βFood was amazing! I was so shocked at how quiet it was... We did go on a Tuesday evening so wasn't expecting it to be rammed. Food came very quickly and was delicious! Big portions too!β
βCalled in for food and drinks on Saturday afternoon with plenty of parking we accessed via a ramp and footbridge bridge over to the pub where we received a friendly welcome with choice of seating from bar area or dining area, dog friendly if you're walking past with your furry friend. We enjoyed a tasty vegan burger with hand made chips and also a great beef bourguignon, room for pudding was filled with a Bakewell tart with ice cream and a real treat of a honey and whiskey panna cotta. Both were well presented and another empty plate was left, definitely will be calling again to watch the canal boats and walkers passing byβ
βExcellent pub on the banks of the canal with moorings. Large beer garden with plenty of tables some under cover. Pub with conservatory and room overlooking the canal. Good bar area and Timothy Taylorβs Landlord on draught and very well kept served in a real jug not a straight glass. Food smelt good and menu looked good also. Will be back for dinner one evening.β
βTen of us went for dinner at the Farmers Arms last night. Both the service and food were absolutely fantastic!! I had sweet chilli chicken sizzler, with wraps, dips and rice and it was fabulous! I was trying to be good and resist the desserts, but when I saw the pavlova, I couldn't resist! Crispy delicious meringue flavoured with vanilla, covered with lovely soft Chantilly cream and thenΒ fruit and sauce on top. I think this is the best dessert I have had in some time. It was marvellous!!β
βAbsolutely superb, the fish strips are my favourite, the batter is light and crispy the fish so white, flaky and tasty! I ate inside with my husband, we had a childrenβs meal deal with a pot of tea each that was excellent! Then my granddaughter ate my left over fish last week I asked to take home more fish strips that are reasonably priced and when microwaved later on are still tasty and delicious! I would say this is one of the best fish and chip shops around! The chips are excellent also. The young ladies are very attractive and make you feel extremely welcome on your arrival. Thank you all for an amazing meal! We really look forward to shopping In Nantwich so I can then come to get my lunch at your place as it is just excellent! Thank you so much!β
βBooked a table very last minute, our first time visiting and the food was amazing. Service from J and Alfie was brilliantβ¦ such a thoughtful touch to offer a birthday brownie. Very welcoming and look forward to bringing our family next time.β
βFantastic food. Owner very friendly. Don't be put off by the outside appearance. Can't recommend enough. If you like Thai, try it. Very good value as wellβ
βVisited for lunch on a Thursday afternoon. The menu is diverse and the food is excellent. Service was mixed - one of the waitresses was good but the other wasnβt great (ignored us at the bar etc). But overall a good experience and weβd definitely return!β
βWhat a fantastic place! We've passed this a few times over the last couple months but it's always been closed out of hours. But today I took my 20 months old son for the first time and this is a game changer. Large screens in the cafe for the adults to sit and watch their kids whilst they all get on playing in the huge area decked out with everything a kid could wish for. Blocks, chalk, cars, dinosaurs, books. Very clean, very welcoming, lots of fun and an absolute bargain at Β£1.50. Highly recommended.β
βGorgeous chips ! Very popular with the locals.β
βHavenβt been here for a while until last night and I will be going a lot more frequently now! I had a lamb tikka saag with extra garlic and it was the best curry Iβve ever had!β
βWe had Sunday lunch today for 7 people. Everyone had a different Sunday Roast that was on offer. All were very nicely presented on hot plates. I had the pork belly that was very tender & tasty. Some of us had turkey that was very moist & plentiful. The beef was very nice & was cooked to your liking, the lamb was tender. The selection of vegetables hot & nicely cooked We also had some extras, pigs in blankets, red cabbage & cauliflower cheese all really nice. The service was very good, friendly & helpful. Was a very relaxing afternoon with friend's. Would highly recommend the Peacock for a lovely meal in nice relaxing surroundings. Will be going back for sure. Thank you for your service & a lovely time.β
