“We had our anniversary Sunday lunch at the Saracen’s Head and took our young cocker spaniel to make it more of a challenge. The staff were very good and promptly found a water bowl for the pup whilst taking our drink and food order. We ate at a window table in the bar. The food arrived in good time; it was plentiful and delicious (a Veggie Roast with sprouts, cauliflower cheese and red cabbage and a Steak Burger with chunky chips).
