βReally welcoming and good food as always. Will be coming back again. The homemade jasmine lemonade was very refreshing.β
βMyself and my partner did the beginner snowboarding lesson with Luca as our instructor. Luca was an incredible instructor who catered to everyoneβs different progressions in the group throughout the time we were on the slope. He was very down to earth and friendly, encouraging us and supporting in a really good way. All the staff we encountered were really friendly. The set up at the centre was great, loved that there was more to do and shops to look in, around snozone too. Would definitely recommend and will come back.β
βExcellent for birthdays. We recently celebrated my sonβs football-themed birthday party, and it was absolutely fantastic thanks to Luke! He was professional, enthusiastic, and so attentive to every detail. All the children had an amazing time, and every parent commented on how well-organised and fun it was and how attentive Luke was. Luke went above and beyond to make the day special β his energy, patience, and genuine care really stood out. Thank you, Luke, for making my sonβs birthday one to remember!β
βGreat location for central MK shopping, spacious comfortable rooms and dining on site available which was excellent. The service from hotel and restaurant staff was excellent; Bow in particular was exemplary for dinner service. My only gripe about the hotel is that pool closes at 9pm and doesn't open until 8am and during evenings and weekends is part used for children's swim classesβ
βI just returned from a getaway with my dad and we had the best stay! The rooms were spotless, and honestly, those beds felt like clouds β I slept like a baby. The restaurant had a fantastic vibe with an amazing selection of food, plus the staff were super attentive. I've stayed here before, and it just keeps getting better. Highly recommend for anyone looking to relax and enjoy a good meal!β
βToday after a wet walk with my dog I went into the black horse. The staff were so welcoming and friendly. The cocktails were very tasty and the coffee was divine. Canβt wait to return. Thank youβ
βFood was absolutely beautiful! Came in with my partner for an early Saturday dinner and everything was 10/10! The owner described all the dishes and we went for spicy hummus with lamb and chicken shawarma. I always do a little dance if the food is great and believe me not just my stomach was playing a melody but my feet were moving to the beat too. Definitely coming back again and again! Thank you!β
βMy partner and I visited this gem for a Sunday roast, and we couldnβt have been more impressed. The atmosphere was warm, welcoming. The food was absolutely spot on. We both had the Sunday roast, and it was everything youβd hope for: tender meat, crispy roasties, (bottomless gravy) The portions were generous! But what truly made the experience memorable was our waiter, George. From the moment we sat down, he was friendly, attentive, and incredibly funny, he had us laughing throughout the meal. Heβs got a natural charm and charisma that made the service feel personal and genuine. Honestly, George has all the makings of a great entrepreneur, sharp, confident, a real credit to the team!β
βWent for lunch and had a cosy table for 2 but the open fire. Food was lovely- we had a couple of starters and a pizza. Tracey was super attentive and looked after all our needs, making us feel very welcome. Will definitely be coming back- would highly recommend.β
βMy favourite local Thai. Great food, friendly staff. Good idea to book at the weekend as it gets busy. They do great value weekday business lunch for under Β£12 each.β
βWe ordered sweet & chili chicken and chicken teriyaki. Both were delicious! Rice was especially tasty, and chicken was tender. And it was super fast! I recommend 100%β
βFood was absolutely incredible . Each dish is crafted with care and bursting with flavor. You can really taste the quality of the ingredients, and the presentation is top-notch. Whether you're in the mood for something classic or adventurous. Love with their food . I wasnβt even expecting that much taste but trust me Iβm obsessed with their food . Will go definitely again . Highly recommended.β
βExcellent restaurant on Woburn Sands main street. The service from the start was attentive and helpful. The food was fresh and very tasty and all the dishes looked and tasted much better than so many local curry restaurants.β
βMy Dad & I went to Purple Mango last Tuesday & Wednesday- opting to go a second time because the Tuesday was brilliant. Granted we have been to Purple Mango previously but there has been a massive gap and we are talking years. On the first night of us going I noticed a change to the inside and it looked great. Very inviting & spacious, and we picked the right time to go as the first night it started to fill up very quickly- party booking. The poppadoms and pickle selections was great as a small starter before the main meals, and all I can say is Wow. The flavours were intoxicating, and you could tell by just one bite that there were prepared from scratch. Going out to other Indiana restaurants I could tell that there there were but not with Purple Mango. And it was the same on the second visit too, even when ordering different meals. The staff were both friendly and welcoming. And once again the restaurant began to fill up about half an hour or so after we arrived. Emphasising how great a restaurant it is to go to. Highly recommended establishment to go to for a excellent authenthic meal.β
βVisited here as a group of three for a Sunday roast. The service is great and the server could not have been more helpful. I phoned on a Thursday to make a reservation for the Sunday and so we were only able to get a table for just over an hour, this was plenty of time and the food came out quickly. Can safely say this is one of the better roast dinnerβs Iβve had - not stingy on the portion sizes and the food was just brilliant all round. The bill came in at around Β£40pp including drinks and dessert / coffees, very reasonable for what youβre getting.β
βWas once here with my daughter, thought this time we would go out with my other half. We booked for 1 pm for Sunday lunch. It was in full swing on both floors and people queuing at the door. Only waited about 5 minutes for our table. As you can see, we ordered quite a lot but it was just too tasty. The staff were very polite and accommodating. Definitely will be back very soon.β
