βFantastic value from Bancroft. My wife and I needed a place to crash during an NEC event. Having never used a guesthouse before, I was rather dubious. Bancroft exceeded my expectations! Victoria, the owner, was friendly, discreet and helpful. She provided a lovely upstairs room. Three large beds with optional fans for those of us that like air! My wife enjoyed breakfast one day. Excellent value and cooked to order. I will not hesitate to rebook next time I visit a conference. Apologies for the lousy picture and movie. They do not do justice to the establishment. Recommended.β
βI recently hosted my best friend's baby shower at The Old Hall, and it was an absolutely delightful experience! The venue was perfect, providing a lovely atmosphere that made the day very special. A special thank you to Millie and Emily, whose kindness and friendliness truly made the event shine. They couldn't have been more helpful ensuring everything went smoothly, and we couldn't have asked for better support. I highly recommend The Old Hall for any gathering!β
βThe hotel stays in the best place location in Stratford Upon Avon, you can walk from train station just 10 mins and walk to the main sightseeing in 5 mins~ Super nice brownie caramel cake i have eat before! Do not miss! And all staff very nice! Great hotel!β
βPersonally this was my favourite hotel for less than Β£130 a night in Coventry. You get a very nice experience for your money which I can only describe as having a luxury feel. Food was very good and the staff were very pleasant. No issues with the room, all clean and very stylish.β
βAmazing Sunday lunch here, food was really good quality, really flavoursome and fresh and great value. Staff are always lovely and friendly. A great pub all round, its got one of the best beer gardens in Warwick too.β
βMy wife and I recently enjoyed a one-night stay at Grimscote Manor Hotel whilst attending a wedding at nearby Blyth Hall in Coleshill. Upon entering the property, I immediately recognised the unique buildings constructed within the grounds - as featured on George Clarke's Channel 4 TV programme! The hotel itself isn't quite as 'unique' but it does have a lovely charm and feel to it - owner Steven's personality is definitely present and in a positive way. We enjoyed a Superior Double room with breakfast and it offered superb value for money at Β£150 (especially when the government take the VAT from the price). Our accommodation was very clean, spacious and well-equipped. Given the generous floor area, a larger bed would be welcomed by some guest - but it was just right for ourselves. Even with a fabulous building, convenient location and everything you could need, it's the staff who take care of you who really make a place worth staying at. Georgie on reception was brilliant - professional, helpful and friendly. The team at breakfast did a great job, being welcoming and running a slick, efficient operation. If you are looking for accommodation whilst attending an event at the nearby Belfry golf club, enjoying the second city of Birmingham or just want to treat yourselves to a break, Grimscote Manor Hotel is highly recommended. Thank you very much.β
βBarbara loves in the dog house, the staff are all really friendly and send brilliant pictures & updates all day! Everyone we have spoken to gives off friendly vibes and obviously love the doggos!β
βI love this establishment all the staff are lovely they makr you feel so welcome. Today i was served by such a lovely girl with a cracking smile called Eli always makes me feel welcome and a new addition called damny best resturant and hotel highly recommended!β
βWe enjoyed a one night stay here for a special birthday a few weeks ago. Our party booked 3 manor house master rooms which were all lovely and a great size. Our room Eastcote, was starting to to show a little bit of wear in a few places but overall it was very comfortable, especially the bed. We had dinner at the Warwick restaurant and absolutely loved it, the 5 course tasting menu was excellent and we felt reasonably priced for the quality. Breakfast was included with our stay and it didn't disappoint though the service was rather slow. We stayed with our dog and he was also made to feel welcome, a table was even set up in the lounge for us so that he could join us for breakfast! The grounds are large enough for a 20 minute walk and he was allowed to be left alone in the room while we had dinner. A bed and water bowl was provided along with a few poo bags and a packet of treats. Service through our stay overall was excellent and we felt very well looked after and we will certainly return.β
βHad a lovely impromptu stop over and the location off this hotel was ideal located near the motorway but with easy access to the trains into Birmingham centre via the NEC station. Hotel was great and excellent value. The spa had some maintenance issues but going down early morning meant was had it to ourselves. Would definitely stop here again if going to either the NEC or Birmingham.β
