βBeen meaning to write a review for ages... this place is stunning and so are the owners, staff and food. Sophia and the team have an incredible job as custodians of such a beautiful and historic building and throughout lockdown they have shown strength and resilience beyond measure to keep it open and thriving. It was the only place we had takeaway from during lockdown, I think it was about 8 times in the end- amazing fish and chips. We were delighted to be able to eat in properly and each time the food and service has been perfect The menu is exquisite, wonderful fusions of flavours and presented like a piece of art! The 7 course tasting menu that should have been our NYE celebration, took place in May after lockdown and it was stunning and a much needed very special treat for my husband and I. I want to get there at lunchtime and enjoy the beautiful garden before the end of the summer!β
βTurned up with no booking. The staff promptly found us a table and served us drinks whilst we looked at the menu. We both had chicken roast dinner which was absolutely delicious. One of the best places I've visited for a roast all homemade and very substantial. Worth a visit if your passing through Nantwichβ
βAmazing services and amazing food I got 1 regular chip, 1 haddock, 1 onion ring (10 pieces), and a curry sauce just for Β£12.20, and they all taste really delicious. The owner even gave me gravy on the house, and he added some chips when I asked to take home my leftovers. I really recommend trying this place out when youβre in the area. Amazing. Period.β
βExcellent chip shop, with super friendly staff. Had several visits here and tried many items on the menu. The fish and chips are second to none, fresh and plentiful. If you fancy something else, there is plentyβ
βLovely place, good food excellent service nice surroundings.β
βVery good menu for both food and drink. Breakfasts were amazing and the juices were very good. I ordered a second to take away. The service was excellent too - friendly, polite and efficient. Can't wait to go back!β
βLovely little restaurant, good was insanely delicious, everything came out fresh and hot. Food came out very fast left like no more than 15mins. Child's pizza was lovely my child ate the whole thing. And said the icecream was nice. Staff (blonde lady on entrance) super friendly and very helpful. We are definitely returning 10/10 in all areas.β
βFarima was our waitress this evening, She was friendly and helpful with regards to our nut allergy needs. No task to hard checking ingredients for us. Aswell as taking us a photo together with our food. We've been a few times here and food is always exceptional and so are the staff. Warm and welcoming as always thankyou for a lovely night!β
βA great cocktail bar in Nantwich. It is very well decorated and the service is very friendly and welcoming. Tons of cocktails to choose from, all of a high quality!β
βI recently dined at Deadwood Smoke Restaurant and had an incredible experience from start to finish. The atmosphere was warm, rustic, and inviting β the perfect setting for a relaxing meal. The ambiance really added to the overall experience, with cozy lighting and a laid-back vibe that made it easy to settle in and enjoy the evening. Now onto the food β absolutely amazing! The menu offers a great selection, but the standout for me was definitely the steak. Cooked to perfection, it was tender, juicy, and full of that rich, smoky flavor youβd expect from a place that takes its grilling seriously. You could really taste the quality of the meat and the care put into its preparation. The service was also top-notch. The staff were friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu, offering great recommendations and checking in just the right amount. Whether youβre a fan of barbecue, a steak lover, or just someone looking for a great place to enjoy a hearty meal with excellent ambiance, Deadwood Smoke Restaurant is a must-visit. Iβm already looking forward to going back and trying more from their menu. Highly recommended!β
βJust had our Christmas meal and wow, it had us all planning for next Christmas! Been here a few times and tonight was no exception, food, staff and atmosphere all wonderful. Highly recommended!β
βWhat a delightful old pub in Nantwich. The food, the drink and wonderful ambience make this well worth a visit. Brimming with historic charm and a children's policy (over 12s only) which ensures a relaxing visit. I have to commend the landlord on enforcing this. Children are a blessing but I simply want to enjoy my downtime time in peace. To hear the crackle of the large open fire and conversation with my partner over a superb plate of food. Huge well done Darren & team. We will be back very soon!β
βEnjoyed a lovely meal with my husband and two friends. Great choices available on the menu, tasty food and excellent friendly service. Our first visit and we'll definitely be back. NB The upcoming festive menu looks great.β