βI recently ordered from New Hong Kong in Emerson Valley, Milton Keynes, and it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. The open-plan kitchen is a fantastic touchβyou can actually watch your meal being prepared, which adds a layer of trust and excitement to the process. The menu is impressively extensive, boasting over 250 dishes. I opted for the salt and pepper spare ribs and the king prawn chow mein. Both dishes were bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. The portions were generous, ensuring great value for money. What stood out was the freshness of the ingredients and the authentic taste that transported me straight to the streets of Hong Kong. The staff were friendly and efficient, making the ordering process smooth and hassle-free. For anyone craving authentic Chinese cuisine in Milton Keynes, New Hong Kong is a must-visit. Their commitment to quality and customer satisfaction is evident in every bite. Iβll definitely be returning to explore more of their diverse menu.β
βOrdered the doner meat and chips. One of the best I've eaten in MK. Well cooked meat, crispy chips and a pretty fresh salad. Decent price and the guys behind the counter are brilliant. 100% recommend.β
βThis large mediterranean restaurant looks a bit sad from outside at the moment. The terrace area appears to be awaiting some sort of refurbishment, so instead of the lively space it usually is, itβs all a bit forlorn. Donβt let that put you off though, the restaurant inside is open for business - a large space with a semi-open kitchen to your left. Visited on a Wednesday evening and seated straight away, the restaurant was moderately busy. Colourful lamps, some big booths to the right. Service was quick and attentive - order for drinks taken (the beer was Peroni, a good choice) and free lavash bread with dips for the table. The menu itself is fulsome, with a good choice of hot and cold mezze to start, including all of the classics. Opted for some Sigar Borek - I love those little tubes of feta and mint. Always a good choice. For a main, I opted for the Sarma Beyti - good sized portion, served with rice, a little bulgar and a side-salad. Weird addition of five pieces of corn into the rice - I hate corn - but with so few, I could pick them out. Food itself was all freshly cooked and delicious, well on a par with some of the best mediterranean dishes Iβve had. The Adana also looked very good - two big skewers of delicious lamb. I would have had that with chips though - I think sometimes you just want chips. In addition to the street entrance the restaurant appeared to have a door onto the little shopping precinct next door, although that all looked a bit lifeless, so perhaps it is no longer open. Overall a good experience and definitely worth a visit if youβre in the area - plenty of parking outside, which may even be free after six.β
βI ordered the Greek Sausage, Chicken Gyros Plate, Greek Kebab Philadelphia Plate, and Greek Salad from Authentic Greek Souvlaki on Bletchley High Street for delivery earlier today. Everything was fresh, deliciously tasty, and generously portioned. Delivered on time, and excellent value for money. Highly recommend!β
βIt was 32 degrees, hot summer day when I passed from here and needed something to eat. I ordered some salmon which was very delicious, but I needed five times the amount to get full, I decided that it's the perfect timing for a cold beer, it was very nice and refreshing, The place is super nice and the staff are super friendly, but it appears to me that they not used to having many foreigners with funny English accents :) Great relaxing place. Highly recommend itβ
βOur band played here a few weeks ago as part of Woburn festival. What an amazing place. Great food, friendly staff and amazing customers making it fun to play at. We would love to come back and play again! This time out full 3+ hour set. Different Wavelengths #differentwavelengthsuk #differentwavelengthsofficialβ
βThe place carries itself with that quiet, old-world charm Milton Keynes sometimes hides away, and Ye Olde Swan leans into it beautifully. The moment you step through the door, the fire is already doing half the welcoming for you. It crackles with the sort of confidence only a well-loved pub can have, throwing out a glow that makes the whole room feel settled and familiar. I have to travel half the city to get here, but worth it!β
βGreat food. Very accommodating for a medium sized group of lads. Just suggested what we got as a group and it was all delicious. Attentive and friendly staff. Would come again.β
βWe ordered takeout here for 50 pounds. The service was excellent and the food tasted great when delivered home. It was very popular.β
βIβve been to Peterβs Chinese a few times now and itβs consistently great. Itβs one of those local gems in Milton Keynes that might not look like much from the outside, but the food speaks for itself. Their sweet and sour chicken is one of the best Iβve had β crispy, not too greasy, and with a tangy sauce that actually tastes fresh. The portions are generous, and the prices are more than fair for the quality you get. The service is always friendly and efficient, whether you're eating in or collecting takeaway. You can tell they have regulars, which is always a good sign. I also really like how quick they are β perfect for a last-minute dinner plan. Definitely a solid go-to spot for Chinese food in the area.β
βLovely pub. People very friendly. The manager I think was called Kirsty. We wanted to sit outside but no tables were free. Manager asked for someone to bring a table out. Had a very pleasant time.β
βWe had such a wonderful experience during our visit! The property is beautiful and well maintained! Their operations were excellent and extremely helpful regardless the times of request! Will definitely come back again!β
βAbsolutely the best cheese and bacon burger Iβve ever had!!! Will be back very soon!β
βBooked a 2 bed apartment and received a pleasant surprise on arrival, we had been upgraded to 3 beds. Everything we needed was provided, real home from home. Beds were lovely and confy. Location was perfect for us visiting the Milton Keynes bowl, cheap taxi on the way there, 30 min walk back.β
