This place has been listed as one of the top 10 city centre barbers & rightly so. The lady i was booked in with was nothing short of excellent. She took her time to listen & discuss what i was looking for an communicated throughout to get the best cut for me. Dr Seedat went above and beyond and not only filled my chipped tooth,but worked on adjacent teeth others to make them more symmetrical (before and after photos) & got rid of a stain I've had since I was 14 (from braces). With such wide variety of services on offer BP checks, flu/covid jab service etc they give service which imo goes above and beyond any competitors locally. The drivers are superb, they are polite and never rude etc. Despite a recent review I am astounded because this certainly is NOT the service myself and many others have experienced EVER. Aiaz and his team endeavour to get your meds even Aiaz has himself delivered meds when prescriptions have come in late from GP service. A true community gem”

Our vet really went above and beyond, she took such care with my dog and took the time to go through everything with me. “Freddie our SharPei x Staffie is a very strong boy and can be a bit of a handful as he is not keen on getting his nails trimmed. He will struggle to get his muzzle off (not to bite but doesn't like to be restricted). Debbie was very calm and patient with him throughout the appointment. Also gave us some useful tips on nail maintenance. Very reasonable cost.”

“I can’t recommend Phil enough. He’s been walking our dog Winnie for several years now, and our beloved Treacle before that. Winnie is always up at the window in the morning waiting for her bestie, or uncle Phil as he is affectionately known in our household. When he’s here she’ll bark then go zooming out to him, helping herself into his car most times, tail going like the clappers. She always has the most fun and although she loves dunking and getting into anything gross and dirty, Phil makes sure she comes back to us in a reasonable state!”

Periodically the quality is checked at mums house and gives her confidence that she’s getting an excellent job. “Love this pub inside and out. It’s got so much history and charm. The building used to be the Manchester & Salford Children’s Mission back in Victorian times, where they ran a kitchen for kids and the homeless. Now it’s this brilliant underground pub, and you can still see the old glazed brick walls when you head downstairs, which just adds to the atmosphere. I’d love to see more of that story told inside. There are a few old photos up, but no info with them... a bit of context would make it even better. Doesn’t put me off going though, it’s still one of my favourite spots in Manchester.”
