The decor is truly unique. From Only Fools and Horses quotes and pictures to old hats, guitars and vinyls up on the walls. You'll struggle to not spot something new each time you visit. The staff are always friendly and helpful. All in all, my favourite way to start the weekend is a Jester's breakfast!”

And would you believe it, I had my folding bike with me, quite the conundrum at most places, but not for Gayle. She whisked it away and secured it without so much as a second thought. Each one came with a tea and coffee set, a small gesture that speaks volumes. The comfort of being able to brew your own beverage whenever the need strikes is something I cherish deeply. And for those who indulge in tobacco's embrace, fear not. The hotel has a smoking area at the back, complete with a canopy to shield you from the elements. They understand that some needs don't adhere to the clock's whims. But the pièce de résistance, the crowning jewel of the Oak House experience, is Gayle's tour. She takes each guest around upon arrival, ensuring that no one feels lost. It's a personal touch, a sign of care and consideration that you just don't get everywhere. “my friend & 1 visited Sunday 27th July we meet every few months & like to try a new venue we're 10 years into this now and we both agreed this was one of the best Sunday lunches we've had. “Amazing food, been in Northampton now for just over a year and struggled to find a decent takeaway that we enjoyed, however with here it was great . I had a Adana kofte which was perfectly seasoned but also had great portions . My partner had the vegetarian mousakka and was also delighted. Furthermore when the order arrived the delivery driver was very kind and polite , overall fantastic experience and great food , definitely will be ordering from here again and trying the restaurant post covid.”

“I tried Shawarma, Kuzi, and chicken there a long time ago; however, they recently(I think) installed a Chicken Shawayah machine, and the Full Chicken Shawayah is absolutely delicious. As a Shawayah lover, this is a rare opportunity in Northampton to enjoy proper Chicken Shawayah. The staff is also very quick and friendly. I would love to go back again!”

“We stayed at the Aviator in August and loved just about everything about it. We received a very nice welcome and all of the staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was very spacious, well appointed and comfortable. It was also quiet. The art deco fittings and decor thought the hotel are beautiful and very well preserved. Food was very good. The wine was very reasonably priced and the two locally brewed beers were dangerously moreish! Set beside a not too busy flying club the grass area outside of the hotel was an ideal spot for a pre dinner drink. This hotel is great value for money and well worth a visit.”

“Awesome pub with friendly staff. The land-lady laid on a buffet for my wife's birthday party which we held in the lounge area. We had the whole lounge to ourselves and the hire was free (takings at the bar). Highly recommend. They have great bands on there as well. Food is fab too.”

Third meal we have had from Spot On and they have all been excellent. Perfectly happy with the entire experience from shop service, to home delivery and the range of food on offer.”
