“I have been so impressed with the customer service by Alison - and her colleague Gayle. I purchased some bee design cushions and wanted six more. Alison went above and beyond to get them in store for me! They even recognised me as I was walking across the car park some time later - to update me on progress! Followed by a telephone call when they arrived. When I explained that I was going away for a fortnight - Gayle was very helpful stating that they would put my name on them ready for my return - and wished me a lovely trip. “Great place to visit if you like spending time browsing, not once were we approached or bothered by the staff, even though it was fairly quiet when we visited. You will spend a fair bit of time in the upstairs antiques area, as there is something there for everyone, and prices from a few bob to whatever you fancy. They do have a lift to different floors, and there are a few eating areas.”

“Amazing customer service, the staff are so helpful and went above and beyond for my order when I couldn't arrange to collect it. Good quality uniform that has withstood the test of time with my teenage son but unfortunately not pubescent growth spurts! They don't provide you with uniform that fits for now and will only last 5 minutes they measure and accommodate for growing kids so it's good value for money when you consider how long they last. Thank you so much for such a pleasant interaction!”

“Soon to be first time parents and the idea of buying travel systems was completely alien but the staff were lovely and talked us through everything we needed to know. They have a huge variety of travel systems and once they'd helped us decide what would be best for us, we had a look upstairs at their furniture. We picked up a Cossatto travel system for cheaper than we'd found anywhere else and they're even storing it for us until we want to pick it up. We didn't even know this place existed and it's very quickly become our go to for anything baby related. Lovely, helpful staff which can't do enough for you! Will definitely be back as and when we need something else, which seems inevitable!”

“This was my first time through the doors of House of Dalrymple. Quite simply, from start to finish this has been my most enjoyable clothes shopping experience to date! I believe there is something for everybody in this shop, no matter what the occasion. With less than two weeks to find a wedding outfit, that I could wear again & again was a challenge I thought I would never achieve. The staff made me feel so at home and with their expert advice & help we found the right outfit for me. Slight alterations were required & Pat, with a few tucks & pins, enhanced the fit. All I had to do was wait for the alterations to be completed & at no extra cost! Well ahead of schedule, Pat called to say my outfit was ready :-) The alterations are impeccable & I was so pleased I was able to thank him personally. “Went today after buying some Timberland boots in November 2022 from this store. A week ago the heel started to pull away and squeak continuously. It was small, but after a quick conversation, receipt, there was an absolutely no quibble exchange. I wore them a lot and normally would just write it off, but I was reassured, treated exceptionally well, that returning them was okay. First class customer service from Scott and the team. You may get Timberland items cheaper online but I 100% percent recommend getting them from the store just in the rare occasion like mine, there's a fault. Can't thank the store enough, thanks all.”
