“My two rescue dogs have stayed at Inkersall quite a few times and are always in good condition and happy to go back. The kennels have paddocks which the dogs can run about in. The owner is great with dogs and and our dogs like her. When picking our dogs up they go back for cuddles with her ! At previous kennels my dogs were not interested in the staff at all. The kennels give you updates and are very accommodating.”

“First time we ever used a cattery and we were quite nervous when choosing the right cattery, I knew this is the right cattery for us after I spoken with Ian on the phone for the first time. Ian is extremely helpful and very caring, he loves cats and is incredible at looking after them. We are so happy we chose Rivelin Valley Cattery, our cat was well cared for and we had regular updates including photos. Our cat can get stressed if there are any changes and while she took a few days to adjust Ian made her feel comfortable and she was able to relax and this is due to Ian’s skills and care. Peaches was happy and comfortable and we can’t thank Ian enough, he truly took a great care of our cat. We will definitely come back and I can’t recommend this cattery highly enough. Thank you so much Ian, you are brilliant!”

(Don't tell Layla, she hates it when we go away.)”

“In December 2007 we purchased two pups from Dawn. A Wheaten Border Terrier and a Black & White Miniature Schnauzer. Parents of both were showed to us and true to form the pups have grown into beautiful dogs, reflecting their parents characters and temperaments. The Schnauzer had also been pre screened for hip and eye ailments. Five years later on, both are in excellent health, both have retained their loving temperaments, and the pair are absolutely inseparable ! Dawns standards both for the kennels and as a breeder are second to none, and i can highly recommend her. ***UPDATED APRIL 2018*** My Schnauzer was sadly diagnosed with both glycoma and diabetes in October 2015. After bravely battling with daily insulin injections, and other medications for pancreatitis and kidney problems that developed, as well as drops and gel for her eyes, all at great expence, despite being insured for £7000.00 a year, it wasn't enough ! In insurance excess fees of 20%, charges that were not covered, and costs over the policy limit, she coat me £2700 in her final 11mths. She was put to sleep in November 2017 following kidney faliure, just aged 10yrs. 5mths later I still miss her every moment of every day. I was informed upon diagnosis that Miniature Schnauzers are highly prone to both glycoma and Diabetes, and for this reason, I can neither emotionally or financially go through this stress and heartbreak again. I've had dogs all my life, but this was my first and last Miniature Schnauzer.”
