“Slightly biased as have been coming here since the early 80s, and although we miss the old style pub, it could have ended up much worse than it is design wise. Food quality is back on an even keel and is consistently of good quality and presentation this taking away that level of apprehension you feel when you go to so many restaurants these days. “Amazing time in this restaurant, friendly atmosphere and staff, great for the money and the choices of meat and sides ( mains and puddings) were delicious!!! Great carpark around the corner... so you can relax and eat as much as you want! For 2 people we spent £71 which is reasonable for drinks and a 3 course meal. You can also go for a nice walk around the marina once you've eaten! Brilliant!!!”

“I had planned a day trip to Southampton and was researching for ages on where to get food, I was torn between herbies pizza and another Chinese takeaway, I’m glad I chose herbies! The pizza was only 9.99 for a large (a deal for collection) so my expectations weren’t super high but I was impressed! Personally I don’t like a super crunchy crust and their crust was soft with the perfect amount of crunch and tasted amazing! The pizza took around 15 mins to cook which is understandable as it’s cooked fresh. It wasn’t too greasy and came with a garlic and herb dip. The guy at the counter was lovely too. I will definitely come back here on my next trip to Southampton!”

Lovely Moon Roast coffee and brilliant service especially from Kai. They’re also pet friendly - and perfect for a takeaway if you don’t have time to eat in. Such a fabulous establishment and we’re so lucky to have them here in Netley Abbey!”

“Had an amazing time at Turtle Bay for bottomless brunch for my friend’s hen do! From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was buzzing and the drinks started flowing quickly. A special shoutout to Eloise, who made the whole experience even better. She was incredibly efficient, always making sure our glasses were topped up without us needing to ask. She was also friendly and genuinely warm, checking in with us regularly and making sure everything was spot-on. “Hursley Cafe is definitely the café we’ve visited the most since moving to Southampton. With its great value for money, we find ourselves coming here almost every Sunday. This is a record of our visit two weeks ago, after our eldest daughter and her friend finished rugby practice in Eastleigh. We ordered Egg Royale, Lasagne, a Kids’ Meal, Mocha, and Hot Chocolate. The food quality was excellent, and the portions were generous. This café gets extremely busy on Sunday mornings, so we highly recommend calling ahead to make a reservation to avoid long waiting times.”

“We go there every week, I've celebrated birthdays there, it's always wonderful! Wonderful attention, wonderful food and quality / price! Have you tried their ramen? It's just amazing too. There's only one thing I never get to know, and that's the recipe for hot barbecue sauce, heck guys! I would die for that hot sauce!! We will be back soon! By the way, if you want to try something different and originally from Korea... Try the plum Soju + asahi beer, ask the employees how to prepare it, are you ready for something so delicious?”

“Located in a quite spot, this place has its own parking so no hassles when you arrive. The menu options are well laid, with table service as standard. The staff is really helpful and polite. I visited with family and was pleasantly surprised that nothing we asked for was too much for them - baby chair, veg options, or tweaking the sandwich that little bit extra. Other than the excellent food, there is a charity hut at the rear garden. You can contribute at the main desk when you come in to the cafe.”
