“My son has been at this nursery for 9 months now and I'm so glad we put him in here, especially after being quite isolated during the pandemic. The staff have always gone above and beyond to make me feel at ease, keeping us informed of what he's doing in the baby room and any sharing photo's on the app. They really seem to care about all the children in the nursery and my son will happily walk in or give them a hug at drop off. I cannot recommend this nursery enough!”

“2 of my 3 children have attending/attended smart start on underwood lane and I can safely say the nursery is incredible! Ada-May was a shy little girl who didn’t have much to say to anybody before she started Smart-Start but now she has just started reception and is the loudest child there. Her confidence has grown immensely, her personality has outshone everybody. Smart start really brought out the best in Ada-May! The staff at smart start have also helped my 2nd youngest Addyson-River with her confidence, her speech & personality! Although it is a possibility that Addyson has autism, the staff have not treated Addyson any differently! Which I absolutely cannot thank them enough for! They take Addyson’s needs into huge consideration and still help try grow Addyson’s personality, Steph I can’t thank enough for listening to addy and taking her time to work out Addyson’s needs and communication’s with others. If anyone is to need a nursery to go put their child into smart start I would 110% recommend.”

“My son has been going to Hartford Old School House for the last 6 months, and absolutley loves it! The nursery set up a different range of activities each day, all with the aim and focus of developing different skill sets. My son suffers with his hearing due to ear infections and nursery have gone out of their way to support him with different methods of communication to ensure that his communication doesn't fall behind. We get regular updates and pictures via the app which we love as it allows us to see what he's up to during the day. The nursery do loads of lovely things around special events, such as a garden party with the children for the Kings coronation recently. All the staff are so lovely and welcoming, and the variety of food on offer each day is amazing and all cooked from scratch! I wouldn't hesitate to reccomend Hartford Old School House to any other parents, I'm so happy we found it for our boy!”

“I can not praise this nursery enough. My daughter goes 2 times a week, and appears to love it. The food provided is of very high standard which my daughter seems to love. All staff are brilliant and very helpful. They go out of there way to help whenever and wherever they can, and always with a smile. Lovely atmosphere, full of smiles and all children seem to learn whilst enjoying themselves through play. Every single child and parent is treated in a personal and meaning way. A lot of courses are available for parents to attend, which are brilliant.”

“I honestly cannot praise this nursery enough. Our little one started at 5 months old due to returning to work after maternity leave, and they have been absolutely brilliant with him, his development has come on leaps and bounds, and he loves going which is a bonus. They keep you up to date with everything and nothing is ever too much trouble. Emily in particular (baby room leader) is an absolute diamond and a true credit to the nursery, my little one probably loves her as much as he loves me and his dad, his little face lights up when he sees her on drop off and she is brilliant with all the little ones. But all the staff are lovely and friendly, even ones who are based in other rooms remember you and greet you. The nursery itself is clean, bright and open, and family orientated - baby room has a family tree with pictures of all the baby's families on which I think is a lovely touch. It's safe and secure with lots of activities inside and out in the garden to keep all the little ones busy.”

“Went here for work experience! All the kids and staff were very friendly and helpful to me, even baking a cake for my birthday!! Additionally they offer so many different and helpful activities for all the kids such as toys, painting, reading, music, outdoor play, soft play and so much more. “This Nursery is one of the best for your children to learn at a young age. Both my children have been here and loved it, they have a small animal corner which the children love learning about and seeing them every time they go. Staff are very friendly and will help with anything you need and if you have any problems the manager is always there to help. The Nursery it self is very clean and child safe and food is spot on”
