“Today I purchased a bracelet from The Arcade Shopping Centre, Ashton U Lyne. I was greeted cheerfully by a lovely young man. He was polite, professional and extremely helpful. The way he presented the goods helped me decide on my purchase. It wasn’t expensive but I felt it didn’t matter if I was spending a few pounds or a few thousand pound I was still treated like a valued customer. I would just like to say well done with your choice of staff. Good luck to this young man with his future career. The bracelet was worth every penny.”

“A lovely traditional park with lots to see and do. The park has good play areas for the little ones which includes a water fountain play area in the summer months. A lovely coffee shop in the centre of the park with an ice cream van present near the play areas for most of the warmer months. There are also bowling greens, a duck pond and aviary with various types of birds to look at. Worth a visit if you're in the area and an excellent way to kill a few hours for free.”

“We arrived at Bean & Bun just as they were closing, but the staff were very welcoming and accommodating; we didn’t feel rushed. We had a nice meal that was made fresh, and to our tastes. Food and drinks were good value for money. The friendly staff made us feel relaxed and made our visit very enjoyable, thank you.”

“If you’ve heard the term ‘cheap as chips’ then this applies to the Chicken Station. Great food, unbelievable cheap prices and when you see uniformed staff from ‘Havana’ (which is a highly rated nearby fried Chicken takeaway shop) in the queue ordering food to eat, you know the food must be good! Since Havana opened, the menu was updated and fresh chicken dipped burgers are now served. My favourite though is the Apna style pizza…it’s delicious with generous amount of toppings at 1/4 of the price of a pizza from Pizza Hut delivery a few doors away. Overall, excellent menu and very reasonably priced :-)”

“I had the most incredible dining experience at The Roaches Lock on Sunday! The food was absolutely delicious. The service was outstanding throughout the meal. The waitress kept checking in with us to see if we required more drinks or needed anything else. I can't wait to come back and try more items from their menu. “Usually call in after work on Fridays as part of a walk around the pubs in Ashton, i like this pub good friendly atmosphere the landlandy is always polite snd welcoming never seen any trouble and never had a problem. I would recomend it .”

“Been twice recently, once for breakfast once for a carvery. Both time the food was fantastic, hot, fresh and tasty. The chef came over both times making sure everything was OK and had a chat when we had finished our meals, bar staff are lovely and welcoming too. “I have to say that this store has the nicest security guard you could ever meet. I asked if I could use the phone to call a taxi, as I didn’t have mine, and the security guard not only allowed me to use his phone. But actually left me with the phone telling me to use it to get hold of anyone that I needed. Just a very genuinely decent young guy who absolutely reminded me some good people out there.”

“The staff is polite and nice, I went for my 2nd ear piercing here and the lady who did it was nice too. It hurt a bit but i got over it quickly. I would reccomend for piercings but some of the products here is overpriced for me but i gave 5 stars because of the staff.”
