“A great place to spend a day here. There is a miniature train here. It’s popular with kids and grown up kids. Lots of parking spaces and it’s free to park. Make sure to leave the car park by 8:00 pm. It might change with the season but in summer it is 8:00 pm. You can walk along the Basingstoke canal and enjoy the view.”

“What an incredible hidden gem. This nature walk offers a pleasant mix of waterside scenery, meadowland, and woodland edges. The bird watching is fantastic with nature stops along the way. A big lake that supports both wildlife and recreational use.There is free parking also on Swan Lane which has plenty of spaces.”

My daughter loves the special bread and cheese which comes as a complimentary starter. All lamb and chicken dishes which we tried many times were amazing. My go to dessert is baklava and a Turkish coffee to finish. Really good menu has something for everyone and drinks are good too. Service and atmosphere are smooth and pleasant and contribute to always a first class experience.”

“I had a needle stick accident and despite explaining to 111 that I had completed the appropriate first aid and the needles were mine, the lady asked me to go to A&E in the next hour. She insisted. To say I was alarmed is an understatement. Note this is 2am. So I get to the hospital (my first time at an A&E) and I pleasantly surprised. The entrance is well lit and with clear signage and checking in at reception was speedy (they were courteous and efficient and had all my details from 111), they also took the time to update my details. The triage was also quick, efficient and the nurse was courteous. The waiting area was clean and clear and comfortable. When I finally saw the doctor, he said I came in for nothing. The risk was zero, I had taken the right steps and there was no additional help/support he could provide. To say I was upset is an understatement. Not at the doctor, but the 111 team who sent me there. Additionally, the reason I had no complaints and chalked it up to one of life’s detours, was I arrived at the hospital around 4:30am and was out by 5:30am. In A&E! I’ve had longer waits at my GP! I know this is anomaly for emergency departments but the team is efficient so it helps a lot. Now we just need 111 to stop wasting resources by sending people without urgent conditions to A&E!”

“Super warm and friendly staff, free parking and clean rooms. Whilst the hotel is in town, which means shops and restaurants are a few min walk away, it was still very quiet. We had a great sleep and would highly recommend a stay at this travelodge if ever travelling in/through Camberley.”

The duty pharmacist, Laila, was so helpful, she phoned through to the doctors to get an emergency prescription so I wouldn't have to be without my medication, and she was so kind. “Two of the party of three haven't been here for many years. Can confirm it's still a great family run restaurant (since 1989) greeted by the owner, made to feel welcome and shown to our table.
