“Nice persian restaurant in the city centre. The owner and the staff greeted us very warmly and the persian Kebabs and food were delicious. They also offered us persian tea on the house.”
“Friendly and clean service. Food is made fresh - the chips were nice & crispy with a generous portion. The halloumi burger is the best I've ever had, very tasty! My only negative is that there was no check back by server. Visited 20/09/22”
“Best lunch I have from Winchester. Love this cafe. Plenty space indoor n outdoor seating but most of time it’s full so better to book in advance. Lucky I got table after 20mins. Enjoyed enough food n service by cool staff. Lovely atmosphere, make u feel fresh”
“Love this cafe. Great staff, tasty food, hot drinks and all local too”
“Was recommended this spot for breakfast whilst I waited for my cars MOT. It turned out to be a fantastic recommendation. I had the full English breakfast could probably have had the half but was swayed by the selection. I didn't have to wait too long for it to arrive everything was hot, it did not disappoint. Very friendly staff, you can certainly see that this is a spot where people return time after time but you will be made to feel just as welcome if it is your first visit. Will be back”
“Wonderful food, huge portions, great value for money. Very welcoming place and clearly very popular with locals.”
“Found this little gem - and didn't expect to find this view on my way out of Totton! Small fishing lodge cafe sitting amidst 3 lakes and beautiful views. Service staff were lovely and attentive; happy to chat but not disturbing at all. Wide variety of milkshakes to choose from, after a lovely Full English Breakfast. Will definitely come back.”
“Really enjoyed our breakfast at Bill's. Their big breakfast isn't as big, but was definitely delicious and hence I was able to completely polish it off. They even changed the egg to match my preference. The bacon, baked beans, eggs, mushrooms, and sausages were cooked to perfection. The black pudding however was not my favourite. Their jam and toast martini with vodka was one of my favourite things all day. Definitely try this if you visit.”
“I drop in occasionally when I want to treat myself. Food is always top form and the staff always have a smile for customers.”
“This Thai restaurant is truly delicious! The curry is rich and not greasy, the papaya salad is refreshing, and the Pad Thai has a perfect sweet and sour balance—highly recommended!”
“After walk along the front a nice cuppa is what's required, staff friendly and there is always someone to talk to.”
“Great service excellent customer service and the food was great and not greasy and I had the go large breakfast and my mum had a full English breakfast”
“Great little coffee shop at the top floor of robins nest vintage emporium. You can also access the shop through the back entrance if you can't or would rather not climb stairs. The employee at the register was friendly and informed me and my husband that they had a deal on their cakes and coffee. I ordered a cappuccino and a chocolate walnut slice and my husband ordered a vegan carrot cake and oat milk latte which he was happy about as often he can't have any of the cakes. The windows in the shop are beautiful and the decor and style reminded me of photos I've seen of the Titanic. Our coffee and cakes were very nice and we will be visiting again.”
“I mostly have coffee and the occasional sausage roll, but my son loves their milkshakes.”
“Lovely community church cafe. Only open on Thursday and Saturday mornings. Great coffee, tea and cakes. Warm Welcome assured.”
“This place is perfect haven to grab a few minutes of respite while your little one plays in a totally safe and fun environment. We spent an hour here and it was really nice, the little one loved it and we enjoyed being there with her. There’s food options available and it really retains the cafe feel, and the variety of toys and a small space means you can see your child the entire time (and step in if they get a bit snatchy!). I can see why it’s so popular.”
“Delicious full English breakfasts, cooked to order accompanied by excellent lattes and cappuccinos and homemade cakes. Very friendly.”
“Fantastic food. Ordered the breakfast bap and it was packed with sausage, bacon and eggs. Really generous portions and great customer service. Didn't realise that they allow dogs as I would have brought mine. Totally recommend this x”
“A Great day out, cafe provides good food cooked to order. The brick museum is very informative, please there are loads of things you wouldn't think you would see. There is also a little train you can go on, if you add gift aid you get a free ride.”
“I Highly Recommend Edison’s!!! We tried the iced coffee and another drink at Edison’s, and both were absolutely delicious. But the real standout was the Dubai chocolate pancake, it was out of this world! Rich, indulgent, and perfectly made. The atmosphere was amazing and welcoming, the staff were incredibly friendly, and the overall vibe was amazing. This place truly feels like a hidden gem in Southampton. I highly recommend stopping by.”
“Slightly biased as have been coming here since the early 80s, and although we miss the old style pub, it could have ended up much worse than it is design wise. Food quality is back on an even keel and is consistently of good quality and presentation this taking away that level of apprehension you feel when you go to so many restaurants these days. Shout out to the young ladies and men of the service team who provide a very professional level of service in a pub / restaurant which I know for a fact can suffer from some challenging customers at times...”
“We dropped in to The Kitchen for a quick breakfast of coffee and croissants and were not disappointed by the quality of food and the friendliness and efficiency of the staff. My only complaint is the temperature in the cafe - probably around 15/16°C. Brrrrr! This is not the first time we have experienced it so cold here - it's the reason we stopped coming here regularly.”
“Really tasty breakfast for a great price. Owner was very friendly, we will definitely be back.”
“This little cafe is a must, the food is great quality and the right size portions. Very filling with great flavours. The breakfast bap is a great way too start the day very filling will get you past lunchtime I've ordered from here many times never had a single issue and as a treat I've gone into the sweet little cafe and enjoyed the great experience. Very good service friendly and quick the place is very clean too. If I could change one thing it would be how the entrance door closes it's a bit loud closed to quick just need's adjustment even though I live in Eastleigh with many other cafes of choice I prefer this one and give it ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 10/10”
“Looking for a place to walk our hound and have a slice of cake i stumbled upon woodland cafe on Google maps and decided to give it a try, seeing a woodland around it. It is located within Itchen valley country park and one needs to pay for parking. There is a lovely play walk for the children, go ape, cycle path, bridal path and dog walking paths. A lovely piecefull area. The cafe is inviting and the staff are very friendly.”
“Wonderful experience Brooke very likeable”
“I was travelling from Southampton to Gatwick via M27 and stopped for coffee because Costa was closed on Christmas Day. The guy behind the counter was so genuinely friendly and helpful. He explained why Wild Bean coffee is better than Costa and really encouraged me to return in the future. This guy is a real asset to the company. Mark and Kim”
“The staff today had so much to do, so many people to serve and they did it so well. They were kind and helpful despite it being so hectic. My partner forgot to order my drink and instead of making me que again at the back of a really long que, they got my drink ordered. Thanks!”
“A few days ago I was very kindly helped by the staff after an incident on the quay. The man working there was very supportive, reassuring and helpful, he offered me a safe place to wait . I wasn't even a customer on this occasion, so I felt they deserve a mention for their kindness and "community spirit" Thankyou!”
“To think I lived in the same road for years and never tried it. Busy bustling little place . Great coffee and extensive menu. Food looked good but I opted the the Greek Salad as I was in a diet. At £2.90 for a good sized bowl wax great value .will definitely be back”
