βWells pharmacy is a 'Pharmacy First' just down the road. The pharmacist was very busy so it took a couple of call ins (rather than wait) to see him. Very worth while visit, professional and friendly.β
βThis Chemist saved my life! They insisted on taking my blood pressure. I had to go to the hospital because it was very high.. Thank you to all the staff at the Pharmacy. Thank you!β
βLeave the staff alone, you standing there yelling at them is just going to make the problem worse. 2 poor girls were yelled at by a woman who had hardly been waiting 10 minutes for a huge prescription, I only know this because the girls tried to explain to her it was a prescription with 2 months of medication on it. She claimed to be deaf and that's why she was yelling but she evidently wasn't as she started speaking calmly when she got what she wanted. They're in a tough position obviously but still come in every day. Maybe more needs to be done higher up to actually help themβ
βIβm a long term patient in Campbell House, since 2008. My CPNs in the past were great β some better than others, but thatβs normal. The depot team is generally amazing. Since they have the appointment system I donβt have to wait much. Originally I didnβt like the idea, but looks like it really works. I hadnβt spoke to a psychiatrist for a long time, but I donβt need to, as I take my medication and go for my weekly injection consistently and have very few side effects. My hospitalisation all the way through my 20βs was a result of not cooperating with the treatment. My mental health got worse as a result. Now Iβm feeling happy and healthy. They found the right treatment for sure.β
βI am fairly new to this surgery but from the moment I registered beginning of December to now I have had nothing but great experiences. Registration I needed my B12 very quickly and they booked me in before my details was even registered to ensure I got it on time, then they had me set up fast so I could get my repeat medication without any delay over christmas which I was so worried about! I got very ill and needed an on the day appointment and didn't call until just gone 2pm and managed to get one with the lovely nurse Julie/Julia who was incredible with me, told me off for not going a&e like she should, spent a long time doing a thorough examination then found out what was wrong with me and prescribing me medication to help and told me to never ignore signs and call ambulance next time, she really was amazing and hope to see her again if I ever need a nurse. She made me laugh so much during a scary time!! Hope she gets a lot of recognition you can tell she is very passionate about her role as a nurse and cares so much about her patients. Then the receptionists, have always been so kind and helpful towards me and always resolve any issues I have had. Really like this surgery and love the people working there, all so friendly and helpful xβ
βBrilliant! So impressed with how fast 111 online referred my 7 year old to the pharmacist and we saw her straight away, late on a Saturday evening. Very professional and friendly service. So pleased. Thank you!β
βThis review is for the dentist Well, what can I say other than fab service and really friendly staff. Iβve had a couple of emergency requests for help and they have been there to help Today I had to have a tooth out and really, I was not looking forward to this, really not, but they were reassuring and it was done very quickly and easier than I was expecting. Many thanksβ
βReview for Dr. Rana Elagawany β King Edward Road Surgery After seven long months of ongoing health issues, I finally had the opportunity to be seen by Dr. Rana Elagawany β and what a breath of fresh air she was. From the moment the consultation began, she was calm, kind, and genuinely caring. She took the time to really listen, without rushing me or making me feel like just another appointment on the list. Dr. Elagawany reminded me so much of Dr. Kausar β another compassionate and understanding doctor Iβve trusted in the past. Itβs rare to come across a GP who makes you feel truly heard and supported, and Dr. Rana did exactly that. She is an absolute asset to King Edward Road Surgery. Thank you, Dr. Rana, for your empathy, professionalism, and exceptional care. You are absolutely amazing.β
βI have been a member of this surgery for 12 years. I can not speak highly enough over how brilliant this doctors surgery has been. All of the staff here are incredible ive had so many possitive experiences over the years, never had a problem with seeing a doctor one time i was worried over my baby, the receptionist gave me suggestions and said if doesnt work ring back, it worked so i didnt need to but she made the effort to ring me back as she knew how distressed i was. My latest experience with a lovely lady shared her own experience with me when i was discussing concerns which is so reasuring she was just so easy to talk to and i felt great after our 20 min chat! just such a lovely place really appreciate them!β
βNo problem at all. Very friendly reception, very helpful and understanding. Very pleased with the whole service. The NHS is under lots of pressure, but to still have the service is amazing.β
βI had an appointment today with Marinella too redress my foot ulcer. I was taken in to my appointment early, I was made to feel at ease straight away. I am disabled and Marinella kept checking to see if I was okay, and if in any way she was hurting me whilst doing my drβ
βThe receptionists are superb, so helpful and aware of your needs, not just when signing in but also while you are waiting. I screamed with leg pain and the receptionist Immediately asked the do tor to come down and see me in the ground floor doctors room. Very impressed with interactions with them on phone and in person. Doctor running late but in my opinion a sign that he/she listened to patients. Took time to listen to me.β
βI think this surgery is amazing! The reception staff are amazing! I honestly couldnβt think of a better set of women they have all helped me and the doctors and nurses and great! Brilliant surgery!β
βThey do seem to get a bit of flack but we've found them nothing but helpful. My daughter gets my prescriptions. Tend to ring first and they are always ready. Must be a very difficult and busy job. Shout out to the young lad with the headset on. Always polite and courteous.β
βDon't normally do reviews , but just got off the phone from a lovely receptionist ,yes ,I did say a lovely receptionist. Her name was Rashida ,and very polite with me.although can't see a Dr for a fortnight ,she was very pleasant .β
βExcellent service over the last 10 plus years and the new ways of working is proving to make it easier to get appointments and manage things better. Very good Doctors and good appointment management by the staff. Also there is always space to sit and being able to use the touch screen to inform the GP that you have arrived etc., has made it much easier to get on with your appointment.β
βI think my Jill and I must be attending a different surgery! Since the appointment system (face to face) has been reinstated we have nothing but praise in our own particular circumstances for all the staff at this surgery. We have both had fairly serious health problems ( my wife Jill more than me) and all Doctors in my case Natasha Umrao and for Jill Dr Onimole & Dr Munir all have been amazing in their kind and humanitarian way and looked after our interests to the maximum. I will say utilising the Anima Health app ( which does take a bit of getting used to) does make contact and management of appointments a lot easier. And again from a personal point of view - a big shout out for all the reception staff and nurses who have always been so kind to us.β
βAfter having my blood pressure measured and a blood sample taken by a very pleasant and professional nurse I was asked by her to make an appointment for a medication review. After a number of texts over the course of several days in which the result of each test e.g., cholesterol level, B12 level etc. was given I waited for my medication review. The review was undertaken over the phone by a Clinical Pharmacist. After introducing herself she patiently explained in detail exactly what the test results were. We then discussed the regular medication that I take. She asked various questions relating to my medication e.g., when do I take the tablets, are there any side effects etc. The whole experience was undertaken in a manner which made me feel that I was being treated as a valued patient and not just a name on a list.β
