“My daughter got married here recently and it was an absolutely amazing day. She married outside in the beautiful gardens which was so lovely. The food was absolutely delicious and the venue room looked fantastic. The evening food of pie and peas was delicious. The staff were lovely and very attentive to all our needs. We stayed the night the rooms very nice they were clean and the beds very comfortable and to round our stay off a great breakfast too.”

Suzanne took my mother to the self service trolley tills , scanned her shop, packed her bags, wheeled the trolley to her car , loaded the car , returned the trolley and gave her back the trolley token ! You were so kind Suzanne and you went far above the call of duty. You are a credit to Asda and my Mother wanted me to express and display your sheer kindness . A big thank you, and she’ll be back !”

“Truly excellent stay, great value for money the hotel is perfectly situated at the end of the high street so plenty of shops and places to eat nearby. The property is well maintained and beautifully clean. Retford is a cracking little town. Room came with a fan, only real downside is that the room was warm due to no air conditioning however we visited peak of summer.”

“I've been coming here for a while now with my mother the food is always good I either get a panini or a burger but always with some coleslaw on the side. Which is homemade the waitresses are always polite and friendly and laugh at my lame jokes. This cafe also opens really early in the mornings and you can order lunch if you don't want breakfast the cook knows what he's doing it takes a good meal to make a 260 pound man happy I will continue to come here for some decent and stomach filling food.”
