“Can anyone comment on Reading Grammar’s boarding experiences? I have an 11 year-old considering it.”
“Lovely school, children & staff are wonderful”
“My kids love the classes every Saturday!”
“We are very happy about the multi-dimensional activities at the school. The school is well equipped with modern and appropriate facilities. The teaching and non teaching staff is immensely cooperative and supportive. The school is quite careful about the safety and security of the students. The cultural and behavioral aspects are also well focused and balanced by the school. - Mr. Sukhad Kulkarni”
“Alison (Aly) in the garment making class was a fantastic teacher, many many years experience, incredibly personable and so knowledgeable, not just in the subject but also on how to teach and keep the class motivated.”
“Absolutely the best school in Reading in my opinion. They have the most friendly, entertaining and supportive staff, lots of opportunities to develop and excel in your career, best quality education, great subject options, really fun and educative dropdown days and employer workshops. Take it from me as being a student here that this is the best school that you will ever go to.”
“My kids absolutely loved the dev centre at Garth Hill, had the biggest smiles on their faces when they left and can't wait to go back. Big thank you to Alan for making them feel so welcome!”
“I attended Vicky’s class for Reiki 1 and what a wonderful day it was. Vicky is so welcoming, supportive and positive I am so glad I chose to learn with her. It was a small personal class with some wonderful like minded people and you come away with so much knowledge and full of positive energy. Thank you so much Vicky, I will be keeping an eye out for dates I can attend for the next course xx”
“Both of my boys have started learning to swim here and have been progressing really well through the different levels. All of the swimming instructors are excellent – professional, patient, and very encouraging. You can really see the results in the water, and the boys are always excited to come back because they enjoy it and have fun. A special thanks to Huss, Charlotte, and Kara for their great teaching and support. Highly recommended place if you want your children to learn to swim with confidence!”
“We’ve just come back from another fabulous trip with Steppin out, this time performing in the iconic Blackpool Tower. The kids were amazing, and all their hard work really paid off. They shone like the stars that they are. If you’re looking for the best performing arts school then look no further, this is it. As a family we’ve made lifelong friends and our daughter loves every minute of it. I couldn’t recommend it more.”
“Shaheen and Blanch are amazing – always attentive, professional, and skilled at understanding exactly what I want. The results are consistently flawless, and I leave feeling confident and refreshed every time. Highly recommend for anyone looking for quality service and a friendly experience.”
“Fantastic and inclusive swimming school! My daughter has recently moved to Little Dolphins swim school from a previous school and has made so much progress in a short amount of time. She loves going to lessons and comes out of the lesson full of smiles. The teachers are kind, understanding, accommodating and will answer any questions you have. Fantastic safeguarding and saftey procedures in place. Clear communication. Highly recommend!”
“A gorgeous complex. The central square is a world away from the bustling city outside. The chapel is amazing.....the artwork behind the altar is one of a kind. Breathtaking.”
“Sandra and GBS Swim School are brilliant. The staff really make it. They're all really knowledgeable, kind and encouraging. They know their stuff. Small classes of no more than 6 and two members of staff in the pool with the children for beginners. My son is autistic and has ADHD. He had really struggled with lessons at a leisure centre. He had developed a fear of the water and he would get stressed and anxious even crossing bridges of shallow water. He's learned so much and he is such a confident and able swimmer now because of his lessons at GBS Swim School. He even jumps in at the deep end when we're at the pool as a family. Highly recommend.”
“Stopped in Athlete Service in the middle of a long ride after a friend’s cleat broke. Rob was incredibly friendly and helpful, and broke one of his few remaining packs of pedals to replace said cleat. Great selection of brands and products in store; if I lived in Henley I would be delighted to have this as my local bike shop!”
“Has got to be one of the most beautiful colleges in Oxford. Phenomenal architecture.”
“Founded in 1249 by William of Durham, University College (or Collegium Magnae Aulae Universitatis, as its Latin name states) is one of the oldest colleges in the University of Oxford. Next to the marvellous sandstone quadrangles, beautifully maintained and always adorned by splendid floral arrangements, Univ (as it is known amongst Oxonians) features a marble memorial to the poet Percy Shelly, a former student of the college banned for his heretical writings. Many of the treasures, such as a tiny door in the 90 High St building which may well have been an inspiration for a similar door in Lewis Carroll's Alice in Wonderland, are not usually accessible to the general public, since Univ does not regularly admit visitors. If asked politely, the porters will usually allow visitors to see the Shelley Memorial, and even the magnificent chapel with its stained glass windows.”
“Excellent University of Oxford for an annual law conference to update my legal knowledge and a really clean and tidy study bedroom with excellent views from your window and access to the City centre only a short walk away. Really pleased to have networked at an annual law conference and made all new contacts and interested buyers of my new first book Parachuting in the name of Charity released soon with Olympia Publishers in London available on Amazon when available.”
“First started bringing my eldest here and then my second. I love how calm it is compared to big soft plays with older ones running around, perfect for smaller ones. Super clean and great if you have anyone with allergies. Sally and the team are really friendly and nothing is too much for them. We especially love the themed party days.”
“We got married on 31st may this year at old luxters barn and used the business school the night before to stay and get ready on the morning of the wedding. I cannot recommend this place enough! The booking was made easy and we were given 2 big bridal suite rooms to use which were ideal when getting ready with there being a big group of us! The staff were incredibly helpful and professional and could not do enough for us! The beds are super comfy and rooms were immaculate meaning I had a great nights sleep before the big day! Breakfast started early And was lovely! A lot of our guests used the business school to stay on the night of the wedding and all said how great it was. I would definitely use this place again!”
