“Over 2 years ago, we got married at this location. The day was perfect. The staff were helpful throughout the planning process and the day itself went without issue. 2 years later, we came back, now with our son, for our 2 year Anniversary. Again, the staff were extremely professional, the food was worth more than what they charged, and, to help us celebrate, some items were made free for us. I cannot say just how amazing every aspect of the Woodland Manor Hotel is and the staff are amazing”

“Lovely setting and great service. Food was fabulous and even for myself being a celiac non gluten eater they were very helpful, helping me choose items of the menu and checking on things with the chef. Bought bread rolls out for our other party members quickly followed by a non gluten bread roll for myself. Portion. Size of food is big and delicious. Not cheap but worth it.”

“On a corporate level we work with The Kingfisher regularly in terms of booking meetings, corporate events and bedrooms. I can not rate Chris and the events/reservations team highly enough. They provide exceptional levels of service, never let us down and always go out of their way to exceed our expectations and ensure we return. Liaising with them is always seamless and effortless - nothing is too much trouble for them. If you're looking for an event location in Bedford please do consider The Kingfisher - their location on the river is especially lovely in the summer. Chef is great too - the food has always been very good - even when catering for large numbers. Just the bedrooms that are starting to look a little tired and in need of a bit of investment - but are more than perfectly acceptable and are always immaculately clean with high quality bedding and linen. However, this does not stop me recommending The Kingfisher enough!”

The thermal spa session was incredibly relaxing and definitely a highlight of our visit. The restaurant offered a great choice of food, and everything was excellent value for money. “I have been a tenant with rentanyproperty for a few years. I can definitely say their service is outstanding. I locked myself out this afternoon. I contacted them on Sunday afternoon to see if they can let me know. To my surprise within an hour of calling them they managed to let me in. I am so pleased my landlord chose them to manage the property and to add as they are local they were able to let me in despite it being a Sunday. “Mostly fantastic, the selection of restaurants is great, the lodges have a very nice social area and good facilities. The only thing I found to be an issue was that the Subtropical Swimming Paradise isn’t quite up to the level of Elveden Forest’s in my opinion, as it lacks a saltwater lagoon (mostly negated by the lazy river being saltwater) although there being more large flumes is great, and I get that this can’t be easily changed as it is a central feature. Overall a great Center Parcs resort.”

“We’ve been to four other Featherdown sites and this one is the best. Great place for mountain bike rides along grassy bridleways. But also useful to have bikes to get from tent to farm shop/animals/charging point.”

“I came here for a conference and the facilities are absolutely amazing. The little "cafe" is a brilliant idea, stocking sandwiches, wraps, pastries, cakes and other snacks so that we never went hungry. A wide range of drinks available, coffees, teas, flavoured waters both still and sparkling. This is all free for attendants, so anyone attending your events here is going to walk away very happy. We were also happily surprised with the three course dinner, while served similar to a school meal the food itself was of reasonable quality. I skipped the soup starter to have a Steak & Ale Pie with Chips and a Raspberry & White Chocolate Cheesecake for dessert. Both were similar to pub quality, rather than a restaurant, but there were certainly no complaints from anyone on our table.”

“We've absolutely loved our four night stay at Northend Farm Glamping. The tents are beautifully laid out with ample space around. We took our own tarp tent which was beneficial as an extra sun shade and rain cover. The kids loved exploring round the site but the dog was in his absolute element! Lots of care and thought has gone into everything, the showers were surprisingly brilliant given there is no power on site. Andy and Sherri were fantastic hosts, we would definitely recommend and visit again!”
