“Nicola provided a buffet for my nephew's 18th on Saturday, I have issues with food, as in I am so so fussy, extremely fussy, I never eat food at a buffet, 1. bread is buttered 2. The cheese is usually grated 3. I don't eat meat, 4. I don't eat anything with pastry, i.e Pies etc cakes Nicola's food was amazing, most of it I could not eat ( that is my issue) the cheese board and crackers was lush, the salad was fresh as was the snacks, I will be using Nicola for any party's we have, hopefully she does Vegan, my granddaughter is only vegan due to medical issues, so the rest of the family did. sorry for the long post,”

“Sue & the team provided a lovely buffet my mum's 70th birthday, plenty of selection. Their service is efficient and will go ubove & beyond to any requests ie dietary, selection, delivery etc. Also followed by calls to check everything is ok etc. Sue takes pride in providing the best customer service. I would certainly recommend. Every guest commented on the quality and variety of the food provided. Thankyou x”

“Manchester Road Chippy is an absolute gem! The food is always delicious and perfectly cooked, but what really makes the experience stand out are Lydia and Phoebe. They are fantastic at their jobs—friendly, efficient, and always with a smile that brightens your visit. Their dedication and great service truly deserve recognition, and honestly, they should both get a raise for the amazing work they do. If you're in the area, this chippy is a must-visit!”

“Bought spring rolls to take away. Friendly and quick service. They have a bar right next to the area you wait for your takeaway so easy to have a drink whilst you’re waiting which is a real treat.”

“I only popped in for a brew whilst I was waiting for my tyres to be done at Halfords. It's was quite, allowed me to get a bit of work done and had a brew. The lady that was there was lovely, really welcoming and checked I was ok frequently, which was sweet.”

“The best fish ’n’ chips in the area. PERIOD. Anybody saying the Kingfisher on Parrin Lane is better — and the other comments — listen up. Yes, they are super friendly at the Kingfisher. They also close at 8:30, not the 9 p.m. this one does. And you can’t complain that this no longer takes card payments because neither does the Kingfisher, but this at least allows bank transfer — so basically it takes card payments. Also, saying it’s expensive? Last night I got a LARGE FISH & CHIPS with a pot of GRAVY and a pot of MUSHY-PEAS (both of which are far superior to Kingfisher’s) for £11.20. I think that’s very fair. I’m posting the pics here so you can see how amazing they are — and that’s after going to Lidl and walking 10 minutes home. Hot, delicious, and not greasy. 10/10. Give them a try at least once so you KNOW for yourself. :)”

“Had a meal for two last night. Well worth the money. Chose keema madras nicest I've ever tasted and i can moan if it's not right. Second choice chicken tikķa masala beautiful a little bit too much coconut for me but was lovely. All in all the food well worth the money. Definitely ordering again x”

I sneezed once and a tissue appeared out of thin air. Now, the food? It was okay. But the service, oh my it was exceptional. Faith was new but great 10/10.”

“I had heard good things about this place from a friend and as I was travelling home from work my son amd I decided to swing in. We were made to feel very welcome, the staff are really lovely and the food was top notch. Needless to say we left feeling very full and happy. “So enjoyed this our first visit and far exceeded our expectations- easy and free to park by simple registering your vehicle at the console by the bar. Spacious, well lit, beautifully set out with windows offering views of the canal basin ,its boats and nice canal walks in both directions. Friendly and very welcoming staff. Plenty of tables inside and on the terraces outside. Lovely atmosphere and ambiance and includes historic photos of canal and boating life. Dog and child/ family friendly. Usy on our mid lunchtime mid week visitGreat selection on menu and reasonable prices and such delicious food ( great coffee too) Will certainly visit again soon and likely do so regularly from hence. “Read some bad reviews on here, but we were very pleasantly surprised. No gloop, just very fresh veg/crunchy and decent portions. No oily mess. Tender chicken in plentiful amounts and good portion of ginger. Excellent really. I nearly popped back in to say how good it was, especially for mass produced food. Probably on high price end of medium, but very satisfied”

“Don’t expect more than what you’re paying for, but for the price is more than enough. The food is good, tasty, the portions are big and the price is cheap. It doesn’t take too long and is better than many cheap places from around. We always order the rice and the salt and pepper chips are the best. The wonton soup is really really nice too and the sweet chili chicken is the best. The price is usually never more than 15 pounds. We also ordered nuggets for my niece, she is a child and loved them. They’re not very tasty but they are nice.”

“Visited Spice Zone in Walkden twice and both times excellent. Food is tasty, fresh and hot excellent service from start to finish from taking order to collecting all. Turnaround is quick. 20mins max First time was for chicken tikka kebab wraps which are value for money, flame grilled chicken meal also value for money and delicious. Wraps were packed out and chips in the meal were very good fries Second time round mushroom bargee as a side dish, main:chicken tikka khumbi dupiaza and onion rice along with chapati's which my partner and I shared it was more than enough it's a must to try this takeaway excellent value and all freshly prepared on site in a very clean hygienic kitchen. Staff professional and very pleasant and I would highly recommend. Go on try this takeaway support a local eatery business you will not be disappointed,menu offers a vast selection and meets all tastes.”