βWe had an excellent night, the venue is first class! It was the perfect place for our disco on the longest night of the year. We could spill out into the outside area and enjoy cooling down out there a while. Thanks for the smooth operation and arrangements, Ollie and to the helpful staff on the night.β
βAlways great food, we donβt mind travelling for good food lucky for us itβs fairly local,β
βFantastic food great service fast deliveryβ
βWe have been here a couple of times now and find the staff extremely courteous, excellent service with the added extra of superb home made food. Very reasonableβ¦inexpensive (not cheap!). Just keep it secret!β
βTable for 1 on a Thursday - but the service was excellent. Food was fantastic too, one of the best Indian restaurants I have eaten at. Food tasted fresh and well prepared, presented amazingly. Spice levels in the menu were accurate too. Staff working here all seemed happy and recommended dishes that I haven't heard of and could describe them very well. Drink selection good too and draught cobra tasted good and matched well with food. Glancing into the kitchen and was refreshing to see a clean kitchen with organised sections too. If I'm ever back in the area I will be going back here!β
βFantastic garden centreβ¦ and itβs huge! The food market was amazing, so many treats, itβs hard to resist buying something. Nice cafeβs, but get there early as they get very busy towards lunchtime. The show gardens are amazing. Β£8 entry fee, but this is very reasonable considering the size and the upkeep of them all. Iβll definitely go back later in the year as weβd just missed a lot of the springtime flowers.β
βReally good food, very generous serving for the price!β
βReally unique concept of dining, menu is street food style that leaves you spoilt for choice. Fresh made burgers that to say the least are filling and absolutely delicious, there's also burritos and noodles and a huge choice of other bites for every taste and appetite. Everything on the menu is freshly prepared with great attention to detail of the ingredients. Good choice of cocktails served in a variety of quirky ways but only one draft lager but it was quite refreshing. Great repurposed furniture and decor with an outdoor seating area to the rear. Great place for groups great food, great atmosphere and really nice staff.β
β7th March 2025. We ended up here. The bar man was very friendly and extremely helpful, as we were looking for a place to eat. He recommended several places. Atmosphere was lively, busy pub, drinks reasonable price. We had a few in here, whilst we waited for the restaurant to open across the way. Would visit again.β
βLovely staff, fantastic selection of beers and fair price for this day and ageβ
βFirst time trying here whilst staying locally. Amazing! Fast delivery and food was all spot on. Reasonably priced for huge portions. We had the Go Go special keebab which was just perfect. We couldn't even finish it. We will be back when next in the area.β
βGreat food, great service what more is there to say.β
βReally good food in here. The shop Doesnβt look much, but food is very well presented and has some good flavours. The chicken strips were coated well and the house special sauce is amazing. Worth a visit. Will come back.β
βUber driver delivered the wrong order and when I called the restaurant they arranged for themselves to deliver the missing part of my order. Really appreciated and it was very nice for them to do that. Love full belliesβ
βThis is not my normal Chinese takeaway but I've eaten food from this place the last 30 years is Cantonese is good, nothing wrong. Never had a bad meal.β
βAbsolutely Amazing!!! We booked the Private Dining Chefs Table to celebrate an 18th Birthday. The food was absolutely delicious, a fantastic variety of Tapas, table service for drinks, waiting on staff provided a high class service. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a beautiful intimate setting with delicious food and great service.β
βOrdered 2 pizzas to be deliver and we were very surprised . Those 2 pizzas were very good . Definitely they got a new customer . Thank youβ
βFirst time visit whilst on a business trip. Called in for a takeaway and followed a group of diners who were known to the manager and he greeted them all warmly. I received the same welcoming smile and handshake as I entered which was a nice touch. The food is reasonably priced. The selected King Prawn Zamir was without doubt one of the best dishes I have ever had. Definitely on my go to list when next in Crewe 10/10β
