“First time here.After hearing all the hype we decided to go for my birthday. Sunday lunch was amazing. Big plate full and extremely tasty”

“We overall love this bar and have been coming on and off for years. We first visited many years ago before they installed air con, and our complaint then was how warm it got when busy, the adding of the air con is brilliant. In recent days, we've become regulars. Where to start with the praise? Great vibe, musicals on the screens and lovely clean toilets. Lee, the doorman, is brilliant. A model bouncer and doorman. Last year, we unfortunately had an experience with a straight man who became aggressive to us and we told the bar staff who got Lee, whom proceeded to kick him out with 0 hassle to us and made us feel safe. This is our only bad experience in 5+ years of coming here as the place is great. The cocktails are inventive, delicious and bright to look at. Their new movie night Mondays is a great initiative and their changing boards of cocktails often based on musicals that have come to the city, are brilliant. The bar staff are so smiley, pleasant and love a laugh. One remembers my order every time which is special to us to be remembered. Our only complaint now, is that they're so busy some nights we never have anywhere to sit. But we're so happy they're full and business is booming!”

“We were looked after by Felix who was very attentive and friendly. Food was delicious and we were kindly given christmas bubbly and a happy birthday tiramisu as it was an 80th birthday celebration. Will definitely return. Perfect venue for pre bridgewater Hall meal as its literally a 3 minute walk and there's a reasonably priced small ncp car park opposite ginos too.”

“Absolutely love this place. The food is second to none, the cocktails are amazing and the staff are extremely helpful polite and quick. I love the decor, it creates a lovely atmosphere. Very warm and welcoming place, with great live music almost daily. Plus the prices are fair, All round brilliant and definitely recommend.”

“I had a great stay at the Crowne Plaza Manchester. The rooms were modern, clean, and really comfortable — exactly what you want after a long day. The staff were friendly and welcoming throughout, which made the whole experience even better. Breakfast was absolutely spot on with plenty of choice and everything cooked perfectly. A special mention goes to the reception team, who were extremely helpful and informative. Nothing was too much trouble, and they made check-in and check-out smooth and stress-free. Overall, a fantastic stay. I’d definitely return and highly recommend the hotel to anyone visiting Manchester.”

“Having stayed at the Treehouse London I was looking forward to trying the newer and larger Treehouse Manchester. I decided to book the hotel as value was good at time of booking and location next to shopping centre and short walk to Aviva Studios was ideal. The room was very comfortable, large and well appointed with amenities needed for my short stay. Wider hotel had lots to offer as well with well equipped gym, plenty of spots to dine and drink and even a movie theatre. Will certainly be considering a future stay and visit to this hotel.”

“Wow! This place reminds me of walking in to the likes of Pacha in Spain for the first time, the music pumping and the smoke acting as a barrier between the real world and club land. Tech house was the flavour of the night, and my god it tasted good! What an epic deviation of the norm, I could've literally thrown shapes all night in here! Could this place be the venue that puts Preston back on the clubland map? I think so!!!”

“Great service, Was a little disappointed at first as what we were served did not look like the image on menu (in relation to size) however was immediately offered more- which resulted in us taking some back home. Dined with younger daughter who has the sushi bug and was a pleasant overall experience. Cheers guys”

“The food here is very nice and tasty. The portion is everything, I really enjoyed myself. This is the best authentic Nigerian food I've tasted since my 3 years in this country. Normally, I prefer to cook my own food because the few I've tried don't really worth it, so I give up. Yesterday I had a lazy day and just couldn't cook so I decided to check out this restaurant and see. I wasn't disappointed at all, I enjoyed the food. Had to ask to see who made the food because the taste was everything, the amala was soft, the protein was well seasoned and tender. The gbegiri, ewedu and omi obe was superb. I'm so happy, would visit more so i highly recommend.”

“Usually call in after work on Fridays as part of a walk around the pubs in Ashton, i like this pub good friendly atmosphere the landlandy is always polite snd welcoming never seen any trouble and never had a problem. I would recomend it .”

“Well what can I say? When we arrived, we were greeted by a friendly lady at the reception! She got us to check in early at 12:45pm. My brother and I were impressed by the quality and service. Soon we were given the key card to our rooms. The moment I walked in and seeing from pictures from google, I assumed the rooms to be tiny, but it’s adequately sized, and allows enough room for manoeuvrability. The room was clean throughout and hotel staff consistently came cleaned and changed sheets and towels and what not! The nights I spent were without disturbances! The rooms temperature was great all round and it didn’t affect my stay at all! However, my nitpicks only were, the TV that didn’t have enough channels and nothing interested me. Wish it had a movie catalogue. Another thing was when we left to do shopping, my room wasn’t refilled with coffee, so I just had the one last stick and also tea as well, but my brother was nice enough to share his coffee with me. Overall, I enjoyed my stay, it was well worth the money I spent and usually I stay at hotels, but joining Hilton honours, I did for the incredible offers should I wish to book a hotel at an early check in wherever I am!”

“YHA Manchester is an example of how a good hostel doesn't have to cost a lot. Large, bright and airy room for four people. The beds were solid, the only thing missing was curtains on the bunk beds for more privacy, but that's a minor detail. The bathroom was a good size, clean and looked new. The common areas are large and beautiful. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The location near a train and tram station is great for a city the size of Manchester. The hostel has a view of part of the river canal, and having breakfast with this view was a bonus. I would definitely stay at this hostel again”

“I had this place in mind for months before deciding to visit here on a date night. We booked a table easily online (via their website) and the pictures there lived up to the real thing. The deco in this place is amazing to create the right atmosphere for any occasion.... Date night, drinks with friends at the weekend or during the week. The staff were very friendly and the food.... THE FOOD! It was delicious! And reasonably priced too!”

“Sanjay is a great landlord, best prices in Ashton and the beer is nice, always has deals on and a good selection to choose from. It's cash only but it reflects in the low prices. Fantastic bar staff who are always friendly, Anita is a lovely women. 2 clean pool tables that are well looked after, sports always on including the football. Doesn't open after 10pm and never has any idiots in as the landlord has no place or time for it.”

“What a fantastic venue with welcoming and friendly staff. As soon as you walk in it feels like your own local as it’s so welcoming which is rare in a city. Music on Saturday afternoon was really fantastic - I'll defo be back here next time I’m in Manchester”

“My family of 5 stayed there Friday to Saturday this week. The staff are amazing and so friendly I have 3 ASD children and the staff were lovely with them all. As we were checking in the lady gave each of them some cookies. The beds are so comfy and I'd paid for breakfast which can I say fantastic such choice which is perfect for my children as they can be hard to cater for. As we were about to leave the restaurant one of the male staff came over and gave my younger 2 a Terry's chocolate orange each. I would definitely stay there again and can't rate it highly.”

“We stayed at this hotel as a night out delayed Valentine’s Day. The hotel is very tastefully decorated with comfortable surroundings. The room we stayed in was spacious with a nice bath tub and freestanding rainforest shower. The bed was extremely large and very comfortable however, my only gripe with the whole stay is that the pillows were quite thick and uncomfortable, we ended up getting cricked necks. When making the booking, I mentioned that it was our first night out in 6+ months since my mother in law fell ill and we were celebrating Valentine’s Day a few days later and the staff left us some chocolates, balloons and rose petals scattered around the room. It really made a nice touch to our stay!”
