“Nice quiet wee motorway stop off, when we were there it was quiet, but still well staffed. Coffee was surprisingly Starbucks and the tea was good too and there is a pretty standard range of sandwiches, snacks and cakes. Toilets are fresh, well maintained and clean, there is a small but functional carpark and a drive through window.”

We thoroughly enjoyed the food here, trying oysters for the first time – we didn’t dislike them, but not sure they’re one of our favourite foods haha (no fault of the restaurant of course)! We also really liked the pork, duck and of course the desserts, especially the apple crumble tart. We have a lovely evening, meeting some other fellow food lovers, and would hope to return to this beautiful hotel to experience much more of what it has to offer. My only gripe was paying £12 for a large wine and £6 for a bottle of water!!”
