“Came in for a coffee and a bite to eat after a long walk along the canal, then went browsing throughout the whole shop. It's a place you could spend all day just looking at all the items for sale in there. It's a big treasure trove.”

I love the layout of the Nottingham store, it's airy and open plan. As someone who has visited the Pacific Northwest a number of times, the images on the walls provide you with inspiration. The guy said they hadn't got any in stock but helpfully pulled one of the rail in the same style so I could see the fit and sizing and ordered it to my house free shipping from the online screen they have in store. As well as providing engaging classes that my babies and I have thoroughly enjoyed, what sets Hayley apart is the effort she puts in to creating a parent community. She encourages groups to connect through the class WhatsApp and through socialising together after class, and as a result we have made wonderful friendships that have truly enhanced the parenting journey with both children. I'd recommend Hayley's classes unreservedly - it's the only one that is for the parent as much as the baby.”

The boots I really liked are made just up the road by Britain's last traditional work boot maker, and my belt was made just outside London. A really pleasant shopping experience, really great friendly service, chatted for ages! Lovely shop, well worth calling in when in Belper.”

“Stay and play at alf&Co on a Tuesday has honestly been the highlight of our week on maternity leave. Kirby and her team are the nicest friendliest people and the whole atmosphere is so lovely. The variety of toys is excellent and they always make sure there are toys for each age group. Having a hot drink included too is such a nice touch. Could not recommend it more. And being on mapperley top there are loads of places to go for lunch after with the other mums and dads. The shop too is gorgeous and we've bought some lovely toys and clothes that are such great quality. If you want a group to go to with baby/toddlers this one is fab. Don't be nervous about going on your own, you'll make friends. It's so relaxed and everyone is lovely. They also have lots of extras like a photographer some weeks, sleep experts another and a pottery lady for some lovely baby footprint Xmas presents. I'm so sad to be going back to work and will really miss this. Iris has LOVED it! Thank you Kirby and Rebecca, you'll never know how much this session helps mums get out of the house and get some much needed interaction. Thank you! Xxx”
