“Amazing little guest house. Room was very clean complimentary shower gel and shampoo was a nice little suprise. Room was very well equipped with hair dryer ironing board and good wifi connection. Perfect location for exploring ilam park and Thorpe Cloud and the Roaches. Also near Haddon Hall Chatsworth House and Bakewell just a short 30 min drive away. Hosts were lovely and breakfast was amazing. I am a celiac and they were more than happy to cater for me. Leek itself is a lovely little market town with plenty of coffee shops, restaurants and pubs and nice independent shops which was very refreshing. Would definately recommend and would stay again.”

“Great little find, cheap and easy to access. Stayed here for 1 night while working and visiting family. Arrived late and Kevin texted me the details regarding self check-in. Clean, comfortable and the coffee is greatly appreciated. Only downside is the bathroom being so far away but considering I was there less than 12 hours I can't really argue. I will be staying here again.”

From booking, to arriving, the welcome, the accommodation, and the food was all first class. The cost was very reasonable, I would have expected to pay much more given how good it was. “AMAZING!! I booked The old Parlour and Cow Shed to come with some of my closest friends to celebrate my 40th Birthday. The barns are beautiful and they have thought of all the tiny details. The bath house toiletries in particular smell incredible! They provided milk, tea and coffee to get us started as well as bath robes. We chose to add a booking on with Georgie and Co who came to the barns to provide us all with treatments.It was the best massage I’ve had in quite some time! I would highly recommend booking if you want to add some relaxation to your stay. I can’t wait to visit again! x”

“Kev is a great instructor. After learning to dive in Thailand and caught the diving love bug last year, Kev had massively helped me improve my skills as well as teaching me dry suit & Nitrox. I went on one of his diving trips to Egypt this year which gave me some great memories and met some amazing people. Would highly recommend him as an instructor and plan to continue to progress my skills in the future. Kev also aided in helping me start sourcing my own gear within my budget.”

“We went for a flu jab last weekend and it was so well organised! A lot of people were due to have the jabs. We turned up a bit early, joined a longish queue which went down very quickly, there were plenty of friendly helpers, the jabs were done quickly and efficiently and we were out. It all took about 10 minutes.”

“Needed hotel as visiting family near by, this was in an excellent location. Alsager is a lovely town, we visited a lovely bakers and had a lovely lunch. Also pubs and couple of restaurants nearby for evening meals. If you like national trust, there's a quaint place called Little Morton Hall worth a visit. The hotel was run by lovely people, and the breakfast can't be faulted. We will definitely stay there again”

“The accomodation was excellent. We had a converted outbuilding to ourselves with a choice of bedrooms, a small kitchen, lounge and conservatory. A friendly welcome from Eileen together with a couple of generous slices of cake was a perfect start to the stay at the farm. There was plenty of toiletries, tea, coffee, milk etc and the kitchen was well appointed with immaculate and modern appliances. The owners have got a Labrador puppy named Harper who was absolutely adorable. We would have loved to stay longer and will definitely return to this idyllic and peaceful location with stunning views of the countryside. There are plenty of places to eat and drink in the area. We ended up having a curry in a restaurant called "New royal balti" in Audley which was superb. Being non licensed we took a bottle of wine there from the Tesco store a few doors away.”
