“Fantastic course for the money. Not pretentious or pretending to be something they're not. Course is in great condition and the drainage is immense. When other courses are closing, or adjusting to winter greens, College Pines stays open. Brilliant”
“Great guys! Super happy with my discs! easy service and quick delivery. As a novice player they’ve also offered me helpful advice to get started in the sport #beawesome!”
“Mick and Dave are the pinnacle of old fashioned service with a smile. It's difficult to find words to praise them enough. After a short time of 'teeth sucking' they repaired my old tricycle golf buggy. It's my lifeline to playing golf, which is my passion. Thank you gentleman, you are wonderful.”
“Amazing lesson that’s the best lesson I e had in a long while, Jason quickly assessed what I was doing wrong and I went from a fade to a slight drastic and 15 mph increase in club head speed! The use of his years of experience with today modern technology was amazing thank you”
“Have lessons through Callum which benefit my game, the video analysis of my swing has helped me see what I've been doing wrong and the practice drills Cal has given me have helped to improve both my long and short game. Club fitting service is first class, called in one afternoon and had a putter regrip completed within 10 minutes. Very professional, would recommend.”
“Disc golf uk is awesome. They are super friendly, have a huge stock of discs and other equipment, and do free shipping if you spend enough...”
“Very helpful pro, good experience when I shopping there every single time.”
“What a place, we came here a few years ago and had a great time then….and the site has been improved further since to make it even more comfortable and luxurious. The new tents are large and homely, the kitchen areas attached to each area are well kitted out and the amenities and indoor areas around the site in case of bad weather have grown. Will be keen to come back again :)”
“Darwin forest lodges is a brilliant self catering lodges. The Lodge had everything we needed, it was spotlessly clean. They is a swimming pool, soft play area. Golf, spa, pool table, restaurant. The staff are very friendly and if you need help with anything they well help you. They is some lovely walks which is easy for small children. I would very highly recommend it.”
“Went to see the horizon sculptures in the parkland, apart from parking cost(£5.00)it is free. Well worth a visit.”
“Still the same giant slide from when I was little and visited here. Nice park and a little cafe including toilets. Car park could be a bit better as not much room for many cars.”
“I recently stayed at this beautiful quaint hotel near the historic Chatsworth House and Gardens, and it was absolutely delightful. The atmosphere is so full of charm! It is so cozy, quiet, and filled with character. You can feel the history of the area from the moment you arrive. The rooms were beautifully kept, with thoughtful touches that made the stay feel personal and warm. Try the Chatsworth shortbread cookies, they are delicious! The Cavendish is the perfect place to unwind after exploring the nearby historic sites, hiking or strolling through the local charming towns. The staff were welcoming and attentive, always ready with local recommendations - especially Stephen who was extremely nice and very helpful. The setting is so peaceful. If you’re looking for a relaxing, charming stay near history and hospitality, this is the place to be.”
“The VIP experience here was absolutely fantastic, holding reptiles, small mammals, baby goats, feeding lambs, picking eggs from the chicken coops. My 3 year-old absolutely loved it and Lauren the animal keeper who took us on the tour was super friendly. Fantastic value - we will be back! Topped off with a delicious ice-cream!”
“Enjoyed the roast dinner sitting outside in the sunshine one late April Sunday. Great pint of Landlord, too. Themed nights including Caribbean. Nice pub with contemporary decor that has kept some traditional features inside, with the added outside area having been created to a great standard. Bikes zooming past along Chesterfield Road a bit annoying but the food distracted from that. Choice of beef, chicken or gammon, large freshly made yorkies, cauliflower cheese, a massive boat of gravy and accompanying veg. Good portion.. although it needed to be at £16! I would mention more about the high price of a Sunday lunch here, was it not for the fact that it was blooming delicious!! Grandma's Bread and butter pudding to finish (bloody lovely Grandma) and a couple of pints of Rutland ale. Great pub and well positioned for local walks before or after to Ashover and beyond. Great food, Good beer selection, well placed to explore the area and make a day of it.”
“Thank you for making us feel so welcome. Cracking venue, good food, great service and so close to Clifton Park for The Reytons”
“Fantastic guys with tonnes of patience. I take my two teenage boy's always come out looking fantastic and are reasonably priced too, would recommend to everyone.”
“We had a small adult meal each £7.50 which comes with chips and side, peas etc. the small fish you get for that was quite big actually, and steak pie was a small slice. Chips were good normal chip shop chips nothing wrong with them. Fish was good. The steak pie was very packed with quality steak which made it's small size totally fine. Friendly staff and it's different that it's table service. Would be nice if they added the sides to the menu. Also, drinks were quite expensive.”
“Wow! We went for breakfast and would definitely go again. The staff were friendly, the restaurant is beautifully presented, nicely lit and comfortable. The food was presented well, hot and very tasty. A good choice of drinks available and a good selection of breakfast options on the menu. Altogether a fantastic experience at The Willow Tree Bistro.”

“Well laid out fishing complex. Catches the sun well for those early season or early morning sessions. Beautiful area. Well stocked ponds. Bailiffs were very helpful and knowledgeable. Lakeside cafe was nice, with good service. Didn't use the onsite tackle shop; however, the other facilities onsite were spot on. A 31 fish day for me. Definitely go again. Didn't use the caravan park of the site but went to this location first, prior to fishing, and in looked nicely tended.”
“This is only my second visit here and we decided to try the carvery and we're glad we did. Quickly served at the bar for drinks and ordering food. No problem finding a table mid week but would be wise to book on a weekend. Had a choice of 3 meats, 3 sorts of potatoes and 7 vegetables. I had the beef & pork with roast potato, roast carrot, broccoli, cauliflower, Swede (thankfully not mashed) white cabbage, leeks, crackling and gravy. I didn't have a Yorkshire pudding but my husband said his was beautiful. Would definitely recommend.”
