“At good place for people with special needs”
“This nursery is fantastic. We use the breakfast club, after-school club, and holiday clubs, and it’s always been a reliable and welcoming place for our family. The staff are friendly and approachable, with many long-standing team members, which creates a sense of consistency and trust. The environment is relaxed and feels like a home from home. It’s exactly the kind of place I feel confident leaving my child.”
“Quaint little church tucked away in the village of Rushton spencer very old very nice”
“Life-changing nursery! We found this place through it's stay and play sessions and it quickly became our favourite weekly activity. It was such a welcoming and nurturing environment for both me and my little one, and we made great friends there both with other families and the lovely staff. We found the gentle and respectful ethos aligned so well with our parenting style that we took our little one out of his mainstream nursery when he reached 2 and put him in the nursery where he absolutely thrived. The staff are incredible positive role models and I honestly learnt so much from watching their interactions with my son. He's developed into a wonderful, nature-loving, kind and caring, curious individual and he adored his time at Ladybugs. He's now at school but always looks forward to going to the holiday club and greets the staff with big hugs whenever he sees them. I can't recommend Ladybugs highly enough. Absolutely fantastic.”
“A super school, led by a very caring head.”
“Good primary school that meets all of your child's education needs”
“Just completed the weekend Bushcraft, survival and wilderness living level 2. What an amazing weekend I am not new to Bushcraft but the knowledge of the instructor was extremely impressive. Peak district survival managed to cover so many aspects of Bushcraft/ wilderness living with out anything being rushed. There where many levels of experience on the course and everyone felt included and engaged. I will definitely be back.”

“Absolutely beautiful little school and amazing teaching within. So glad we chose this school for our child”
“My grandson left The Croft Nursery yesterday after two and a half wonderful years. From day one the care he has had has been outstanding. From the baby room to preschool he has had a wonderful start preparing him for school. The staff are kind and caring. They really get to know the children and the family, and they understand how hard it is to leave your most precious baby. O, and the food is lovely too! Our little guy usually had 2 dinners!!”
“I like this place cuz it's my school I'm in yr4”
“My son started he when he was a little over two. He is autistic and non verbal. This preschool has been amazing and I would choose them again and again. The staff are so friendly and my boy has come so far with their help. I wish I could give more stars as they have been that good!”

“My primary school. Amazing memories of this place.”
“This school is the best school because i go there”
“Today I passed my driving test first time and with zero minors and I think that in itself shows how AMAZING Jason is as a driving teacher. I say " teacher" rather than "instructor" because every lesson I was learning, each lesson gradually being taught the different areas of what it takes to drive with confidence and most importantly safely. I was so nervous about learning to drive but as soon as I met Jason he put me at ease and that continued throughout our lessons, we worked though my personal strengths and my very very long list of weaknesses, mainly anxiety and self doubt. Jason never doubted me once and was always full of positivity and praise, whatever issues I had we worked at them and set goals until everything clicked into place. Thank you for helping me achieve my new found freedom. Xxx”
“Excellent staff and great atmosphere for children to create and learn.”
“Best nursery, fabulous staff, very caring, specialy sarah,Caroline, emily, julie, roxy ..”
“Excellent village school with small class sizes, quality teaching and a nurturing environment”
“I attended Yarlet between 2009 and 2015 and had an amazing time. In particular, I loved the music and sport. Thanks to the dedication of my teachers and all the activities which motivated me, I left with a double scholarship to Repton School before transferring to Denstone College. Yarlet set me up for the future and I look forward to studying keyboard at the Royal Northern College of Music in September.”
