“I love the service in this restaurant. The staff is always super nice and helpful and the food is ready in few minutes. I used to come here regularly when I lived in Reading and now I returned when I came back for holiday. The kebabs are always big and if you get to finish one then you're probably going to be full, which I really love. The sauces are good and the menu/box is a really big portion. The fries are always great! Now they also have a pink coconut infused bread which they said it's a bit smaller than the regular normal one but I could barely see the difference. Super recommended!”

“The Kobeda Palence has wide range of tasty dishes available. Is is a moderatly big restraint wich is quite airy and spacious. This restraint has some unique style high backed chairs and tables. (See photoes). There is also a A.T.M machine within this restrant. There is a take-away bar here as well as plenty of indoor seating available. The food quality is Amazing and delicious, and I would come again. Kobeda Palace is located on Oxford Road, Reading, and is only a minute wald from Tesco Extra.”

“Let’s start with the fact that I’m a fan of Pizza Express anyway, so a good review is not really a surprise. You always know what you’re going to get, good food and service. Today I took four adults and nine children to Bracknell for a birthday lunch. Pasquale booked us in, made us very welcome. Our server was Vio, she was outstanding, patient and efficient and always served us with a smile. When it came cake time, she took the time to set the candles and bring the cake to the table for the happy birthday song. Thank you for helping make a good day great.”

“We used to get this delivered when we lived in bramley and it was lush.. tho the week day balti had a lot more taste than the weekend delivery so thinking maybe two different chefs..now moved back to Basingstoke we tried several places for a balti and none have come close to how tasty this one is.. it’s definitely our favourite Indian takeaway by far . “Best pizza that I have had in a long, long time. I had a Hot Bite which had great flavour as well as the heat and their special garlic bread with cheese is out of this world. They also had a gluten free option which kept my wife happy and seemed to have plenty of meal deal options. Cheers guys. Will definitely be back”

“Great spot for Sunday lunch. Quite reasonable prices too for families considering that kids under 12 can eat for free. The roast beef was cooked nicely without being overdone and the Yorkshire pudding was suitably moist. There's outside seating when the weather is good and a small but serviceable wine list.”

“This is probably my favourite chinese takeaway, always very friendly and helpful. Meets dietary requirements such as gluten-free. Food tastes great and is always high quality. It feels like such a welcoming place, e.g. We once went there wanting fish and chips, but it said "no fish and chips, fryer is broken." We went in and said,"we were going to order fish and chips, but we see the fryer broke." She thought for a second and said, "No, you're regular, we make especially for you." This really made my day, and as a bonus, every time it's someone's birthday and we go, they give us fortune cookies for free!”

“This place serves just about the best fish and chips I have eaten anywhere, I can’t rate / recommend highly enough. The food is absolutely spot on and friendly, cheerful service too. Good value at £9.10 for small cod, chips and mushy peas which were generous portion sizes. The fish is cooked freshly to order and has a nice crunchy batter and perfectly cooked white fish inside. The chips from here are absolutely fantastic - cooked to perfection with a nice golden brown colour, crispy on the outside and soft potato inside. Whatever their cooking process is, double frying, and choice of potato they have it just right and consistently so. I can only assume that the people giving bad reviews are those who like their chips to be the soggy wet undercooked mess all stuck together and stuck to the paper that some other places seem to think it’s acceptable to serve - ignore them, this is fish and chips at its very best!”

“Me and my friend went to Hungry Birds to find a cheap and good quality snack to keep us fueled for the rest of the day and we ordered an oreo waffle which I would say took quite long to get but it was definitely worth it. About halfway into me and my friend eating boss man gave us a free portion of chips. I WILL go again”

The quality of the food was very good and the takeaway food packaging (for salads with dressing, dough balls, pizza, etc) was very well thought out to prevent leaks and avoid grease going through pizza boxes, whilst being 100% recyclable. “Went with family for a dinner. Indian food served with Kerala taste and spices. And they serve Halal meat. Nice ambience. Easy to identify from even heavy traffic.Nice and small restaurant with ample seating. Typical Kerala food !! Enjoyed every bit of Kappa(tapioca)biriyani and Kappa with fish curry was awesome. I tried Beef fry and beef ularthiyath.Both were excellent but I expected beef fry bit more dry than ularthiyath. Both went well with traditional appam. Kids also enjoyed appam and fish curry. Kappa biriyani (mutton) was pure tradition blend. Thalassery biriyani was not dum but rice was khaima small rice.Since we were in Thalassery before and tasted authentic one before , biriyani was not as expected,but was not bad. Kerala porotta was nice with beef.Masala tea was so good. Tried a mango lassi as well , and lassi was superb. What I felt fantastic was the serving speed . Never seen a hotel in Uk serving that quick. Very friendly and polite staff. Very pocket friendly restaurant. Will definitely visit again. Parking in the front of the shop is paid parking for 2 hours.”
