“This was my third stay at Millstream Mews, this time in the lovely Fiddlesticks. It's not just comfortable but positively luxurious - and outrageously clean! How Richard manages to keep the properties in such tip-top condition with guests who enjoy all the muddy outdoor activities that the area offers I do not know, but he does, and in a very friendly, efficient and unobtrusive manner. It's not just the accommodation itself that is first class, but also the location. While quietly tucked away and private, you are just a few minutes easy and pleasant walk from the centre of Bakewell itself, which has every amenity you could possibly need for your stay. Bryce clearly wants his guests to have a great time, every time, and I am already looking forward to my next visit.”

“Fabulous B&B, stayed 2 nights for Kleznorth in Youlgreave could have stayed much long. Ken & Carol very friendly welcoming hosts. Had the place to ourselves, a real home from home. Location couldn't be better right in the centre of the village.”

“I have just finished a crochet for beginners course. It was fantastic, I have learnt so much and really enjoyed attending. Karen was friendly and nothing was too much trouble. I was one of a group of 6, everyone had different capabilities but that didn't matter. Definitely would recommend the course to anyone.”

“I’ve just finished a 20 minute massage with Emily. Her consultation was thorough & showed an understanding of the issues I was having. She was respectful when consulting afterwards as we were in the reception area with other members of staff behind her. Although it was only a discussion about tension, she valued my privacy and kept the conversation quiet. Despite going there initially due to lots of lower back pain I left feeling lighter in my upper back and encouraged to have another massage. I only wish it could’ve been for longer! Thank you”

“Easy to see why this is a Good Beer Guide CAMRA 2023 pub. Proper town centre two room pub with an older cliental opposite the station. Madge went for Acorn Barnsley bitter as the very short lived British August Summer ended in a downburst. Really love the traditional back lounge. Madge took a pint of Acorn Barnsley bittet. Lovely. Nice place to start or finish a Doncaster pub crawl.”

“Excellent location for access to trams, taxi, public transport. Great staff and apartment, clean, comfortable, modern, lovely shower. Staff very helpful and accommodating. Had no parking issues with permit. Visiting from Canada to family so very easy to travel from here to different locations around the area. Some noise from trams but if you want convenience for shopping, eating out, take away, bars, etc this place is great. Trams stop at midnight. Used earplugs for sleeping and had no issues at all. Thanks to all staff for making our trip so easy. We will definitely be back.”

“Wonderful reception Staff. I stay in a lot of Premier inns for work and always get a nice greeting at reception but I have to say the greeting and service I received today was by far the best experience I have ever had. Nothing was to much trouble from the early check in to sorting breakfast the reception staff were helpful and so friendly. Highly recommended”

“Fantastic for young children! Frankly I was envious places like this didn't exist when I was little (or at least that's what my parents told me). Grab some good food while you're here, I'd recommend the chocolate brownie!”

“Stayed here while visiting the Peak District for climbing and driving to the various climbing spots was a breeze. Lots of choices for a drink and a meal afterwards in Chesterfield, more than if staying in the Peaks (accommodation was cheaper here as well). Planning to come and stay again now that the weather has improved.”

“A meal costs 12 pounds, and you can choose your own dishes, about 20 or so, and rice, vegetables and soup are refillable.”

“Absolute gem of a place. Made a very last minute booking but still got an amazing price. Breakfast included, decent wifi. Lovely room, nice living room and bathroom facilities. Absouloutly perfect for what I needed.”
