“We enjoyed a wonderful 6 course winter tasting menu. Each course was delicious and presented beautifully. In particular, the scallop, venison and rhubarb croissant dessert courses stood out. The latter was unlike anything I have had before and was both spectacular and surprising! In addition to the food, Paris House is very uniquely situated in a deer park, which adds to the ambience. It was wonderful to come up the entrance drive and see the deer in the park. I would highly recommend the restaurant, it's perfect for a special occasion!”

“I ordered the large chicken biryani from Tender Bun, and it was absolutely delicious. The portion was generous, the flavors were rich, and every bite felt satisfying. The quality and taste definitely exceeded my expectations. Highly recommended for biryani lovers!”

“Great food, great atmosphere and lovely staff. The lady who served us was correct, one portion of Patatas Bravas was enough for two people. Mocktails were very nice as well, and there is parking that's free for 3 hours”

“Dropped in mid-week, easy to get a table but they'd quite a number of people in. Still quiet enough to chat easily. Lovely menu, we'll need to get back to try more as the food was great. We ordered a sharing platter, Greek salad, spinach pie and meatballs - it all tasted as good as it looks. Finished off with the orange Pie and coffee. Orange Pie was a great holiday discovery, we've been trying in restaurants ever since... We think this has the No 1 spot now!”

“Visited French Affaire for a birthday breakfast and it was my first visit. The dishes were delivered to our table quickly and were really tasty. I had an oat flat white which was also very nice! I’d definitely recommend a visit.”

The owner described all the dishes and we went for spicy hummus with lamb and chicken shawarma. I always do a little dance if the food is great and believe me not just my stomach was playing a melody but my feet were moving to the beat too. Definitely coming back again and again! Thank you!”

“My favorite pub in the UK! I’ve visit a lot of pubs but the Cross Keys is near home and every time I go is all joy, food, drinks, restaurant, pub, garden in summer… I visit almost every week and I never regret it. Fully recomended! Best part? Cruzcampo, a beer from Sevilla, my home town.”

“Me and my partner have been multiple times, and have always had good food and great service. We travelled around Vietnam in 2024 and Cafe Sen takes us back every time we go. We love the banh mi and spring rolls which we get a lot, or on a Thursday we’ll have Vietnamese pancakes on a special. Occasionally we’ll go for dinner and try noodle or soup dishes which are all lovely as well. I couldn’t recommend this place enough and the staff are all lovely.”

“Lovely pub on a very pretty high street, warm welcome and a few beers to pick from. Would be nice to see a good IPA on draft but other than that it's well worth popping in. They do regular live music and food events too.”

“We had a lovely afternoon tea and I was really impressed from the minute I walked in. We received a fabulous greeting as though they'd known us for years and the service from that moment on was absolutely brilliant. The food was delicious and we were offered more sandwiches and top ups on the drinks throughout our visit. The whole area was decorated beautifully and the atmosphere was so friendly and fun. I can't recommend this enough and thank you for a lovely time.”

Chef will always accommodate a request for something cooked in a certain way, or something that isn’t on the menu, a great local business that really is part of the community.”

“Staying locally for a few days and came to this delightful cosy restaurant. We love Thai food but are always nervous about coming somewhere new. However, this place did not disappoint. Charming service at just the right pace. Spoke to a local who comes regularly and said they've never had a bad meal there. I had the Penang vegetable curry and coconut icecream, my husband had duck green curry and banana fritters both were delicious. We parked in the free car park nearby as the parking ourside the restaurant is limited. It gets fully booked at weekends so I advise you to book early. We definitely back next time we're in the area.”

“Our friend & his family recommended Tuk Tuk Thai after a recent visit, and went we back with him. The staff was very welcoming and the restaurant had a great feeling and atmosphere. Even whilst the restaurant was busy on a Saturday night the staff kept on top of making sure we was happy with our food etc. our waitress (lily) was very helpful in regards to helping us choose what to eat, especially as my husband is on a keto diet at the moment, she knew all about it and guided us to what he could or couldn’t eat. The food had amazing flavour and good size portions. Will definitely be coming back and thank you for a lovely evening.”

The food was absolutely phenomenal (as always) and the new restaurant is stunning – classy and elegant while still keeping that intimate, family-run feel we’ve always loved. We’ve been dining at The Greedy for years and it’s never anything less than fantastic. The owners are wonderful, the staff are so friendly, and every visit feels like a treat.
