and walked in We ordered Benedict and French toast, the Benedict is surprisingly nice, its wish sweet potato hash browns mixed with bacon bits and red pepper. I think it’s an interesting combination, I never see anything similar in other brunch spots. I personally don’t eat red peppers, this combination even caught my stomach. And I think the Holland sauce is quite nice, better than other places I’ve tried. Classic french toast is okay, normal I’d say. Also ordered berries mocktails it tastes fresh I like it, £5 is very reasonable Have to shout out to Tyler for the great service, very lovely and considerate. We had a whole excellent brunch experience here, and would always love to come back”

“The food was beautiful! Really really good. We sat downstairs as there were lots of tables reserved (I'd recommend booking a table if you can) especially if you are visiting on a weekend. The food was really delicious. Dog friendly as well which is a bonus and we even got a sausage for our doggo! Highly recommend!!”

“Great music (classic rock) and lovely bar staff. Good beer selection with 3 cask, a ton of keg including cider and usually a fruity sour too. Memorabilia on the wall. Sundays are £3/pint of cask.”

“Came in for lunch and it was lovely. The steak pie was delicious and my dad had the shepherds pie and he said that it was delicious as well. The service was quick and our server Tom was very friendly and helpful. Would definitely come again and will recommend it to our friends and family.”

“First time visited. I'll be back!!!!! Lovely atmosphere and the staff are brilliant. Very informative, friendly, and happy. The building has a rich history, and I think it is either the 1st or 2nd oldest pub in England - I may have this wrong, but it's a beautiful building. .....and the cider, oh my goodness!! The rhubarb and ginger cider is like fruit juice. I think it was 7%, but so yummy, and very more-ish -BE CAREFUL. Can't wait to go back. I've put 5* for food, it was the most tasty pastie.”

“Great venue for stand up comedy, not so big that you lose the feeling of being part of the show. Good slope on the seating so the view from further back is still ok. Comfy seats, easy to get in and out, lots of parking nearby.”

“I would 100% recommend this place. £15 for a 3 course dinner is great value for money. The Yorkshire pudding starter was great. Recommend that! The rump steak was tender and lovely. Perfectly cooked. The burger was great with a plate full of chips too! If I was to be picky. The deserts could improve a little. The brownie was more like a dense cake. And wasn’t gooey, but was chocolatey. The sticky toffee pudding didn’t taste much of toffee. It needed more toffee sauce. However, I must state. Still nice and great value for money. I would go back and I look forward to as well.”

“Went here last night for a family meal and I have got to say it was the best steak that I’ve had for a very long time and it was cooked to perfection. All of the food was stunning, mahou on draft and the service was exceptional. Very polite, attentive and they went the extra mile to do everything they could do to accommodate my mum in a wheelchair! Will come back time and time again!”
