The mixology here is truly creative. We ordered the Espresso Martini, and it was one of the best we've ever had. It was delicious, strong, and beautifully presented, creatively adorned with a dark chocolate edible spoon and a dash of caramel caviar. “Several weeks ago we ordered a large fridge freezer from John Lewis, we were served by Martin, who was extremely knowledgeable on the product. It was not a stock order and as we were ordering it on a Sunday, Martin was not able to tell me when it could be delivered. He promised that he would call the company the next day and then let me know approximately how long it would be, before it was ready for delivery, direct from Fisher Paykel. During the time we were waiting for the delivery I rang Martin and asked him several questions about installation and size of the cabinet trying to judge whether we would get it through our front door. Every time he said he would do something he always delivered, he went the extra mile putting my mind at rest. He made several calls to me keeping me updated. I have been a customer of John Lewis for many years and have always received excellent service, however I feel that Martin went above and beyond. He is a great ambassador for John Lewis, thank you Martin for all for care and consideration The Fridge freezer was delivered today and Fisher Paykel staff also behaved in a manner that their company should be proud of. The cabinet would not go through our door complete, which meant that they had to take the doors off to get it into the house. This was done with the minimum fuss and they left us with a fully operating fridge freezer, also taking away the packaging. The whole experience from start to finish has been fantastic, thanks to both companies your staff certainly delivered excellent customer service.”

I think it's important for Greene King to recognise what a quality Barmaid they have in Emma, she couldn't do enough to accommodate me. Really impressed. Had a couple of drinks and ended up having a bite to eat, absolutely no complaints with the food. Was an unplanned stop but defo encouraged a return. Nice one Emma, you made the visit!”

“Called in last Saturday at 2.30pm needing 2 black tie suits, due to being let down with hire suits. The shop was already busy with 2 groups of lads who had made appointments. I explained our situation and was asked to wait if we could and they would get to us asap. We only waited around 10 minutes during which time we were offered a drink. A hour later we had 2 black tie suits, shirts, ties and cufflinks. The service was first class, they know their business, make time to understand your needs and deliver to the highest of standards. Absolutely first class, thank you.”

“Here's the short version: great food and great service. Our waiter was really helpful. Given the tapas nature of the restaurant we were unsure about how much to order without overdoing it, and with his help we got it just right. We branched out a bit and tried things we hadn't had before, and it was all fantastic. The tacos and the paneer tapas dishes were a highlight. I also loved the Thali, I had a few favourites (the lamb dish and the lentils one), but everything was great. We also treated ourselves to a cocktail which was delicious, and very reasonably priced as part of their pre-7pm "2 for £12" deal. Honestly I'm ashamed it took us so long to try this place. We certainly won't leave it that long til next time, we're coming back soon!”