βCame here for lunch and had delicious food. I had a regular size (which was a decent size) pizza Arriba, which was delicious! The dough is fantastic, I like a doughy pizza and this one delivered on that. The toppings were really generous, too. I did ask to change the chorizo to nduja, which was kindly done for me, although after ordering and paying, I was then told there were no peppers available. Not a biggie, but I think it's fair to be told things like that before paying. My wife went for the Mancini pasta, which she said was also delicious. Especially the mushrooms in the dish. I tried one and agreed that the flavours were incredible. They taken on the flavours of the chorizo and were just so moreish! She said it was only warm, though, and could have done with being a bit hotter. The drinks we ordered they didn't have in stock, and I got the impression they maybe don't stock what's on the menu as they had other beers (although they didn't have it available to buy, just had one on display) and wines that weren't on the menu, which again isn't a biggie, but a little strange. The staff were friendly. We paid just over 32.50 for the pizza, pasta, glass of wine, and a beer, which we felt was fair, especially as the food was so nice. Overall, we enjoyed the food and would go back again.β
βOn a training course in Nantwich and tried Basmati. Great place in the old railway station building. Was recommended the Naga, as I like some heat and I wasn't disappointed. Very tasty, and the naan was enormous. Excellent service too.β
βWe stopped in today after work to try the βmother cluckerβ chicken burger (Iβve been dying to try it since its release) and boy, it did not dissapoint!!! Best burger Iβve had in a very long time!β
βThe food was absolutely superb, quality homemade and delicious. The owners are lovely and made us feel very welcome. We don't live locally but if we come back to this area we would 100% come again. My wife said the Aperol Spritz was the best she's had outside of Italy! Beer was good too. Great for families. Highly recommended.β
βchicken wings and chips from Bombay Junction at Crewe Market Hall were incredibly delicious. The chicken wings were exceptionally tender, and the overall experienc that truly impressed me.β
βUnbelievably good food, never had a bad meal here. Lovely staff, good location, great coffee. Average prices. Definitely worth a visit.β
βLovely little B&B, very very friendly and welcoming. Room was very clean and modern. Breakfast selection was good, choosing the day before of a variety of options - on top of that there was yoghurt, fruit, cereal and fruit juice available. The extra little touches such as fresh milk and muffins are the things that make an already good place a great place to stay!β
βCanβt cope with how gorgeous the food is here! Portion sizes are great and excellent value for money! Food is delicious and always hot! I like the fact that my sandwich is cut in half and wrapped separately as sometimes I donβt have time to eat all of it so I can save it for later! Owner is lovely and highly experienced! Brilliant little take away shop!β
βCame for breakfast and it was absolutely lovely. Great friendly service and quality ingredients. Can't wait to returnβ
βGreat service and great dishes. Care is clearly taken and pride in their food is clearly evident. This is by far your best option for food near Crewe Station by a country mile. Loved the Hot and Sour Soup especially. Would recommend.β
βWe had a vegetarian Sunday Lunch - gorgeous roasties and Nut Toast with the usual veggies. Really good portions and helpful, friendly staff. 2 main courses and 2 pints for under Β£36β
βReally enjoyed having a little stop at this cafe for a drink. In the centre of town just off the main area itβs big enough for maybe 25 people with various tables inside and out. Toilets on site and itβs wheelchair accessible too. They allowed our dog in as he was well behaved. Lovely service and very friendly. We had a couple of cream teas with great clotted cream and home made scones - it was a great time thanksβ
βWonderful, wonderful bar. The DJ is out of this world!! Me and a couple of pals had dinner and drinks here on a Saturday night. I didnβt realise the place turns into a full blown nighty C after dark. Food was amazing, service too. But, the DJ was something else! Got chatting with the DJ who names himself βJoey the Axeβ (I think). He was brilliant. Read the room with his music, and was very very friendly. Played all of our requests without issue and made the night very special. Even gave me a lift home and walked me to my door!! Iβll never forget you Joey the Axe.β
βA great meal and lovely service. Food was amazing and beers were great. Will be back and strongly recommended for a meal.β
βPopped in for an evening meal and had a really good night. The lively atmosphere and friendly customers paired with great food and drinks means I'll be visiting more often!β
