“I recently stayed at this hotel while attending a Christmas party with my husband and I couldn’t have been more impressed. From the moment I arrived, the atmosphere was warm, festive, and incredibly welcoming. A special shout-out goes to Holly on reception, who was absolutely outstanding. She greeted me with a smile, handled check-in smoothly, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect for my stay. Her friendliness and professionalism truly set the tone for the entire visit. The Christmas party itself was brilliant—great food, lively entertainment, and a lovely festive setup. The staff throughout the hotel were consistently attentive and helpful, making the whole experience feel effortless.”

“Came for a birthday party so first time ive seen this place and think its fantastic. Big play area for the kids and plenty of space for adults to sit and enjoy a drink. (Or in my case a caramel iced latte)”

“We had a beautiful breakfast, staff are amazing. The garden centre and bistro are a must visit, so many varieties of plants to choose from in the garden centre. The inside shop is fantastic too, we particularly love the indoor plant section. Once you’ve finished here they take a relaxing stroll over the road to Cannon hall. Highly recommend”

“First time here and will be back. Had a good walk around we brought a few bits and pieces from the shops inside the centre also there are a few good cafes. Very nice venue.”

“Lovely little place to visit with shops, a garden nursery and shop, a dog shop and groomers, opticians, massage therapist, jewellers and bistro. We had a meal in the bistro and the food was delicious with generous portions. There is a petting zoo area where you can feed the goats with a donation for a pot of food.”

“We booked a birthday party here for a Saturday for our boys 4th and it was excellent, Neil was very communicative and pleasant. The community centre was perfect with all facilities needed. I would recommend it for any events.”

“Had our kitchen fitted , Fantastic professional service from start to finish Alex and Danny helped bring our dream kitchen to life. With lots of touches we had not even considered. They provided a bespoke service from sites visits and measurements checked every step of the way. Communication great with updates from Sian and quality products and competitive prices. Alex came out and checked we were happy with everything after the kitchen was fitted Sian sorted and registered all our guarantees for the appliances. Would not hesitate to recommend and we would definitely use the company again.”

“My little boy had attended Mini Mes Nursery from being 8 month old, he has always enjoyed coming and now attends the holiday club. The ladies are fantastic and have always treat him like their own, spacious outdoor areas and the babies have their own outdoor space. They do a range of messy activities in each room and have a home cooked meal daily … I will definitely recommend Mini Mes to friends and family.”

Jonny was great to deal with prior to the event, and all the band were so professional on the day and really got the party started! He feels safe here and loves the staff here and they love him as their own. This nursery is a home from home where my child feels safe to be unequivocal himself. They promote independence, curiosity and kindness here. He is taught a solid education putting him in excellent stead to begin school but also how to be empathetic, polite and crucial life skills. The team are continuously achieving extensive qualifications and supported to gain degrees and postgraduate qualifications. I couldn’t recommend the nursery enough. Jo’s ethos and vision for the nursery is more than I could have hoped for.”
