“Went on a Saturday for the lunch, it was quiet at the time, only 3 of us were the customers . We ordered masala dosa, kizhi parotta beef , fish thali and two mango lassi. The place is clean and had a good vibe with music. Food came out within 25 minutes and food was amazing. Portion size is very generous. I think it’s value for the money. Only thing I noted customer service is not up to the standard might need some training on it. Highly recommended if you’re are in to South Indian food.”

“Ordered from here for collection! Everything spot on, food was good and hot. My only gripe with ordering pizza is I feel lime you need a degree to order it without wasting cash! I had to process the order 3 / 4 times to mess with options to get the same food, peices ranged from £57 to £46 so worth the hassle but shouldn't be this hard! Not to take away from this store though, as that's more a group / pizza issue that needs fixing.”

“Absolutely fantastic breakfast! I ordered a bacon, sausage and egg bap, a chicken and bacon sandwich, and a loaded breakfast oatcake — and every bite was delicious. Everything was hot, fresh, and full of flavour. You can really tell they use quality ingredients and take pride in what they serve. Easily one of the best breakfast spots around — I’ll definitely be back!”

“A lovely little place with a good breakfast. I had the full English, it was well priced. The bacon was well done just like I asked for. Food was tasty and set us up for the day. We went on a Sunday morning. It opens at 8am which I think is amazing. Nice plants in the windows, nicely presented place. The staff are great, even the chefs in the back give us a smile. “Kanu Poke Imagine eating in a work of art and tasting wonderful, exciting gastronomic delights! Welcome to Kanu Poke in Shrewsbury. From the moment we walked in we were greeted by a smiling George who was one of the co owners. On commenting about the on-trend decor, he explained that the artwork was designed and painted by his partner Katie. We were a tad early but it wasn't a problem. Seated upstairs in a great window seat we really felt like we were on holiday. Surrounded by colorful murals we were hoping that the meals were going to be as good as the decor. We weren't disappointed. A pleasant server greeted us with some tasty bites and took our drinks order, when they arrived they were colourful just like the decor. The nibbles had set the tone for what was about to come. Popcorn Chikanu and Teriyaki Tofu as starters followed by the Crispy Tofu Sunflower Satay and The Mexicana. We also had a refreshing pan seared teriyaki vegetable medley. Wow, the flavours were unbelievably tasty and fresh and the service quick. What's more it's Vegan, Gluten and Nut free. It's the perfect place to eat plant based flavoursome food. What a find. Keep up the good work!”

“Love Hongs. And now with the addition of Kawaii Boba Tea it's an ideal place to pop in and eat and drink or pick up and take away. Food is great, portions are amazing. I'd rather spend 8, 9, 10 pounds on a portion of food here and get loads (even the small portion is loads) and leave full and stay full for ages. Rather than spend the same amount in a fast food place and be hungry within half an hour. Plus you have the added bonus that all the food is great quality and fresh. Staff are really friendly and make you feel very welcome. All in all brilliant, well worth a visit.”
