Tasted like real Eastern European cooked in the home, which is actually what the lovely host told us: all cooked by his wife. Unbelievable desert, nothing was too heavy, but rich and layered tastes. “Last night, I called in for a takeaway pizza. There was a tiny issue with the timing as the place was so busy but it was absolutely nothing to concern myself about. But ,because of this, the young lady serving me, Victoria, could not have been more helpful. I left wood fire smoke with a smile on my face only get home to eat the usual delicious pizza that I always order. If you have never been to this restaurant, then it’s time you did. I wholeheartedly recommend it as the pizzas are the best in town and staff are lovely.”

The service was fantastic from start to finish – the staff were so kind, attentive, and especially thoughtful in accommodating a disabled person my mum, which made the evening even more enjoyable and comfortable. The atmosphere was lively and welcoming, although on a Friday evening it was a little on the noisy side – but that’s only because the place is clearly popular and full of people enjoying themselves. Overall, it was a wonderful evening, and we left very happy. We’ll definitely be coming back again.”

“Fantastic restaurant serving freshly cooked Palestinian food of a high standard and with lovely warm service that is attentive and efficient. We’ve eaten at many Middle Eastern restaurants and this is one the best we’ve been to. The Knafeh is excellent and ends a wonderful meal. We also loved the freshly squeezed orange juice and strawberry, mango and pineapple smoothie! If only they had Palestinian ice cream!”

“I'd highly recommend eating at the Clink, the food was great and it was for a good cause. We would visit again if we're in the area. Perfect if you're visiting Quarry Bank. We had a lovely Sunday dinner here, with the lovely veg and roasties. The charred mackeral starter was marvellous, as was the panna cotta. The staff were pleasant, with great service and reasonable prices. Good toilet facilties, including disabled loo. Access ramp in place for wheeled entry, terrain mostly flat with parking located near the entrance”

“This is without a doubt my favourite restaurant. So far, it is the only place I have found outside of Italy to serve fresh, authentic Italian foods. My partner is Italian, and hence a harsh critic. Casa Italia has won his approval and we both come here regularly. It is clear that the people posting negative reviews about frozen food have never eaten here. There is an open kitchen where you can watch the chef cooking delicious food, all from fresh ingredients. Service is attentive, the atmosphere welcoming, and the food exceptional. I would recommend anything on the menu. But for me, two stand out dishes are the polpette Di carne (beef meatballs with a cheese centre) and the formaggi fusi (a bubbling dish of melted Italian cheeses)”

“First time here and it didnt disappoint! Great service and great food! Steak was cooked to perfection, corn ribs were yummy and the half rack of ribs were super tasty! Had a chocolate milkshake for dessert too! Overall good value for money! Car park gets a bit hectic at busy times but still seemed to be spaces available.”

The entire atmosphere and the ' nothing is too much' attitude the staff had really will have us returning and highly recommending this place. To top it all off the food was amazing!! The mix grill platter is a must! The lamb karahi was perfect, the naans were fresh and soft and the kids even loved their burgers! Something for everyone. Highly recommend.”

The rice is cooked perfectly and smells so good with spices like saffron. The lamb underneath is super soft and falls apart easily—it practically melts in your mouth! The sweet carrots and raisins mixed in taste fantastic and make the dish complete. It's truly delicious and comforting food. ​The grilling here is also top-notch. The Grilled Chicken and all the Kababs are cooked perfectly. They have a great smoky taste and a little crispiness on the outside, but the meat inside is still incredibly juicy and tender. They use great spices, and every bite is full of real, traditional flavor. ​And let's talk about the service—it's honestly the best service I've ever had. The staff are so nice, professional, and genuinely happy to help. “Wow what can i say we had our wedding here 2 weeks ago and it really was the perfect venue. Lucy was amazing and really helpful during the planning and on the day everything went exactly as it should all the staff were amazing on the day! jake was so helpful the night before accomadating a big party for food and was amazing on the wedding day too. John our master of ceromonies was fabulous too. All guests commented on how lovely there room was. We used the Delamere suite to get ready and for our wedding night and it was perfect. “The Wilmslow Lodge is in a good location,quiet and just minutes from the town centre.We had a nice ground floor room with a good comfortable bed, great TV and it's just feet away from our pub/restaurant.The carpark is just outside the door and there's plenty of space.An ideal place to stay for a great weekend away.”

“Very good service from the waiters. The food is pretty good. The fried chicken has a lovely coating and is very crispy with very juicy meat underneath. The coconut rice is fragrant with coconut but also it is not sticky. A very interesting texture I don't usually have. The sambal taste amazing. Lovely flavours of the anchovies. The chicken satay was the best I had so far compared to the supermarket stuff. Proper char and the peanut sauce taste great. I'm really happy that the sambal was not spicy not because I can't tolerate spice but it's because I can taste the flavours. Not a criticism but the price is very high. So if you got the money, go for it.”
