“It took a lot for us to leave our cats in a cattery as they are very shy and it was our first time But I knew this was the right place the moment I seen it. Lynsey and Carl were more than happy for me to visit before booking. It was quiet and so pretty. All of the cats had a huge space to live in and were rolling on their backs and purring when Lynsey and Carl went past each apartment. The space for the cats is huge. Plenty of room to play and climb, aswell as wild birds to watch from their windows. When we dropped our cats off we got to bring them to the room and settle them in. I cannot recommend this place enough. I felt confident knowing that our boys were in the best of hands and would be loved and cared for.”

“Excellent hotel, very friendly staff. However the breakfast service was slow and we only just had time to eat our breakfast as we had to catch a train. The staff were apologetic but we had to rush our food and this meant we didn't enjoy the experience. Next time we will have cereal.”

“Our beautiful gentle Leonberger Lola is our pride and joy so before entrusting her to any Doggy Daycare or Boarding hotel I had visited quite a few before we chose The Grove. The location is great, just off the M6 Toll in Lichfield. The kennels are super clean and well set up. The staff are really friendly and genuinely take an interest in the dogs. They looked after Lola and sent me pictures and a video of her while we were away. Their drop off/pick up times are really great and the best thing of all Lola came out of there looking like she'd had a ball!”

“A group of 9 of us went here for dinner this evening. It was the first time I had ever been here but it certainly will not be my last. The staff were all lovely and the service was excellent. The menu had a good choice of menu for lighter bites also. All of the food was cooked to perfection. The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere and lots of nice nooks and crannies in if you wanted a nice meal out as a couple. Well done to all the staff of The Barns xx”

“A great hotel, supplemented by it's incredible staff, all of whom were so friendly, welcoming helpful, chatty and very competent. The studio room I stayed in was fantastic, incredibly clean, comfortable with every amenity required. A special mention of a the chap that helped with check in on Sunday 16th Nov around 8/9pm. He is a credit to your hotel, a great guy. Thankyou”

“Such an incredible place, we arrived just as they were decorating for Christmas and it was beautiful! The setting is stunning, the rooms are lovely, the food was absolutely incredible and the staff were all really friendly and helpful. We also visited the spa and had a treatment which was fantastic. It's expensive but worth it.”

“Held a corporate away day here and the team could not have been more supportive during the set up phase, very detailed and when I arrived all my requests had been executed as I wished. The overall stay, including the conference room, the bedrooms, all the refreshments and the evenings dinner were excellent. Nothing was too much trouble and the team loved the venue. Definitely would book again for such an event, and equally, happy to recommend to those staying for leisure too.”

“Best cattery out there! I live in London but I will always lodge my Bengal with Christine and the pussywillows team. Their cattery is set in a rural part of Birmingham where cats can benefit from the atmosphere. They have separate pens for each cat and also have double pens for those who have two or more cats. Each pen has adequate space and everything your cat needs. They're amazing when it comes to feeding schedules with the cats and also spend time bonding with the cats to keep them at ease. I have been sent regular pictures and videos as well as on the odd occasion been asked to send voice notes that can be played for my cat when he's missing us. I can't ask for a better service, care and communication. I've now housed my cat there twice and without a shadow of doubt I will continue to house my pet here whenever I'm on holiday. For the peace of mind and the way they treat my fur baby the 2 hour journey is worth it. So very grateful for pussywillows and the love and care they have for each feline that stays with them. A cattery with a heart ❤️.”

“My husband and I spent one night at the hotel and had a wonderful experience! The room was clean and comfortable, and both breakfast and dinner were delicious, with a wide variety of options to choose from. The dishes from the kitchen were absolutely delicious – every meal was perfectly prepared, full of flavor, and beautifully presented. Compliments to the chefs for such high-quality cuisine! I would especially like to thank Anshika, our waitress, for her exceptional service – always smiling, professional, and very attentive to every detail. She truly made our dining experience special. The reception staff were also very helpful and welcoming, making the check-in and check-out process smooth and pleasant. A big thank you as well to Valentina, the bartender, who was friendly, knowledgeable, and made amazing drinks every evening. Her Espresso Martini was absolutely delicious – the best we’ve ever had! Overall, a fantastic experience. We truly enjoyed our stay and would love to come back!”

