“Had a lovely family walk around the lake at Thrybergh Country Park. The sunny yet Autumnal weather was glorious and the lake was so clear, it was really impressive. The flat and level path around the lake was a nice steady walk and on a Saturday afternoon didn't seem too busy with dog walkers and joggers. Approximately 50% of the path around the lake is relatively new tarmac, with the rest compacted material with a few puddles, but nothing difficult to navigate. The small playground entertained my kids for about half an hour and me and my wife enjoyed a great and competitively priced coffee from the cafe to enjoy on the benches nearby. I was thoroughly impressed with how free from litter the whole county park was. It was noticeably clean and tidy, so the park rangers are clearly doing a fantastic job.”

“We went for lunch and on arrival the place was buzzing but noisy. Being just a party of 2 the staff were very understanding and we eventually moved to a quieter part of the bar. “I went here on my way to work the morning of 7/12/24. I was getting multiple drinks for my colleagues. There were 2 staff on shift and 1 especially went above and beyond to help me with my drinks as I was worried about getting so many and dropping or spilling the them. I didn’t manage to catch their name but I hope they can identify who it was from the shift pattern and get some recognition. From securing my drinks and labelling each one to opening the door for me definitely 5 star customer service”