βThe Dusk βtil Dawn Details team recently had the pleasure of styling a wedding at Hogarths Hotel and were so impressed by both the venue and the team. The setting is truly beautiful, from the light-filled Garden Suite, which makes the perfect backdrop for a wedding breakfast, to the breathtaking outdoor ceremony area surrounded by lush greenery. The staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, going above and beyond to ensure the day ran smoothly for our lovely couple. A special shout-out to Laura, who was an absolute pleasure to work with from start to finish. If youβre considering Hogarths for your wedding, you can rest assured youβll be in the best of hands. We canβt wait to return and style many more celebrations here in the future!β
βThis was our third event at Coombe Abbey Hotel, and once again they nailed it. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpfulβtheyβre on hand to make you feel comfortable, handle the little details, and keep things running smoothly from arrival to departure. The hotel itself is fantastic, with lots of quirky rooms and cozy spaces. The historic manor has real character, while the newer event suites offer flexible layouts for conferences, parties, or dinners. There are plenty of options to keep things flowing well, from big keynote sessions in bright, open rooms to relaxed networking in smaller corners. The grounds are a real highlight. There are plenty of nice spots for a stroll, photos, or a quick break between sessions. Itβs a well-kept estate with a mix of formal lawns, pretty paths, and quiet corners that invite a bit of downtime. Overall, Coombe Abbey nails hospitality and atmosphere. The staffβs friendliness, the character of the spaces, and the lovely grounds come together to create a memorable event experience.β
βAs a low carb vegetarian with a gluten intolerance, itβs fabulous to find a restaurant flexible and obliging enough to adjust their offerings to my atypical needs. Whilst hubby tucked in to his ribs with fries, my halloumi was served minus the rice or fries, but with a lovely range of (extra veg). It was so good that I asked if the halloumi I couldnβt manage could be boxed and the very friendly and obliging staff did just that. Itβs so refreshing to find this level of service. My only critique is that the decor could be smartened up a little, but that did not detract from our experience.β
βI've used Studio 2 now on 2 separate work visits and have found Cyrille and the team a pleasure to book with. They are friendly and amenable, the studio is clean and has everything I need for my 3 night stay. It can get a bit noisy with other guests around but this didn't bother me at all as it was never late into the night. It's a great location for me and offers free parking close by. Ideal for me.β
βWe stayed here for a wedding and had a whale of a time. We were looked after by Adam and team from start to finish and they couldn't do enough for us. Our room was spacious, clean and well appointed. The atmosphere in the pub was brilliant. Friendly people working and drinking. Thank you for looking after us so well.β
βStayed for 2 nights. Very helpful & pleasant staff. 2 very nice dinners; the menu was somewhat limited. Excellent full english breakfast. Room very pleasant & clean; bed was comfortable. Only criticism is the absence of a light over the mirror above the dressing table.β
βHad a meal here with friends a couple of weeks ago. We had a warm welcome and a very friendly and helpful hostess. Food was lovely and good value. I would recommend the pie. Will return again.β
βLovely hosts - not often you get served breakfast by a world cup rugby star! And proper freshly cooked breakfast, too. Basis rooms, but comfortable and quiet - a good night's sleep. About half a mile from the centre with free parking.β
βClean and well maintained throughout. Convenient location in the town centre. Very helpful and attentive reception staff Mucktadim and Mathew. A very friendly breakfast team and tasty fresh breakfast cooked to order.β
βThe hotel was wonderful and spacious with plenty of room to get your steps in for the day. The reception smelled amazing and has a very welcoming design and spacious reception area. All the staff were very well presented along with big smiles from all. The grounds are very spacious due to holding a golf course on site. The swimming pool was kind of small for that size hotel but it was OK, the sauna and steam room are always an added bonus. The food within the 2 resturants I believe are very overpriced for the quality and standard of food. You can get room service for Β£5 charge. It may have just been me but I dont recommend it based on my experience as my food came cold but to be honest the reception staff done me proud in the end. The overall experience of the hotel was very present so would I go again (yes) but not anytime soon as I like to experience other hotels and like somewhere new. Oh nearly forgot to say the breakfast is the best breakfast I've ever had at any hotel loved it and highly recommend.β
