“Called in this morning for a breakfast as we was driving past, friendly staff, nice food and drink, we will definitely be back :) only downside is when it’s busy parking is limited on the street due to the position of the cafe, but worth parking further down the road and and walking up :)”
“delicious and fresh sandwiches, the pastries / treats were really delicious !! the waffles are so fresh and warm, literally melts in your mouth :') coffee is very well made too and is my favourite so far !! not bitter but not too sweet either, i love it ! ”
“Lovely little place really enjoyed the panini I had great fresh flavoured produce and love the coffee”
“Had a Dental appointment in the neighbourhood and wanted a place to relax and do some work online before heading to work. Ordered the omelette with mushrooms and peppers which was amazing! Nice, quiet space to work as well. Will definitely be back to try what’s on the menu.”
“I had a lovely afternoon at the Dandelion having afternoon tea. The food was amazing! They cater for vegetarians and vegans too which is amazing! The staff are so lovely and welcoming!! Would definitely recommend!”
“Our first visit, recommended by one of my colleague. We stopped for a breakfast. Great location of the tearooms as along the Grantham Canal, perfect stop if you walk or bicycle along the canal. There are plenty seats and table outside where you can enjoy nice views and greedy ducks may keep you company so be careful. If may be busy so make sure there is a table available before ordering. More table available upstairs. Great choice of breakfast and lunch, cold and hot drinks, ice creams and yummi home made cakes, scones and muffins. The staff were very attentive, friendly and helpful. Our breakfast was served within 10 minutes max. Great coffee! The meals were presented in nice way, good one and the portions were decent. I missed a little bit of flavour in smashed avocado, bacon was OK. The bread, sausages and tomatoes were really good. So the food was correct, I missed a little bit of taste twist. The inside decor is nice, and cosy, very clean. Toiles are located outside. What I really like about the place is the wall pictures by local artists you can buy. I am still giving 5 starts with a credit for delicious-looking cakes I am going to try next time as I will definitely be back.”
“Amazing cafe!! The drinks and buns are devine, and we always get amazing service. All the staff are super friendly and attentive. The whole cafe has a fantastic atmosphere. It is now one of my favourite cafes in Nottingham!!”

“Myself and a friend so much enjoyed our afternoon tea here which was delicious and just the right size with great value for money. The waitresses were lovely and the service excellent. We will be back thank you so much.”
“I have come here several times and always enjoyed the food and the service all the staff go out their way to make sure you enjoy your food and experience. I definitely highly recommend it for all your tastes and not over priced either. They also do takeaway options aswell as on Justeat”
“The coffee here was excellent, the atmosphere incredible and the personal touches to customer care were beyond what is required. My partner has a somewhat unconventional name and spotted a bottle of wine with the same name as him. As we were discussing purchasing said wine the owner came over and delivered it to us, which was beyond anything necessary for a coffee house to do. We were absolutely blown away by the hospitality and will definitely be coming back here. You've won yourselves customers for life!”
“Excellent! I had received recommendations to come here and I'm so pleased I did. They are so very friendly, have great human and dog menu's. I had a toasties for lunch and it came with humour (or colslaw), crisps and a side salad. I was totally stuffed after all that and the food quality was excellent. The coffee is also delicious and strong but smooth. I really highly recommend coming to the Dog and Bear. Bring your doggies too.”
“What can I say other than Kalimera is a little oasis of Greek Cypriot delicacies in Nottingham. Mixing British and Mediterranean foods on the same menu is so clever! My son and I had to try the Greek breakfast, so tasty - I recommend it as an alternative to the traditional English breakfast! The Greek sausages are brilliant! Came back the next morning to collect Galaktoboureko sweet desert- specially made so I could take some back to Wales for my Cypriot family! It was delicious! Picked up some Pastitsio and feta/spinach pie. Nottingham is so lucky to have Kalimera on your doorstep! Perfect food and friendly owners!”
“Beautiful grub, great coffee and a view you won't forget. Outdoor seating, dog friendly. It's the perfect place to go and watch the ducks and Bexs is top notch, always happy and friendly. defo recommend the ice cream”
“Nice service and great food! Definitely try the sushi and sashimi dinner set (28 pounds including 12 pieces of sashimi, 6 pieces of sushi and 6 pieces of nigiri ( roughly) and dessert!!! Hot sake is also nice to try!”
“Fantastic service and very polite very happy. Great food and great coffee.”
“Used to visit this cafe before Covid went back whilst in the area only to find out it now has new owners. The new owners were really nice and the service was excellent. If you visit during lunch try the new chicken burger meal they’ve added to the menu it’s delicious and reasonably priced.”
“I often go to either the Sherwood or Trinity Square branch and I am never disappointed, all the way from the excellent service down to the outstanding food, both the variety and flavour are on point, today I had my first take out breakfast due to working from home, and I am even more impressed by the clean and tidy packaging and consistency in terms of quality when taking it home! The lady who completed my order was so kind! Thank you so much, you are all amazing !”
“This café was a delightful find! I stopped in to get some work done and was pleasantly surprised by how reliable and fast the WiFi was – perfect for a productive few hours. The food was absolutely delicious – it had that comforting, home-cooked feel that’s hard to come by in most cafés. Their cappuccino deserves a special mention – rich, creamy, and perfectly balanced. The ambience is warm and welcoming, with a cozy vibe that makes you want to linger. Though the staff were clearly busy, they were still attentive and friendly, which made the experience even better. The only downside was the strong food smell inside, likely because the kitchen is open to the seating area. There is outdoor seating, which would’ve been a great alternative, but unfortunately it was too cold and windy on the day I visited. Overall, despite that small drawback, I’d highly recommend this place – whether you're looking to relax, catch up on work, or just enjoy a fantastic meal and coffee.”
“The food at White Rabbit Tea House is full of flavour, beautifully presented, and clearly prepared with attention to detail. I love the atmosphere – it’s cosy and charming, even though the space is a bit small, it makes it feel welcoming and intimate. Please do visit – it’s such a lovely independent shop and really worth supporting!”
“The perfect local cafe, lovely staff, clean tables, gorgeous food. went in to grab a drink with a classmate to get some work done for university, whilst it was busy part of the duration we were there, it was quiet and we were able to focus on getting our work done and still be able to hear each other despite talking in low voices. quick service despite it being busy, an ideal location to hold a meeting.”
“Took my two dogs here for a coffee date with a friend. The staff member was super friendly and welcoming to the dogs and provided them with treats. Lovely clean Cafe .100% recommended”

“One of my favourite local sit in cafes for a cooked breakfast, staff friendly, place is very clean , and the food is always red hot (served on a hot plate) good broad selection of food and drinks, just remember to bring cash as they are a cash only restaurant:)”
“You get exactly what you ask for, I like well done bacon with a soft egg and a little tomato, which not many cafes do as good as this. Also a very good selection of home made cakes too. Thanks to Bake N cobs very good food as I like it M &J”