“My stay was amazing! The apartment was immaculate everything was soo clean! The interior is really pretty. The bed and sofa was super comfortable. The host was amazing and responded very quick. Apartment had Netflix, Play Station and Games, Cards and board games. Was 10/10 and can’t wait to book again!”

From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel welcome with their warm hospitality and professional service. The rooms were clean, spacious, and well-equipped, providing a comfortable environment to relax after a long day. The location was excellent, close to major attractions yet peaceful enough for rest. “Went for lunch on Sunday 21st Dec, we went as a walk-in, after a morning of Xmas shopping. The staff were really friendly and welcoming; and even more welcome was the superb roast beef dinner; my wife had Cod-that was equally delicious. My lunch was washed down with a cracking Bordeaux Premiere. The Hotel du Vin is a really great building (former red brick Victorian Eye hospital) so is really characterful; and located in the Colmore Business district of the city centre; so architecturally and aesthetically, one of nicer parts of ‘town’. The bistro is beautifully decorated without being overly grand and pretentious, so a really nice relaxed atmosphere. Thank you to the waitress who allowed us to take extra Xmas crackers for our kids! “So I’d like to thank you for your amazing customer service, your staff and wonderful food. Not to forgot we were able to pray after breaking our Ramadan Fast. The Iftaar/Fast breaking food then the mixed grill starters were tops. Lovely curries and those Afghan Nans are the best. Nice desserts and teas too. Definitely will be returning. “Had the most amazing Nikah at Castle Bromwich! From start to finish, everything was absolutely perfect. The decor was stunning, and the management was outstanding I couldn’t fault a single thing. They truly listened to what I envisioned and went above and beyond to bring it to life. The attention to detail was incredible, and they exceeded all my expectations. uncle Aftab definitely knows how to keep his customers happy and above all listens and delivers. The gardens were like something out of a fairytale absolutely picture-perfect for photos. Thank you for making such a special day even more unforgettable.”

“Stayed here for one night late September. Staff are SO friendly and helpful, right from check-in, and also at breakfast. There was a nice atmosphere in the hotel, which is standard corporate style, but very smart and friendly. Rooms were spacious and clean and, at last, some decent temperate controls that worked really quickly. It's worth getting breakfast. The buffet selection isn't huge, but it's big enough mix and the hot food was actually hot, and very tasty. It wasn't too much extra over the standard room price, so well worth it.”

“I ordered a great mixed grill but must admit I was a little disappointed with no lamb chop or black pudding. It was still a great meal and value for money with the email voucher. The evening front of house staff was very helpful and not overpowering. Decor was a little to shabby chic and could do with abit of tlc.”

“Absolutely amazing stay! After a terrible experience at another hotel, coming here was a complete relief. The room was spotless, modern, and super comfortable, everything perfectly clean and well looked after. A huge thank you to Mini at reception — she was incredibly kind, professional, and welcoming. After such a rough start to my trip, she truly turned things around and made me feel at home. The whole hotel is calm, clean, and well organized — I finally managed to rest properly! “Stayed here for a weekend away, the hotel was lovely, the room was very spacious, we were on the 6th floor and had a great view. The hotel is very central, about 5 mins away from the train station and the buil ring. Only downside was the traffic outside the hotel causes snarl ups at busy times so plan this in if booking an Uber or taxi.”

“Spot On. Clean, great room, comfy bed, great coffee machine, loved the style of the building and location. Coffee shop round the corner. Parking on the road outside. Checked in on my phone, even called the lift on my phone! 15 min walk from the utilita arena. 20 min walk into town. 10/10.”

“Booked this venue for our daughter’s 6th birthday and couldn't have chosen a better venue. We had originally attended a family mehndi party there and we instantly fell in love with the venue. With the most amazing deco, location, parking facilities, the venue itself is clean, modern and spacious. The decor is also done in house, we went for the Barbie theme and they exceeded our expectations. Our daughter loved the entire deco and ambiance. We had also ordered the catering from them and the service was just amazing, couldn’t fault them in any way. The service is great, they do their best to make sure your day runs smoothly, and nothing is too much for them. Brother Hussein provided fantastic customer service from the beginning to the end. They were all very accommodating. I highly recommend booking your events there.”

“Cathy cared for my two bunnies who are house rabbits, so used to having a lot of space. I need not have worried though, as their room inside was a good size, with chairs, a pet bed and plenty of space for them to hop around. Cathy kept me updated via whatsapp with messages and photos/videos of the boys. I have already booked for our next holiday.”
