“Best thai food i have had in and around Exeter. The staff were amazing, very friendly, funny and attentive to everyone in our group. I have a peanut allergy and felt very well catered for and assured everything was done with my allergy in mind. Been here twice within the past couple months, great experience both times with excellent food. Hats off to all the amazing staff especially Ollie, Ollie and molly and all the kitchen staff. “We were recommended to try this restaurant. I called in through the day to ask if very well behaved dogs and partners were allowed. The dog sat under the table with no-one having knowledge that she was there. (Win win when on holiday), partner did get a chair and a beer! Service and food absolutely fantastic. Well recommended to visit. We had a small starter, main with a side order (not needed) ending with two very full bellies. Meat moussaka and the Veg moussaka. Tasting just perfect. Thank you”

We had chicken Kara and chicken dumplings to start, together with Nakata Japanese Plum Wine and Pinot Grigio for my partner. For our mains we’ve chosen chicken curry ramen and a lot of sushi! We had Salmon Mango Sushi Roll, Spicy Tuna, Black Tiger Tempura Prawn, California Roll and Salmon Avocado Roll! We’ve tried Takara Plum Wine as well! Everything was extremely fresh and simply delicious! Our favourite was Salmon Mango Sushi roll and Nakata Plum wine. There are sooooo many options to choose from! We can not wait for our next visit! “What a find! We stumbled across ‘Block’ whilst pottering with our two little dogs. We sat outside in a lovely quiet street. Service from these guys is amazing! So attentive. treats for the dogs and super friendly and welcoming. Then there’s the food! All fresh and full of flavour and a great menu with a few nice twists. As my partner put it “you could taste the love”. Will definitely come here again and a refreshing change from the usual pub food in the area.”

“We discoved KUKU during our first visit to Plymouth and had a lovelydining experience! Conveniently located in the city centre, we managed to get a table without a booking on a Sunday evening, which was a pleasant surprise considering how busy it was. We were celebrating our anniversary, and KUKU turned out to be the perfect spot. The atmosphere was lovely—cosy yet elegant, with a warm and welcoming vibe. Despite the bustling crowd, the service was fast, friendly, and genuinely impressive. Our waiter was polite, attentive, and took the time to engage in a nice conversation with us. We shared a bottle of white wine that was crisp and refreshing. The miso soup was rich and comforting, and the Tokyo Special my partner ordered was so delicious. The noodles were perfectly crispy, and the sushi platter we shared was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious.The sushi was truly some of the best we’ve ever had - incredibly fresh and full of flavour. To top off an already fantastic evening, the staff surprised us with a complimentary ice cream dessert with chocolate sauce after hearing we were celebrating our anniversary - a thoughtful and heartwarming gesture that made the experience even more special.
