“First Breakfast visit , WOW , what a fantastic welcome from every single member of staff on duty 1/11/25 , we came into contact with including chef , it was very obvious it’s a lovely place to work , everyone presented as enjoying work , very friendly, informative , helpful and engaging , the restaurant was lovely and clean , what a lovely cooked breakfast, I had 2 today , the continental choice was lovely and the choice of drinks available puts any other chain to shame . We will definitely be back and we are letting all our friends know we loved our visit. I do hope we won’t be disappointed in future visits, but somehow I don’t think so , well done everyone”

Very professional right through the process. Products are quality and the fitters where excellent cleaning up at the end of each day and taking all the old stuff away. My wife and I could not be more please with the service and love our new kitchen.”

“Kids love it but today we had lunch it something we always do but no more one Sausage and 10 chips for 3.95 the same went for the chicken nuggets 4 nuggets 10 chips and one adult chip which was so small I think they must have dropped half of them next.time we go.home for lunch”

“stayed for 2 nights, everything you need in the hotel and a good price too. Shared bathrooms were always clean and nicely done up. Free parking out back. Heating could be turned up or down in my room (no set temp which was really nice). Cosy bed. Great bar downstairs with lovely staff, which serves food until 8pm. Doesn't do breakfast (only google maps seems to think this, their website and other booking sites don't say they do either) but lots of affordable cafes in Worksop within walking distance that do a proper fry up. Can't fault it, and much friendlier place to stay than a premier inn etc.”

“Beautiful meal on Friday evening. I had the herb crusted cod, the freshest fish I've ever had (and I love my fish) and it was a lovely thick piece cooked to perfection. It was served with asparagus and a variety of fresh vegetables also cooked expertly. The butter sauce was divine! My husband had the lamb curry which had a lot of good sized chunks of lamb in it and again was perfect. Not our first visit, had many tasty meals here, it just gets better and better. Highly, highly recommend this exquisite charming country pub with impressive decor and food to match!”

“Had a phenomenal time here last weekend with my good friends. Good value for money, each lodge comes with its own TV and WiFi router (15mbps down / 31mbps up / 92ms) so can stream YouTube perfectly fine and great for entertainment. There’s a lovely café and shop on-site where you can buy snacks. There lodge itself has a hot shower and is modern and cosy. Really nice location”

“I contacted Caroline to enquire whether an old piece of "brown" bedroom furniture could be updated in appearance for continued use, as in every other respect it was in good condition and fitted perfectly into the space where I wanted it placed. I met with her to discuss my thoughts and she gave me lots more options to think about. Having agreed what I wanted her to do, Caroline sourced the materials and the work was completed within a week at a price I was very happy to pay. I am now the proud owner of a lovely rejuvenated piece of furniture thanks to Caroline.”