βWe visited this lovely location over the weekend with 2 other families. I must say we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, especially the children. The hotel staff were very hospitable and welcoming. Our first meal was at the bar and grill, the staff ensured the children were well served, offered them ice cream and marshmallows on the house since they did not have it in the buffet menu. There is plenty of space around the club for the kids to run about and explore. Ample parking and good location. I would like to mention Matthew at the bar and grill who was extremely helpful. We used the leisure club - swimming , steam and sauna. The only suggestion I would have is to have another pool a bit deeper for adults. Difficult to swim since it's not above 4 feet . Having said that the pool was safe for kids. They have electric car - 4stations charging which was very useful for us. I would recommend this place for a great weekend break!β
βPriyanka she was exceptionally attentive, kind, and professional throughout our entire meal. Her warm attitude and genuine smile made us feel very welcome and well taken care of. She demonstrated great knowledge of the menu and provided excellent recommendations, which made our experience even better. Itβs clear that she takes pride in her work and truly cares about the customersβ experience. Thanks to her, our visit was memorable, and we will definitely be returning soon. Please extend our thanks and recognition to her for a job very well done!β
βCan I just say Wow! We stayed here for our corporate away day on the 12th - 13th of November and It was fantastic. The events team helped me with every query, The price was fanatic with everything that was included. The staff were lovely and accommodating, the meeting space we used for our all day meeting was great, rooms were super comfy and the food was 10/10. We will be considering to stay here again for our next away day, highly recommend.β
βStayed overnight as part of a conference package. Second visit. Excellent! Food is delicious, and the room was very clean and comfortable. Staff are lovely. Well run hotel that delivers a very good all round stay. Not located in the prettiest of areas, but very good access to everything!β
βWe had a lovely stay at the hotel, the room was immaculate and very comfortable indeed. The service was perfect in every way and breakfast delicious. I am very happy to highly recommend staying here. Markβ
βI have been working away from home for years now and this the best most welcoming clean place I have stayed Chris the owner is a real genuine guy and very helpful I have already recommended this place to friends thank you.β
βWeβve just returned from a wonderful three-night stay at the Leonardo Hotel, Hinkley Island, and I cannot recommend it highly enough! From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. This hotel is impressive in both size and service, running smoothly and efficiently, but what truly stood out were the incredible staff members. Each and every team member we encountered went above and beyond to ensure we had the most pleasant stay. A special shout-out to Beth and Faith at reception, who welcomed us with warm, genuine smiles and were always ready to assist with any request. Their customer service was second to none, making us feel like valued guests from the start. Similarly, Meghan at the bar was an absolute gemβso friendly, professional, and attentive, making our evenings even more enjoyable. Itβs clear that the staff at the Leonardo Hotel are not only well-trained, but also truly care about their guests, and that makes all the difference. They really went the extra mile to make our familiesβ half-term breaks unforgettable. Thank you so much to the entire team for making our stay so special. You are a true credit to the Leonardo Hotel chain, and we canβt wait to return! The Gomez & Welch familiesβ
βVery friendly and helpful staff. Room was clean and well maintained. Breakfast was very good. Good heating and facilities, and plenty secure parking. EV charging points would be a great addition. Recommend a stay.β
ββThe Holiday Inn Birmingham Airport-NEC truly exceeded expectations and ranks as the best Holiday Inn I have stayed at to date. βThe quality of the accommodation was excellent. The room was modern, impeccably clean, and provided a comfortable base for my stay. βHowever, the real highlight was the food. The Open Lobby Restaurant offers a dining experience far superior to its competitors. Breakfast was well-cooked with a great selection to start the day. Crucially, the evening meals were excellentβa significant step up from other Holiday Innsβand were genuinely worth the money. It's rare for hotel dining to be a key selling point, but here, it absolutely is.β
βfunction in the main suite - exceptional food and service I have known and used this hotel since mid 1980's - exceptional and on the top of it's game, superb room, breakfast and service in every departmentβ
