“This place is like an Aladins cave. So much stuff I was concerned about breaking something. Apart from that it's brilliant, great choice of lighting, pictures, furniture, right down to ornaments and so much more. Also the lady and gent there were really friendly.”

“My mother is looking for a new sofa so had a look at NCF Living. Dan from the Stoke store helped us out. We needed certain requirements, but he was very knowledgeable, there was no pressure from him and made us feel very comfortable. We didn’t end up buying just yet, but his advice was great and gave us a lot to think about. We will be back once we’ve come to a decision and will look for Dan again. All round great customer service on our visit.”

Drinks as expected, but Lottie made some great suggestions and banging cocktails. Nice to see her have enthusiasm and hospitality skills to adapt to different customer needs. Well done”

“Fabulous service from Shaun at B&Q Meir on 14th August 3025 who helped cut some wood to the size so I could put shelves in my small shed. He was most helpful and polite and I came home and fitted them perfectly. I didn’t have the right equipment at home to cut the wood myself so appreciated the help. Many thanks again Shaun”

“Pleasant overnight stay on way to Alton Towers from Scotland. Will use this stop-over again. Despite rating of 2*, the travel lodge was staffed with helpful, polite, friendly, courteous staff who were on hand for all our questions, including local weather reports! Met all the needs for an overnight stay. Entrance, hallway, reception and room were all clean and tidy.”

“Incredible service. I broke down and managed to get my car into the car park at this hotel. Dylan was working the night shift on reception and was so helpful. He was very helpful in getting me any help needed and when I eventually needed to book a room he got this sorted for me very quickly and even accommodated really well for my dog. Then when checking out in the morning, the lady on reception was also incredibly helpful, friendly and accommodating, especially for my dog once again. I just wanted to say thank you so much for being so kind and helpful when I was in a tight spot. The best experience I could have from the loveliest staff.”

“Ordered our sofas from this store and we had the great pleasure of being served by James. James was absolutely incredible & his knowledge of every range, what the sofas are made out of and the aftercare is commendable. James was super patient with us (we were in the store for nearly 5 hours) he drew designs & our living room layout on his iPad to really help us visualise what the sofas would look like. James also has an incredible ability of mental maths so really helped us to understand how the sofas would fit & how much room we’d have either side etc. He also wasn’t afraid to say his opinion about weather he thought the sizing would look right (as we were thinking about a bigger sofa) - it’s a good job we listened to James as his expertise was right and a bigger one wouldn’t have fitted right. He also explained how in his spare time he researches ‘what’s on trend’ which actually have us the great idea of using our footstool (from the Oscar range) as a display table too. James is really passionate about what he does & made our experience so much easier! We now have two lovely sofas & a footstool from the Oscar range that fits perfectly into our living room and we’re very pleased! A huge thank you- James”

“A very old tiny little pub, struggling to keep up with the modern pubs of today. No meals ... Just a great little boozer for sampling a great pint. Keep these authentic little pubs open, by going along and helping to support them. You might find some great conversation instead of food and wi-fi. You might really enjoy a proper handpulled pint too.”

“What a wonderful stay we had at The Tawny.We were celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary and wanted somewhere special,where we could relax in nature. The meet and greet was great with Darren taking us to the Glade shepherd hut.A charming guy and extremely friendly. “Very delicious, authentic Thai food set in a beautiful pub-like setting (if you're looking for pub food, that would be at the Talbot pub next door). The food appealed to both first timers and fans of Thai food. Service was exceptional, and they were dog-friendly. Couldn't have asked for a better dining experience.”

“We had an amazing stay at the Tythe Barn House! We stayed in The Granary with 2 adults and 3 kids! Had a little front room kitchen, toilet and two bedrooms! Nice cosy little cottage! The host was lovely and she made us all very welcome! Cooked us a great breakfast in the morning! PS the local dominos delivers here which I is handy”

“What an amazing stay, Julie's hospitality from when we arrived until our departure. The room was spotless, the bed super comfortable even the sheets had a fantastic fresh smell. The breakfast is fit for a king, I couldn't finish it all but was really tasty. The shower was powerful with plenty hot water. If your in the area its the place to stay.”

“Absolutely fantastic, myself and partner have been coming here for a while. First time back after lockdown and it still doesn't disappoint. Brilliant staff, vibe and food. Deffo recomend the Pilli Pilli (not hot) served on a skillet. Always empty plates!”

“Stayed for two nights for a wedding. The girls that run this place are so friendly and nothing is too much for them. One of our friends didn’t make it back to the hotel for breakfast and they offered to keep a plate for her in case she was hungry which was so sweet of them to offer. Our room was very big, it is the basics but can commend them on the how clean and spacious they were and one of the few hotels that give you more than one hanger which was very handy! Breakfast is great, little shorter and earlier than I would prefer but the food quality makes it worth it. The girls are so friendly and so helpful with any questions. We will be back to visit our friends and certainly be staying here again!”
