“No parking onsite but there is a car park in the pub next door and a large car park 30 seconds down the road, waited around 5 mins for someone to get our reservation and seat us( this was a Saturday night and busy), after we were seated the service was excellent, lots of drinks to chose from especially whiskey and whiskey flights. The food was too good for words perfectly smoked and seasoned tasted amazing I would highly recommend. Portion sizes were decent too.”

The canal side location makes it a beautiful place to sit and watch the narrow boats and ducks etc. All of the staff were extremely friendly and always happy to help with all of our dietary requests. The food was incredible! Extremely reasonably priced and the quality was incredible too. “Our family favourite in Nepalese cuisine, this restaurant is a must-visit. We had the pleasure of dining here recently with friend and we were blown away by the delicious mixed grill and momos we had as starters. This was not our first time dining at this restaurant, and we can confidently say that it has consistently delivered delicious food at a great price. Additionally, there is plenty of space for parking, making it a convenient option for those driving in. The ambiance of the restaurant is clean and functional, with no luxury or frills, but it is welcoming and comfortable nonetheless. The service was excellent, with friendly and attentive staff who made sure our dining experience was pleasant.”

“Last minute decision to eat out this evening and fancied a curry. Narvana had been recommended previously by a work colleague. We weren't disappointed. The restaurant was clean and atmospheric, the food was beautiful and fresh with plenty of flavour, not over powered with spices. Portions were bigger than expected, and the naan bread appeared to be homemade which is a rarity. The service was efficient, polite and attentive without being obtrusive. Highly recommended.”

“Short version: Fantastic B&B to which we'd happily return. Our hosts were exceptionally welcoming and personable and were very happy to help us out wherever they could; in my case, using the warm, dry, shed to replace a tubless bicycle tyre which had given up on the idea of retaining air inside it. The room was great and everything felt 'just so'. It's unashamedly at the more premium feeling end of the market and worth every penny of our stay there. Special mention must be made of the breakfasts which were spectacular. The continental breakfast was vast and included fruit juice, cereal, croissants, fresh fruit and toast. There is also the (additional charge) option of a Full English which is fabulous, although it may mean you don't eat very much until rather later in the day...there isn't a huge amount of plate showing between the food. Bonus points must also be awarded to the choice of putting peppercorns on the mushrooms. Pro tip 1: if you're after a cooked breakfast (and I'd urge you to at least try it once), it's a good idea to let someone know the night before so they can be prepared. Pro tip 2: Steve and Andy's local knowledge is excellent, both in terms of the eateries, but also the small roads to avoid so I'd recommend taking advantage. I did a Google check on one of them and it'd be ... interesting ... to take a car down there, especially as you're highly likely to meet a tractor coming the other way.”

“Here for a course for 2 nights just 2 miles away from here, so for me the location was excellent and also quiet for me to relax and study. Staff very friendly and accommodating. “We hired the boat "Molly May" through Waterways Holidays from Norbury Wharf.. We arrived and we met by friendly approachable staff. The Boat was ready to go and was spotless.. We loaded up and Phil showed us all we needed to know, he was very thorough and left us full of confidence for the week ahead. On return we were helped into the boat yard and had to admit to a lost windlass and 2 broken glasses!! The staff were very good about it and didn't charge us and even offered 5% off our next to holiday with them! The cafe and chandlery were also excellent..
